Hello, how is everyone in the Scrooble Life community? Today I want to bring you a song that is a total classic in the world of anime and sports. This song has lyrics that, when I read them, inspire me so much.
In addition, it mentions a topic that I really like: personal growth, overcoming mountains, being perseverant, and continuing to overcome obstacles. Put drum sounds here, hehe. Well, the song I'm referring to is Dragon Screamer, by DA PUMP. Yes, this song is from the Captain Tsubasa opening!
So that we know more about the group DA PUMP: ISSA (Hentona Issa), Shinobu (Shinobu Miyara), Yukinari (Yukinari Tamaki), and Ken (Ken Okumoto). It was a quartet that stood out in the 1990s and 2000s. They combined rap and hip hop music, and they danced very well.
This group, now imagine, was the creator of the great hit called Dragon Screamer, the opening song of Captain Tsubasa. It is a song that I listen to when I need motivation or when I have had bad days. It is one of my favorites, although, to be honest with you, I don't understand the lyrics in Japanese. I like to see what it says in Spanish.
This song represents for me, as a soccer fan, everything that Oliver Atom went through in the Captain Tsubasa series. From the moment he entered the academy to play with his friends, he was improving his skills with the ball. Also, along the way, all of his friends improved in soccer.
He met rivals that were very difficult to defeat, from Benji Price, Steve Hyuga, Carlos Santana, Juan Díaz, to Karl-Heinz Schneider. He knew teams from Niupi to Brancos. A whole path that he lived through difficulties, challenges, many goals, and adrenaline. This series combines all of that; it is something unique for soccer, and the song represents Oliver's story of overcoming rivals with the strength of a dragon.
Well, the memories of the song bring me back to when I watched Oliver in the series fight to be the best. What I liked the most was the struggle with Steve Hyuga and Benji Price. Although at first they are rivals because they play in different teams, then I was thrilled when they played to represent the nation of Japan on the same team.
And well, I also listened to the song when I went to play soccer. It was like an adrenaline shot for when I was going to play soccer. Even nowadays I listen to it when I am writing on Hive.
The song also mentions the importance of overcoming obstacles, how difficult it can be to reach the top, but also how, when we do our part, all dreams come true or become a reality.
Here I remember that Oliver found it difficult to face Benji, he couldn't score a goal against him and, despite the difficulty, he didn't give up. He knew that his path was to train with dedication and passion to be better in his skills and, well, in the series we will be able to understand everything that happens and what he does to fight to be the best.
One of the reasons that motivates me to listen to Dragon Screamer is the lyrics. As I mentioned, it states that the path to overcoming obstacles is oneself and that goals may seem far away, but every step one takes brings one closer and closer to what one wants. Yes, this is something that motivates me to listen to it. Also, the song has a catchy rhythm with a lot of energy.
As you can see, also, if you listen to the song, you can see that Oliver fights with all his rivals to have possession of the ball. He also makes several passes with the ball, showing very advanced skills.
He can be seen in his prime when he appears in the video for Dragon Screamer, having already reached many games in soccer, playing against the best, also because I see rivals that are very strong. Also, the song makes allusion to keep battling in difficult times with the strength of a dragon.
There is a question that catches my attention and, well, I start to analyze it: do you think talent is enough? Well, if you watch the first episode of Captain Tsubasa, you can see Oliver who, since he was a child, liked to play and spend time with the ball. It could be what he did most with his time: practicing his ball control.
Continuing with the series, he is going to face many challenges and rivals, and I think that makes his talent build up like a diamond. Although if you think whether he would have reached the same destination if he hadn't trained or faced the toughest rivals, yes, these are questions to reflect on. And, well, in the series you will be able to understand better.
Well, my perception has indeed changed when analyzing the song's lyrics, because I see that talent, dedication, effort, and keeping up the fight are skills that are not only required in sports, but also for life itself, when one wants to reach a goal or arrive at a destination. Well, thank you all for reading my analysis of the song Dragon Screamer, by DA PUMP.
See you very soon here, in the Scrooble Life community, with another post, which will be scary or action-packed, hehehe. The post, well, you will see it soon. Greetings and may all your goals come true.
