Is a 1955 Italian film directed by Federico Fellini. The title translates into English as "The Swindle".

The film follows the lives of a group of con men who con unsuspecting people out of their money.

The protagonist, played by Broderick Crawford, is an experienced and unscrupulous con man named Augusto.

As the plot unfolds, Augusto faces the consequences of his actions and begins to question his lifestyle.

Fellini, known for his distinctive visual style and his exploration of marginal characters, presents a raw and realistic view of the life of hustlers.

The film deals with themes of redemption, morality and the internal struggles of the characters.

"Il Bidone" is considered one of Fellini's masterpieces and is praised for its powerful narrative and the convincing performances of the cast.

It is a bleak look at society and human morality.

It was nominated for the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 1955, although it did not win the main prize. However, the film did win the Best Director award for Federico Fellini at that festival.

In addition, "Il Bidone" was nominated for a BAFTA Award in the Best Foreign Film category in 1957.
