Saludos, me esta emocionando escribir nuevamente sobre cine como antes lo hacía, pero estas vez sin presiones, prefiero hacer una publicación espontánea que mantenerla como una responsabilidad semanal como en mis inicios en la plataforma, de este modo la experiencia actual se hace más placentera y me hace sentir bien, en esta ocasión quiero contarles sobre una película llamada el Piano, esta tenía algunas reseñas de que se trata de una película enfocada en la mujer pero al verla me di cuenta que en realidad sin los personajes masculinos la protagonista no tendría desarrollo, haciéndome sentir incomoda incluso en algunas escenas y partes esenciales de la historia, la película logró mantenerme atenta hasta que en el trama se tornó con vientos de resolución, me sorprendió como se convirtió en una historia que vale la pena ver, además música es exquisita.
Greetings, I am excited to write about cinema again as I did before, but this time without pressure, I prefer to make a spontaneous publication than to keep it as a weekly responsibility as in my beginnings on the platform, in this way the current experience becomes more pleasant and it makes me feel good, this time I want to tell you about a movie called the Piano, this had some reviews that it is a movie focused on women but when I saw it I realized that in reality without the male characters the protagonist would not have development, making me feel uncomfortable even in some scenes and essential parts of the story, the movie managed to keep me attentive until the plot took winds of resolution, I was surprised how it became a story worth seeing, plus the band sound is exquisite.
La película es del año 1993, dirigida por Jane Campion y protagonizada por Holly Hunter, por Harvey Keitel y Sam Neill estos dos grandes actores masculinos que son completamente identificables por sus películas más famosas, tan grandes personalidades podrían opacar el papel protagónico de pero no es el caso porque la actriz ganó el Oscar y el Globo de oro con esta cinta, aún sin tener muchos diálogos es personaje con mayor desarrollo es ella, quien comienza siendo una viuda que acepta un matrimonio arreglado y se tiene que ir a vivir a Nueva Zelanda donde su esposo a quien no ha visto nunca tiene tierras, este trata de expandir sus dominios pero tiene un trabajo muy duro al tener que convivir con Maoríes sin hablar su idioma y trabajar en tierras pantanosas que nunca han sido utilizadas para la siembra ni nada parecido, en medio de ese lugar con un clima tan hostil la dama llega con su hija y su piano.

Estamos hablando de una película de época , del siglo XIX en que todavía no se dan grandes avances médicos, tecnológicos, entre otras y más aún en tierras colonizadas de forma tan reciente, pero ella llega desde Europa específicamente de Escocia siendo una mujer atada a sus costumbres , es decir tocar el piano y vestir con grandes vestidos nada apropiados para el terreno enlodado, el piano es difícil de trasladar a su nuevo hogar por lo que es abandonado en el camino. Pero aquí viene lo interesante de asunto, la protagonista es muda, pero no sorda, por lo cual este piano tiene una importante función en su vida, a pesar de que ella usa el lenguaje de con su hija, la música que obtiene gracias a sus dedos y el piano es el único medio de expresión de sus emociones, siendo una mujer además de muda poco expresiva a nivel gestual.

Sinceramente uno cree que todo está dicho, que la historia terminará en tragedia, que esto no es más que dos hombres abusivos a su manera y una mujer que parece inocente pero que no lo es tanto, pero la psicología del personaje femenino tiene su fondo , de cierto modo ella misma ha estado toda su vida tratando de lidiar con sus propias emociones y con sus decisiones, bajo su apariencia de pájaro débil es una mujer que se hace valiente pero que también como cualquier humano le cuesta entender sus impulsos, sus pasiones y al mismo tiempo tiene una gran fortaleza, resulta ser que los más emocionales en la película terminan siendo los hombres que la aman ,por un momento la protagonista me hizo recordar un poco la película las Horas del 2002 por la manera como es representada la vida de Virginia Wolff, es decir, siempre está en su mundo interior, donde sus emociones encuentran su único canal en la música y en el caso de Virginia en la poesía, creo que no es una película para todos, solo para los amantes de las tramas lentas, tiene su tragedia, tiene su pasión y tiene su alegría, pero nunca ninguna de estas brillará sobre la otra hasta el final el cual es en realidad esperanzador. Espero se tomen el tiempo para disfrutarla.
