Story&Summary
At his food company workplace Shin Hari proves himself as a diligent employee. Throughout many years he developed a crush on his colleague yet learned she had chosen someone different. His wealthy partner Jin Youngseo grows frustrated so she proposes a peculiar arrangement to him. Youngseo's parents organized a blind date for him although he refuses to attend it. Hari discovers his date to be the company CEO Kang Tomu who runs his food business. He leads his life by strict standards using time efficiently since he disapproves of wasting time. To dissuade his boss from developing affection for him Hari behaves strangely and over-dramatically pretending to be his girlfriend. But the opposite happens! Tomu selects his female partner for marriage because his family requires him to wed while this particular choice could provide him with parental freedom.
Hari's web of deceit forces him to attempt hiding his real self whereas he encounters considerable difficulty with this plan. Tomu proposes to maintain their current arrangement by hiring Hari to play his girlfriend. Hari first denies the terms but decides to accept them afterward because of domestic needs together with financial deficits. The real issue starts when Tomu discovers genuine romantic love for Hari thus pursuing to understand him better.
Slowly Hari begins to experience romantic attachments toward Tomu. At the same time Secretary Cha Sunghoon from Tomu's office develops romantic feelings with Youngseo. Tomu discovers everything Hari kept hidden after their arranged marriage which triggers the true problem between them. The revelation of her pain causes her to want to break their relationship.
The existence of true love contains both the problem as well as the answer. Hari speaks his love to her directly which leads Tomu to understand she should grant him forgiveness. Their fresh start leads to happiness as a couple in the conclusion of the story.
