A mí me gustan las películas de vampiros y, bueno, me encantará traerles una película oscura, todo un clásico del mundo de los vampiros. Esta se llama Nosferatu, es la película más nueva del 2024, y ahora les cuento aquí de qué se trata. Vamos a ello, sin más.
Aquí, en esta película, me ha impresionado que es otra historia diferente. Todo el ambiente, la iluminación se da en una gran oscuridad. La ciudad mayormente vamos a ver una ciudad europea.
Los acontecimientos suceden en la noche; todo es tenebroso, siniestro. Aquí la criatura no es bonita, es realmente un espectro de la sombra que tiene una obsesión con la mujer Ellen, y aquí me pregunto: ¿cómo un ser así puede tener un vínculo con una mujer?
Aquí recordemos que Nosferatu es una amenaza para la ciudad, algo peligroso, a diferencia de las otras de Drácula, que es una figura masculina de buen aspecto. Aquí Nosferatu representa el miedo, el temor, todo lo malo. Es algo diferente.
Orlok, como les conté, así se llama la criatura. Es un ser muy diferente. Con el tiempo va evolucionando su fascinación por la mujer Ellen. Además, la mujer tiene alucinaciones con él porque sueña con la criatura. Esto es algo como si los dos estuvieran destinados a enfrentarse. Aquí hace que la mujer comience a sentir un terror por él, porque sabe que no son simples alucinaciones lo que le sucede.
El castillo de Orlok es donde ninguna persona quiere ir. Todos los habitantes de la película que vivían cerca le temían, no querían saber nada de él. También sabían que a todos los que hacían contacto con él o con el castillo les caía mala suerte. Además, era un temor ir a ese castillo. Aquí vamos a ver que la chica Ellen tiene un matrimonio con Thomas. Aquí la chica todavía no ha comentado lo que le pasa o bien lo que le sucede. Aún no ha ocurrido a niveles intensos como para que fuera una preocupación.
Lo relaciona con sueños o pesadillas, pero aquí el esposo va a ir a tierras de Orlok para saber qué está sucediendo y, pues, sabe que no le espera nada bueno, además de tener malas referencias oscuras del lugar. Creo que se arma de valor porque quiere ayudar a su amada Ellen.
El profesor Albin Eberhart von Franz, interpretado por Willem Dafoe, es el que le ayuda a Ellen y al esposo a interpretar todo lo que está pasando, porque tiene mucha experiencia lidiando con lo sobrenatural y la amenaza del vampiro.
Además, ya ha tenido contacto con lo sobrenatural. Aquí, esta persona le ayuda a armar estrategias para vencer o pelear con toda la oscuridad que se avecina, porque sabe que este problema no es solo de la chica, sino que, si Orlok llega a la ciudad, toda la población va a estar en peligro de la peste del gran vampiro y sabe que pueden caer muchas muertes o maldiciones.
Prácticamente todos los personajes quedan involucrados en pensar cómo hacer frente a la amenaza. Quieren hacer que se vaya de la ciudad o, al menos, que no haya más muertes, porque saben que la presencia del vampiro es una plaga.
Aquí recordemos que lo veremos a él con una presencia fea, cadavérica, no como un vampiro humano, sino como una bestia, algo oscuro. Por eso el temor de todos al verlo, porque saben que cuando sale de su castillo, esta peste quiere hacer el mal a todos.
Ademas que la ciudad se llena de ratas o muertes algo muy terrible esta pasando y todos estan para solucionar esto no va a ser tarea facil ademas el profesor no habia experimentado este terror contra el vampiro
El vampiro está obsesionado con Ellen y ya está cerca de ella. Aquí, en la película, verás qué pasa en la historia, la ciudad gótica, cómo es el vampiro, podrás conocer las estrategias que se utilizan para pelear contra lo oscuro, el miedo que sienten las personas al estar en presencia de Orlok y también la historia completa de un clásico que es el más nuevo que trajeron a la pantalla. Fue estrenado en 2024.

Lo que no me gusto:
Vamos a hacer una crítica a la película. Bueno, lo que no me gustó fue la duración de la película, es demasiado tiempo, más de dos horas. También no me gustaron algunos aspectos similares a la película de Drácula, pues relacionado al castillo, al vampirismo. Lo único diferente es que aquí no se llama Drácula, es Nosferatu, una criatura del mal.
También puede que sea más una película de suspenso. Si esperas una película que dé demasiado miedo, no creo que sea esta. Me parece que esta tiene más historia, te mantiene atento a todo lo que está pasando alrededor.
No me gustó la conexión de Ellen y Orlok. No podía comprender cómo una criatura como él se pudiera enamorar de ella, porque salía en sus sueños. Además, ella ya estaba casada y lo que hace es traer tragedia. Desde que sintió los sueños, la mujer hizo que buscaran la forma de solucionar la enfermedad de Ellen.
otro punto que es demasiados dialogos o muy tardado para presentar el climax de la pelicula hay pocos momentos de sustos, o miedos esta pelicula quedo a deber en cuanto a miedo.
En lo personal, pues, me agradó ver la película porque me gusta todo lo relacionado con vampiros. Creo que por aquí les traeré más de este género, pero diferentes películas, otros actores y otros aprendizajes que les traeré más adelante.

I really like vampire movies and, well, I'd love to bring you a dark film, a true classic from the world of vampires. This one is called Nosferatu, the newest version from 2024, and now I'll tell you what it's all about. Let's get right into it.
Here in this movie, I was impressed by how it tells a different story. The entire atmosphere and lighting take place in deep darkness. The setting is mostly a European city.
The events take place at night; everything is sinister and gloomy. Here, the creature is not attractive—it is truly a specter of the shadows that has an obsession with a woman named Ellen. This made me wonder: how can a creature like that share such a link with a woman?
Let's remember that Nosferatu represents a threat to the city, something dangerous—unlike other Dracula adaptations where he is depicted as a handsome male figure. Here, Nosferatu embodies fear, dread, and pure evil. It offers a fresh perspective.
Orlok, as I mentioned, is the name of the creature. He is a very distinct entity. Over time, his fascination with Ellen continues to evolve. Furthermore, she experiences hallucinations about him because she dreams of the creature. It feels as if both are destined to confront each other. This causes her to feel an overwhelming dread, knowing that what she is experiencing are not mere hallucinations.
Orlok's castle is a place no one wishes to visit. All the local residents living nearby feared him and wanted nothing to do with him. They also knew that anyone who came into contact with him or his castle was cursed with bad luck. Visiting that castle brought pure terror—it stands for fear, death, and it is where Orlok dwells.

In the film, we see that Ellen is married to Thomas. At this point, she hasn't mentioned what is happening to her yet, as it hasn't escalated to an intense level that would cause immediate alarm.
She initially attributes it to strange dreams or nightmares, but her husband eventually travels to Orlok's lands to find out what is going on—knowing full well that nothing good awaits him there, given the dark rumors surrounding the place. I believe he builds up courage out of his desire to help his beloved Ellen.
Professor Albin Eberhart von Franz, played by Willem Dafoe, is the one who helps Ellen and her husband interpret everything that is taking place, drawing from his extensive experience dealing with the supernatural and the threat of the vampire.
He has had previous encounters with supernatural forces. He helps them craft strategies to fight off the impending darkness, understanding that this isn't just Ellen's issue; if Orlok reaches the city, the entire population will be at risk from the vampire's plague, leading to widespread death and misfortune.
Practically all characters get drawn into figuring out how to confront this threat. They aim to drive him away from the city or at least prevent further deaths, recognizing that the vampire's presence acts like a plague.
Let's keep in mind that he appears grotesque and cadaverous—not like a human-like vampire, but as a dark, beastly entity. That is why everyone fears him upon sight, as his departure from the castle signals malicious intent toward all.
Furthermore, the city becomes infested with rats and death; something truly terrible is unfolding, and everyone is trying to solve it. It won't be an easy task, especially since even the professor hadn't faced terror quite like this vampire before.
The vampire is obsessed with Ellen and is drawing close to her. When you watch the movie, you'll see how the story unfolds, the gothic city setting, the nature of the vampire, the strategies used to fight the darkness, the fear people feel around Orlok, and the complete story of a classic brought back to the screen in 2024.

What I didn't like:
Let's move on to a review of the movie. What I didn't like was the runtime; it felt too long, running over two hours. I also didn't care for some aspects that felt overly similar to traditional Dracula movies regarding the castle and vampirism elements—the main difference being the name, Nosferatu, an evil creature.
It leans more toward being a suspense film. If you are expecting a movie filled with intense scares, this might not be it. It focuses more on storyline and keeping you attentive to everything happening around the plot.
I wasn't a fan of the connection between Ellen and Orlok. I couldn't wrap my head around how a creature like him could fall in love with her just because she appeared in his dreams. Besides, she was already married, and it ultimately brought tragedy. Ever since those dreams began, they were forced to seek a way to cure Ellen's affliction.
Another point is that there is too much dialogue and it takes a long time to build up to the movie's climax. There are very few jump scares or terrifying moments, so it fell short in terms of actual horror.
On a personal level, I still enjoyed watching it because I love everything related to vampires. I plan on bringing you more reviews from this genre—exploring different films, actors, and insights in future posts.
