Review "Gone Girl" EN/ES

Ésta película inicia con el diálogo narrado de Nick (el protagonista) y con una escena donde acaricia el cabello rubio de su esposa Amy, la cual alza su rostro y mira hacia la cámara con una mirada incomprensible. Tema del que habla la voz de Nick, quien dice querer abrir el cráneo de Amy y desenrollar su cerebro para tener respuestas a incógnitas como "¿qué siente?" o "¿qué está pensando?".

This film begins with the narrated dialogue of Nick (the protagonist) and a scene where he caresses the blonde hair of his wife Amy, who raises her face and looks at the camera with an incomprehensible look. Nick's voice speaks about this subject, who says he wants to open Amy's skull and unwind her brain to get answers to questions like "what is she feeling?" or "what is she thinking?".

Luego de presentar créditos a los actores protagonistas, Gone Girl muestra por primera vez a Nick parado frente a su casa observando la calle, el 5 de Julio. Minutos después, llegando en su auto a "El Bar", se baja de su auto con su café y algo bajo el brazo. Al entrar se encuentra con su hermana, Margo, quien también trabaja en el lugar.

After introducing the credits of the main actors, Gone Girl first shows Nick standing in front of his house looking at the street, on July 5th. Minutes later, arriving in his car at "The Bar", he gets out of his car with his coffee and something under his arm. As he enters he meets his sister, Margo, who also works at the place.

Nick le entrega lo que llevaba bajo el brazo, que era un juego de mesa, y ella lo guarda junto a otros juegos más que coleccionaban. Nick le pide un whisky y ella, confundida por el semblante decaído de su hermano, empieza a preguntarle qué le pasa. Luego de darle vueltas al asunto, él comenta que hoy es su aniversario número cinco con su esposa y Margo se sorprende de lo rápido que pasó el tiempo.

Nick hands her what he had under his arm, which was a board game, and she puts it away with some other games they collected. Nick asks her for a whiskey and she, confused by her brother's downcast countenance, begins to ask him what's wrong. After some thought, he comments that today is his fifth anniversary with his wife, and Margo is surprised at how quickly the time has passed.

La siguiente escena vemos a Amy escribiendo en su diario con la fecha del 8 de enero del 2005, y escribe que está locamente enamorada. Recordando y narrando, se sumerge en la historia de cómo conoció a el chico más guapo y buena onda en una fiesta. Mientras ella estaba parada observando a las personas, detrás de ella se acerca Nick y con un chiste hace referencia a que no quedan ya cervezas y ella tomó la última, lo que hace que ella burlonamente le diga que eso atraería hombres desesperados como él.

The next scene we see Amy writing in her diary dated January 8, 2005, and she writes that she is madly in love. Recalling and narrating, she dives into the story of how she met the coolest and most handsome guy at a party. As she stands there people-watching, behind her Nick comes up behind her and jokingly refers to the fact that there are no beers left and she drank the last one, which makes her mockingly tell him that it would attract desperate men like him.

Mientras continúan un cómico coqueteo y él termina de intentar adivinar cuál de algunos hombres de la fiesta es del tipo de Amy, Nick le pregunta quién es ella, pero Amy en lugar de contestar directamente, le da tres opciones diferentes para que él adivine cuál de esas es la correcta. Al acertar, ella de vuelta pregunta quién es él, por lo que lanza una insinuación diciéndole que él es el hombre que la salvaría de todas las maravillas.

As they continue a comical flirtation and he finishes trying to guess which of some of the men at the party is Amy's type, Nick asks her who she is, but Amy instead of answering directly, gives him three different options for him to guess which of those is correct. Upon getting it right, she again asks who he is, so he throws in a hint telling her that he is the man who would save her from all the wonders.

Al rato entran en un elevador y ella está hablando sobre el trabajo de Nick, que escribe para una revista de hombres. Ella se burla diciendo que entonces sabe perfectamente cómo ser un hombre y que sabe cómo mentir muy bien, pero él lo niega y dice que a ella jamás le mentiría. Amy dice que es imposible creerle y que quizá sea por la barbilla "villanesca" que tiene Nick, a lo que él se tapa la barbilla y dice "cien porciento verdad, nada de mentiras".

After a while they enter an elevator and she is talking about Nick's job, who writes for a men's magazine. She teases him that he knows how to be a man and that he knows how to lie very well, but he denies it and says that he would never lie to her. Amy says it's impossible to believe him and that maybe it's because of Nick's "villainous" chin, to which he covers his chin and says "one hundred percent truth, no lies".

Al salir del elevador y caminar por las calles de la ciudad de noche, pasan por un callejón y él le dice emocionado que deben ver algo. Entran al callejón y está un camión y varios hombres bajando muchas cantidades de azúcar lo que hizo que se hiciera una gran nube de azúcar en el aire. Ella mira al rededor fascinada por el montón de azúcar a su alrededor, y Nick camina hacia a ella y dice que tiene que besarla porque nadie puede salir de una tormenta de azúcar sin un beso.

As they exit the elevator and walk through the city streets at night, they pass an alley and he excitedly tells her that they should see something. They enter the alley and there is a truck and several men bringing down lots of sugar which made a big cloud of sugar in the air. She looks around fascinated by the pile of sugar around her, and Nick walks up to her and says he has to kiss her because no one can get out of a sugar storm without a kiss.

Acto seguido, pasa dos dedos por los labios de Amy para quitarle un poco de azúcar, ya que estaba completamente blanca de tanto que había en el aire, y luego de eso, procede a darle el que sería el primer beso de su vids juntos. Vuelven a la actualidad, con Nick y Margo jugando el juego de mesa que Nick le llevó. Margo le pregunta si éste año Amy hará una caza del tesoro por su aniversario, y él recalca que más que un juego, es como una marcha forzada para demostrar lo olvidadizo que es él.

He then runs two fingers across Amy's lips to remove some of the sugar, as she was completely white from so much of it being in the air, and after that, proceeds to give her what would be the first kiss of their vids together. They return to present day, with Nick and Margo playing the board game Nick brought her. Margo asks him if this year Amy will be doing a scavenger hunt for their anniversary, and he stresses that rather than a game, it's like a forced march to show how forgetful he is.

Dice que era divertido el primer año, porque se regalaban papel y ella le regaló un libro para que escribiera su novela y él le regaló un cometa ya que ells nunca había volado uno. Pero ya el cuarto año, el año de flores, ella lo llevó a su jardín el cual tenía un rosal pero estaba moribundo. Los interrumpe una llamada del vecino de Nick, y sin dar detalles Nick sale rápidamente del bar y en su camioneta llega a su casa.

He says it was fun the first year, because they gave each other paper and she gave him a book to write his novel and he gave her a kite because he had never flown one. But in the fourth year, the year of flowers, she took him to her garden which had a rose bush but it was dying. They were interrupted by a phone call from Nick's neighbor, and without giving details Nick quickly left the bar and in his truck arrived home.

Toma a su gato que estaba paseando fuera de su casa y nota la puerta de la entrada, abierta un poco. Le dan las gracias a su vecino que estaba sentado al otro lado de la calle, y pasa a la casa a averiguar por qué estaba abierta la puerta.

They take their cat, who was walking outside their house, and notice the front door is open a little. They thank their neighbor who was sitting across the street, and go into the house to find out why the door was open.

Luego de varios intentos fallidos de llamar a su esposa y ella no responder, al pasar por la cocina se da cuenta de que la sala estaba como si hubiesen entrado a robar.La mesa de vidrio estaba completamente rota, habían pedazos de vidrio al rededor de todos el lugar y los muebles estaban volteados.

After several unsuccessful attempts to call his wife and her not answering, he walked through the kitchen and noticed that the living room looked like it had been burglarized, the glass table was completely broken, there were shards of glass all around the place and the furniture was upside down.

Luego de gritar el nombre de su esposa y no tener respuesta, llama a la policía. Al llegar la policía, se presenta la detective Rhonda Boney con un oficial a su lado. Entran a la casa y comienzan con el respectivo análisis de la casa. En el recorrido, Nick cuenta que se mudaron hace pocos años de Nueva York, ya que su mamá estaba enferma pero que lastimosamente tiempo después murió. La primera marcs que hace la detective es en la mesa de planchar, notando que la plancha aún estaba encendida y echando un apenas visible humo. La segunda marca es en la cocina, donde encima encuentra una pequeña salpicadura de algo que parecía sangre.

After yelling his wife's name and getting no response, he calls the police. When the police arrive, Detective Rhonda Boney shows up with an officer by her side. They enter the house and begin the respective analysis of the house. During the tour, Nick tells them that they moved a few years ago from New York, as his mother was ill, but unfortunately she died some time later. The first mark the detective makes is on the ironing board, noting that the iron was still on and smoking. The second mark is in the kitchen, where she finds a small splash of something that looked like blood.

Al pasar a la oficina de Amy, la oficial se sorprende al ver que ella es la protagonista de una historia llamada "La Asombrosa Amy", cuento para niños basado en la infancia (un poco alterada) de Amy. Nuevamente se transportan al pasado, al 24 de febrero del 2007, y Amy comienza una vez más a narrar, ésta vez hablando de que "La Asombrosa Amy" se iba a casar. Está paseando en un salón de fiestas, de la mano de su novio Nick. Le está contando sobre cómo esos libros eran el deseo de sus padres de cómo querían que Amy fuera. Menciona que a los diez años ella dejó de tocar el chelo, y que en el siguiente libro de cuentos, "la asombrosa Amy" se convirtió en un prodigio en el chelo, y que estuvo en un equipo de voleibol pero la echaron, y luego en el cuento "la asombrosa" llegó a voleibol universitario.

As they pass Amy's office, the officer is surprised to see that she is the protagonist of a story called "The Amazing Amy", a children's story based on Amy's (slightly altered) childhood. They are again transported back in time to February 24, 2007, and Amy once again begins to narrate, this time talking about how "Amazing Amy" was getting married. She's walking around in a party room, hand in hand with her boyfriend Nick. She is telling him about how those books were her parents' wish of how they wanted Amy to be. He mentions that at age ten she stopped playing the cello, and that in the next storybook, "The Amazing Amy" she became a prodigy on the cello, and that she was on a volleyball team but got kicked off, and then in the story "The Amazing Amy" made it to college volleyball.

Mientras Amy habla de no quejarse ya que por todo el dinero de los libros ella tiene una casa y dinero, aparece su madre (quien es la autora de los libros) y le reclama por no llevar un vestido blanco por el hecho de que en el libro se iba a casar. Amy le dice que le parece un poco espeluznante hacer eso y cuando su madre iba a hablar, Nick la interrumpe bromeando sobre lo que estaba por decir. Mientras Amy está hablando con unos reporteros y siendo fastidiada con que la Amy del libro siempre está un paso adelante que ella, ellos le mencionan que aún no se ha casado y ella lo confirma. En ese momento aparece Nick, finge ser un reportero más y comienza a hacer preguntas sobre la vida personal de Amy con su novio Nick (él mismo).

As Amy talks about not complaining since for all the money from the books she has a house and money, her mother (who is the author of the books) shows up and complains to her about not wearing a white dress because of the fact that in the book she was getting married. Amy tells her that she thinks it's kind of creepy to do that and when her mother was about to speak, Nick interrupts her by joking about what she was about to say. While Amy is talking to some reporters and being teased that the Amy in the book is always one step ahead of her, they mention to her that she hasn't gotten married yet and she confirms it. At that point Nick shows up, pretends to be just another reporter and starts asking questions about Amy's personal life with her boyfriend Nick (himself).

Luego de halagar a Amy de una manera romántica, él le propone matrimonio mencionando que ella es mucho más fantástica que la Amy del libro. Amy sonríe y se besan. Luego de tan lindo recuerdo de su relación, una vez más vuelven a la actualidad, donde mantienen una gran incógnita del paradero de Amy. Nadie sabe nada de ella, no pueden contactarse con ella y luego de la comprometedora escena en su casa, todos están muy preocupados con que sea un secuestro o asesinato.

After flattering Amy in a romantic way, he proposes to her, mentioning that she is much more fantastic than the Amy in the book. Amy smiles and they kiss. After such a nice memory of their relationship, they once again return to the present day, where they maintain a great unknown of Amy's whereabouts. No one knows anything about her, they can't contact her and after the compromising scene at her house, everyone is very worried about it being a kidnapping or murder.
