¡Hola amigos! Hoy me paso por acá para traerles la reseña de una película que vi el fin de semana pasado llamada Together: juntos hasta la muerte.
Hello, friends! Today I'm stopping by to bring you a review of a movie I saw last weekend called Together.
Trama - Plot
En esta historia conoceremos a una pareja que decide mudarse al bosque porque ella consiguió un nuevo trabajo como maestra en una escuela del lugar. Sin embargo, su relación no marcha bien y al llegar a ese lugar Tim comienza a tener visiones acerca de un pasado que quiere olvidar. En una excursión por el bosque, la pareja cae abajo de la tierra y encuentran una especie de cueva con objetos extraños. En un momento deciden tomar agua de un estanque que hay allí y ahí comienzan los problemas. Fuerzas que no conocen los obligarán a estar juntos de la manera más espeluznante y menos imaginada.
In this story, we meet a couple who decide to move to the woods because she got a new job as a teacher at a local school. However, their relationship is not going well, and when they arrive at their new home, Tim begins to have visions about a past he wants to forget. On an excursion through the woods, the couple falls underground and finds a kind of cave with strange objects. At one point, they decide to drink water from a pond there, and that's when the problems begin. Forces unknown to them will force them to stay together in the most terrifying and unimaginable way.
Reseña - Review
Una película de terror que me pareció bastante bien. No es para nada predecible en ciertos aspectos, pero es un poco desconcertante. De nuevo, se agarran de una especie de culto religioso para hacer una trama rebuscada que al final no ofrece una mayor profundidad de por qué sucede lo que sucede. Pero bueno, ya sabemos que a estas películas no hay que buscarles mayores explicaciones, lo mejor es disfrutarlas sin pensar demasiado.
I thought this horror movie was pretty good. It's not predictable at all in certain aspects, but it is a little confusing. Once again, they use a kind of religious cult to create a convoluted plot that ultimately fails to offer any greater insight into why things happen the way they do. But hey, we all know that you shouldn't look for deeper explanations in these movies; it's best to just enjoy them without thinking too much.
En ese sentido es bastante entretenida, logró captar mi atención y me mantuvo atrapada lo que duró. Creo que la historia tenía potencial para más y un poco me gustó que logrará sorprenderme al final porque no me esperaba lo que pasó. Es bastante curioso el mal que aqueja a esta pareja, ya que sus cuerpos son atraídos mutuamente como si quisieran fusionarse y convertirse en una sola persona. Si la ven me van a entender.
In that sense, it's quite entertaining. It managed to capture my attention and kept me hooked for as long as it lasted. I think the story had potential for more, and I kind of liked that it managed to surprise me at the end because I didn't expect what happened. The affliction that plagues this couple is quite curious, as their bodies are drawn to each other as if they want to merge and become one person. If you watch it, you'll understand what I mean.
Por momentos hasta da un poco de impresión ver cómo se pegan sus pieles y hay una escena bastante cringe al respecto jajaja. Pero bueno, a ellos no les pareció raro en un principio hasta que al final lo tuvieron que padecer en carne propia y ahí es cuando intentarán descubrir qué es lo que pasó. Aunque, no sé si me convenció mucho el final. Fue interesante y para nada predecible, pero todavía no estoy segura de sí me gustó del todo.
At times, it's a little shocking to see how their skin sticks together, and there's a pretty cringe-worthy scene about it, ha ha ha. But anyway, they didn't think it was strange at first, until they finally had to suffer it themselves, and that's when they try to find out what happened. Although, I'm not sure I was convinced by the ending. It was interesting and not at all predictable, but I'm still not sure if I liked it entirely.
De todos modos, es una película como mucho llamativa que sirve para pasar el rato y quizá los atrape. No esperen mucho y déjense sorprender. La vi sin esperar nada y al final no estuvo tan mal, se dejó ver. Creo que tiene una buena metáfora acerca de las relaciones afectivas y de encontrar a aquella persona que nos completa por decirlo de alguna manera. Así que si les llama la atención les recomiendo que la vean y saquen sus propias conclusiones. Hay detalles que no me convencieron, pero es pasable y la disfrute de igual manera.
In any case, it's a very eye-catching film that's good for passing the time and might just hook you. Don't expect too much and let yourself be surprised. I watched it without any expectations, and in the end, it wasn't so bad; it was watchable. I think it has a good metaphor about emotional relationships and finding that person who completes us, so to speak. So, if it catches your attention, I recommend you watch it and draw your own conclusions. There are details that didn't convince me, but it's passable, and I enjoyed it anyway.
