It is the story of a man who falls from a fifty-storey building. To reassure himself as he falls, he keeps telling himself: so far so good, so far so good, so far so good.... so far so good.

But it's not the fall that's important, it's the landing".

I'll just say that; it's a masterpiece.

In my personal opinion. It's exceptional, the script, the direction, the performances....

Director Kassovitz explores and captures the hatred between social classes, highlighting the problems of social development, trapped in a purely racist scenario, with overt and covert systems, neglect of institutions, crime, harassment and abuse of power by the state towards people living in the suburbs of Paris.

The events of the 24 hours after a riot, from the perspective of three young people living in the French suburbs.
