En el mundo del anime/manga, hemos tenido adaptaciones excepcionales, unas no tan buenas y otras que... Son un desastre, y hoy, les traigo a colación dos series que para mi merecen tener un Brotherhood.
While I haven't seen (I still have it pending) Fullmetal Alchemist, I obviously know the context of it and that's why I make the reference to said series, having said that, I'll start.
Si bien no he visto (aun lo tengo pendiente) Fullmetal Alchemist, obviamente se el contexto de esta misma y por eso hago la referencia a dicha serie, habiendo dicho esto, empezaré.
Berserk
Some time ago I made a post about the manga of Berserk, in which several people asked me if it had an anime adaptation and yes, it has two adaptations, but, they were not to the liking of many. I, in order to have a more objective opinion, I took a look at both versions and I must say that the 1997 adaptation is better than the 2017 one, but, it only adapts the first chapters of the manga and ends in the eclipse, its good point is that it is quite faithful to the manga. The 2017 version is full of CGI (the bad kind) and at least for me is quite uncomfortable to watch, it adapts a very good arc, but the way it is adapted is what I criticize and practically everyone who talks about the adaptations of Berserk.
Hace un tiempo hice un post sobre el manga de Berserk, en el cual varios me preguntaron si esta tenia una adaptación al anime y si, tiene dos adaptaciones, pero, no fueron del agrado de muchos. Yo, para poder tener una opinión mas objetiva, le eche un vistazo a ambas versiones y debo decir que la adaptación de 1997 es mejor que la de 2017, pero, solo adapta los primeros capítulos del manga y termina en el eclipse, su punto bueno es que es bastante fiel al manga. La versión de 2017 esta llena de CGI (del malo) y al menos para mi es bastante incomoda de ver, adapta un muy buen arco, pero el como esta adaptada es lo que critico yo y prácticamente todo el que habla de las adaptaciones de Berserk.

Sinceramente yo creo que es un muy buen manga que merece una muy buena adaptación que este a la altura, aunque hay muchos fans de Berserk, tal vez los estudios de animación no quieran arriesgarse ya que (si has leído el manga lo sabrás) la historia y el dibujo son bastante complejos y tal vez, solo tal vez, resulte no ser mainstream como la muchos animes que salen ahora. Ah, también hay dos películas que adaptan una parte de la historia, por si las quieren ver.
Tokyo Ghoul
I have also talked about this one once and I take this opportunity to recommend you to read the manga, it is very good. The one that is not good is Pierrot, the studio in charge of that disaster of adaptation of Tokyo Ghoul, although the first season was decent (because they cut many things), from the second season everything went downhill, and come on, I know that the author wanted to try another direction for the story, but Pierrot did what he wanted and it came out a poop, and with the later seasons they wanted to adapt the manga as it was and it came out worse, I still remember the hype that raised the first season and also the mythical opening Unravel and everything went downhill after that.
De este también he hablado una vez y aprovecho esta oportunidad para recomendarles leer el manga, es muy bueno. El que no es bueno es Pierrot, el estudio encargado de ese desastre de adaptación de Tokyo Ghoul, si bien la primera temporada estuvo decente (porque cortaron muchas cosas), desde la segunda temporada todo se fue en picada, y vamos, yo se que el autor quería probar otro rumbo para la historia, pero Pierrot hizo lo que le dio la gana y salió una caca, y con las temporadas posteriores quisieron adaptar el manga como estaba y salió peor, aun recuerdo el hype que levanto la primera temporada y también el mítico opening Unravel y todo fue en picada luego de eso.
I think the Tokyo Ghoul manga deserves a good adaptation faithful to the manga, because it's pretty good from the beginning and there's no need to change anything, well, the ending might not please many but I thought it was pretty decent, it has everything to be a successful adaptation.
