Hello to all the community of The Anime Realm, I hope you feel great, today I want to talk about an anime a little bit out of the usual and is that the vast majority of anime fans are used to seeing adaptations of mangas (or graphic novels) only from Japan, if you know that in South Korea are also made mangas (or better known as Manhwa), being two of my favorites of this style Kami no Tou and DICE: The Cube that Changes Everything and when I saw that the online anime platform Crunchyroll decided to adapt Kami no Tou for me was something really great, so today I want to talk a little about their adaptation to the anime and a little about their Manhwa.
Kami no Tou as I told you before is a Manhwa from South Korea, made and drawn by Lee Jong Hui and is published in Weebtoon format by the Korean portal Naver and has been published since 2010, with 4 volumes (each one carrying a story arc). Its adaptation to the anime was done by Crunchyroll in 2020 and had 13 episodes (which adapt the first arc of the story) and if you wait for your second season also counted for both its opening and for its ending with the South Korean band Stray Kids (its opening is called TOP which I really think is great and its ending is called SLUMP).
The story of this anime introduces us to Bam, a guy who since he can remember was alone in a cave, until one day a girl named Rachel appeared in it, from that moment Bam considers Rachel as his light and only wanted to make her happy, one day Rachel decides to leave Bam and enter the Tower of God (Kami no Tou) to seek his greatest desire since it is said that whoever climbs this tower will find wealth, As his fame and greatest dreams come true, Bam, desperate to find Rachel, unwillingly forces his way into the tower and the dangers and challenges it will bring to him, no matter what, Bam is determined not only to find his friend again, but to understand why she has left him.
His adaptation to the anime has remained very faithful to the original material and is that despite only having 4 volumes has a lot of material to adapt, I personally reached the first chapters of the 3rd volume so I could leave some spoilers of what comes to the anime hahaha, but if you are really interested in seeing something with a different style than the anime you always see this is one that I recommend without thinking much about it since not only the type of drawing they use in the webcomic (which was also taken in a great way for the anime) the development of the characters and everything that the tower hides and possesses is something great.
To finish this post I can only add that I hope you give a chance not only to this great anime but also to your webcomic and DICE, believe me you are not going to regret a second because both have an incredible quality and a story that can face a good Japanese manga, if you have already seen the anime or read the webcomic let me know in the comments and any recommendation from manhwas will be well received by me, I hope you feel great and we will see each other again.

Hola a toda la comunidad de The Anime Realm, espero que se encuentre genial, hoy quiero hablarles de un anime un poco fuera de lo usual y es que la gran mayoría de los fanáticos del anime estamos acostumbrados a ver adaptaciones de mangas (o novelas gráficas) solamente de japón, si saber que en Corea del Sur también se realizan mangas (o mejor conocidos como Manhwa), siendo dos de mis favoritas de este estilo Kami no Tou y DICE: The Cube that Changes Everything y cuando vi que la plataforma de anime online Crunchyroll decidió adaptar Kami no Tou para mi fue algo realmente genial, así que quiero hoy hablarles un poco de su adaptación al anime y un poco de su Manhwa.
Kami no Tou como les comente anteriormente es un Manhwa proveniente de Corea del Sur, hecho y dibujado por Lee Jong Hui y es publicado en formato Weebtoon por el portal coreano Naver y lleva siendo publicado desde el 2010, contando con 4 volúmenes (cada uno de estos llevando un arco de la historia). su adaptación al anime fue de la mano de Crunchyroll en el 2020 y contó con 13 episodios (los cuales adaptan el primer arco de la historia) y si espera su segunda temporada ademas contó tanto para su opening como para su ending con la banda sur-coreana Stray Kids (su opening se llama TOP el cual en serio me parece genial y su ending lleva el nombre SLUMP).
La historia de este anime nos presenta a Bam un chico que desde que tiene uso de razón se encontraba solo en una cueva, hasta que un día una chica llamada Rachel apareció en esta, desde ese momento Bam considera a Rachel como su luz y solo deseaba hacerla feliz, un dia Rachel decide abandonar a Bam y entrar a la Torre de Dios (Kami no Tou) para buscar su mayor deseo ya que se dice que quien escale esta torre encontrara riqueza, fama y sus mayores anhelos se harán realidad, Bam desesperado por volver a encontrar a Rachel forza sin pensarlo su entrada a la torre y por lo tanto a los peligros y retos que esta traerá para si, sin importar que Bam esta decidido a no solo volver a encontrar a su amiga sino a entender porque esta lo ha dejado abandonado.
Su adaptación al anime se ha mantenido muy fiel al material original y es que a pesar de solo poseer 4 volúmenes tiene una gran cantidad de material para adaptar, yo personalmente llegue hasta los primeros capítulos del 3er volumen así que podría dejarles unos spoilers de lo que viene para el anime jajaja, pero si realmente están interesados en ver algo con un estilo diferente a los animes que siempre ven este es uno que les recomiendo sin pensarlo mucho ya que no solo el tipo de dibujo que utilizan en el webcomic (que también de manera genial fue tomado para el anime) el desarrollo de los personajes y de todo lo que esconde y posee la torre es algo genial.
Para terminar este post solo puedo agregar que espero que le den una oportunidad no solo a este genial anime sino también a su webcomic y a DICE, créanme no se van a arrepentir ni un segundo ya que ambos tienen una calidad increíble y una historia que puede hacerle frente a un buen manga japones, si ya han visto el anime o han leído el webcomic déjenmelo saber en los comentarios y cualquier recomendación de manhwas sera bien recibida por mi parte, espero que se encuentren genial y nos veremos en otra oportunidad.
