¡Hola amigos! Hoy me paso por acá para traerles la reseña de una película que estaba ansiosa por ver, se trata de la remake de este clásico de terror vampírico: Nosferatu. Seguro que más de uno conoce la historia de este mítico vampiro, pero de todos modos, acá les va la trama.
Hello friends! Today I'm dropping by to bring you the review of a movie I was eager to see, it's the remake of this vampire horror classic: Nosferatu. I'm sure more than one of you know the story of this mythical vampire, but anyway, here's the plot.
Trama - Plot
La historia sigue a Thomas y Ellen, un joven matrimonio que intenta progresar en la vida. Thomas es un agente de bienes raíces y su jefe le pide que vaya a visitar a un conde bastante excéntrico para firmar el contrato de una vivienda que compró en la ciudad donde se encuentran ellos. Así empieza este viaje, donde Ellen le advierte que no vaya porque podría morir, ya que ella tiene visiones de este monstruo y la catástrofe que desatara en su camino para llegar hasta ella y sellar el pacto que establecieron hace años.
The story follows Thomas and Ellen, a young married couple trying to get ahead in life. Thomas is a real estate agent and his boss asks him to go visit a rather eccentric count to sign the contract for a house he bought in the town where they are located. Thus begins this journey, where Ellen warns him not to go because he could die, as she has visions of this monster and the catastrophe he will unleash on his way to get to her and seal the pact they established years ago.
Reseña - Review
Estaba con muchas ganas de ver esta película y quedé muy satisfecha con lo que encontré. Les tengo que confesar que no vi ninguna de las versiones anteriores así que no puedo comparar, pero me pareció muy buena. Una trama muy acertada para los tiempos que corren y una historia cautivadora y atrapante a pesar de sus años. Tengo el libro pendiente desde hace tiempo y ver esta película me dieron más ganas de leerlo, así que espero hacerlo pronto para descubrir la trama original.
I was really looking forward to see this movie and I was very satisfied with what I found. I have to confess that I didn't see any of the previous versions so I can't compare, but I thought it was very good. A very accurate plot for the times and a captivating and gripping story despite its years. I have had the book pending for a long time and seeing this movie made me want to read it even more, so I hope to do it soon to discover the original plot.
La historia tiene ese terror gótico que le suele gustar a muchos y cada escenario, fotografía y planos me cautivaron por completo. Siento que cada escena tuvo su magia y me transportaron a aquellos años donde se especulaba con las enfermedades, los delirios, las posesiones y los mitos. No dejó nada librado al azar, todo estuvo adaptado a aquellos antiguos tiempos y las viejas creencias, sin dejar de lado a los escépticos e incrédulos. Me metí de lleno en la historia y su época.
The story has that gothic horror that many like and every scene, photograph and shot completely captivated me. I feel that every scene had its magic and transported me to those years where speculation about diseases, delusions, possessions and myths. Nothing was left to chance, everything was adapted to those ancient times and old beliefs, without leaving aside the skeptics and unbelievers. I got right into the story and its era.
Las actuaciones me gustaron un montón, la de Lily-Rose Depp me fascinó, hizo una muy buena interpretación de su papel de doncella poseída por este monstruo de cuentos de terror como lo es Drácula. Y obviamente la interpretación de este vampiro también me encantó. El hecho de que no se viera tanto y causará terror a través de su voz, su respiración y su sombra, fue increíble. Algunas escenas me repelieron un poco y me dejaron impactada, pero me parecieron acertadas para la historia que estaban contando.
I liked the performances a lot, Lily-Rose Depp's fascinated me, she did a very good interpretation of her role as a maiden possessed by this monster of horror stories like Dracula. And obviously I also loved the interpretation of this vampire. The fact that she didn't look so much and caused terror through her voice, her breathing and her shadow, was incredible. Some scenes repelled me a bit and left me shocked, but I thought they were spot on for the story they were telling.
Es una película que me gustó muchísimo desde el principio hasta el final, a pesar de que duró un poco más de 2 horas, no la sentí pesada para nada. Me pareció una pieza maravillosa. La verdad que quedé encantada y no me pasa muy seguido esto, con decirles que me dieron ganas de verla de nuevo. Así que bueno, si no la vieron se las recomiendo porque vale la pena.
It's a movie that I liked very much from the beginning to the end, even though it lasted a little more than 2 hours, I didn't feel it was heavy at all. I thought it was a wonderful piece. The truth is that I was delighted and this doesn't happen to me very often, to tell you that I felt like watching it again. So, if you haven't seen it, I recommend it because it's worth it.
