SPECTACULAR

Ready Player One is going to be the Willy Wonka for the current generation. The film was spectacular. Visually stunning. The history of pop culture from the era of the dawn of video games was amazing.

I grew up with the Atari 2600 and all the gaming consoles since then. I loved the Iron Giant, and Back to the Future. Ready Player One had everything for me.

• Wonderful puzzles
• Amazing graphics
• Phenomenal characters
• Great performances

This film is going to be the subject of trivia contests for decades to come, with questions like "what did Batman do in this film?"

I highly recommend you don't read any reviews that talk about the plot and go into the film blind. I purposely did not read the book, or read/watch any reviews, and went into the movie blind. I was blown away from the first frames, and I felt as I did when I first saw the first Willy Wonka movie when I was a child. I was completely transported into this modern digital fairly tale, and I was completely amazed.

Rating - A (Worth the price of the ticket and a night on the town)
