Saludos a todos, el día de hoy les quiero comentar acerca de una película de 2012 llamada The master, esta fue dirigida por Paul Thomas Anderson y protagonizada por Joaquin Phoenix y Philip Seymour Hoffman, aunque no es nueva estaba dentro de mi lista de pendientes, siempre me he sentido atraída por películas que pongan como parte de su temática principal o de complemento el asunto de las enfermedades mentales, es un tema muy sensible pero como toda buena película esta logra hacernos pensar y ponernos incómodos, por que el buen arte siempre tiene que despertar una emoción bien sea de placer o displacer como pensaba Kant, es decir que la experiencia estética no solo siempre está ligada a lo que es bello, esta película es un ejemplo de esto, es una historia que puede ser hilarante, sensible, molesta, triste o alegre en cada una de sus partes, pero lo que no deja de ser nunca es compleja, porque los dramas humanos siempre lo son.

Cuando en una película dos personajes de compleja psique están juntos pareciera que el uno compite con el otro , aquí tengo un observación muy personal y es que mientras uno es ellos es llamado Maestro pareciera que este envidia de cierta forma la libertad de su protegido, de emocionarse y reír o insultar a las personas, pareciera que el maestro es el que está preso dentro del propio castillo que el ha construido, a su vez, la fragilidad mental de Freddie hasta cierto se convierte en fortaleza, para poder lidiar con la pérdida de lo que se suponía debió ser un futuro diferente, esto lo mantiene cautivo dentro de un trauma, volver a vivir después de lo que vivió por culpa de la guerra y sentir el placer de descansar al lado de alguien amado parece imposible para él.

A veces pienso que aunque la academia de cine tienen sus aciertos y desaciertos, uno de los más obvios es no haberle dado un Oscar a Joaquin Phoenix por esta interpretación mucho antes que el Joker es decir, son tantas las interpretaciones magistrales que nos ha dado este actor, que parece increíble que no haya sido galardonado antes con una estatuilla de mejor actor en tantas películas donde ha hecho un trabajo impecable, desde la forma de hablar, posarse, caminar, los gestos , su forma de mirar y sus risa, son todas actuaciones tan sensibles y me conmueve mucho. Solo me queda decir que vean la película si no lo han hecho para que disfruten de su actuación.
