Hello to all the community of The Anime Realm, I hope you feel great today, today I want to make a retro post about one of the best animes I've seen, despite being quite old, it's one of the best animes of its kind, and also one of the most recognized. Today I want to talk to you about Neon Genesis Evangelion.
This wick anime is not typical of its genre since it not only presents us with a post-apocalyptic universe in which half of the human population has been reduced by two incidents known as Impacts, which were made by some strange beings known as Angels, in order to confront these beings humanity created some giant robots known as Evas, which can only be piloted by teenagers, our protagonist Shinji Ikari was chosen to pilot Eva 01, Since his father is the president of NERV (organization in charge of building and managing the EVAS of Japan), Shinji will be chosen to avoid the attack of the Third Angel and despite first refusing to pilot this robot, he decides to do it, the anime will take us through the path of Shinji and the secret that the EVAS hide, the NERV organization and its relationship with the other 2 EVAS pilots, and that one of the strongest points of this anime is not only its great battles but also the psychological factor of our protagonist, of his choices and of his traumas.
The strongest point of Evangelion as I said before is not only the brilliant design of the EVAS and their battles against the angels (which are really great you can't deny that) but more than anything else to see the traumas that have generated in a young man the absence of his father and the mysterious death of his mother, besides that he will have to live with the other two EVAS pilots, face that his decisions can cost lives and how cold the choices made by the organization his father leads can be, plus we will discover a rather dark reality about NERV that will make this anime addictive and easy to watch its 26 episodes plus its first two eggs in a very short time.
This anime was made by the studio Gainax in 1995 (has 25 years hahaha) and had 26 episodes in addition to two eggs which were responsible for marking the end of the anime canon, and also has 3 rebuild (which are a remake with changes to the original history) which are really great and we have been waiting more than 6 years for the fourth egg and has been postponed since 2013 (it is said that could come out later this year or early 2021).
This anime also has one of the most epic openings that I know and that is A Cruel Angel Tesis from Yōko Takahashi represents in this song what this anime has to offer us (epic moments but also quite sad) and a soundtrack also typical of a work of art like this anime but we must make clear that it is not an anime for all audiences, because in addition to having a little gore its argument is quite deep.
This anime is one of my favorites and I think it has been the one I have seen more times haha (like 4 times) besides the fact that Eva 01 is my favorite fuse (and I would like to buy some of the great figures it has) and the mature tone, the soundtrack and its particular style has defined Neon Genesis Evangelion as a cult anime, I hope you like this post and let me know what you think, see you in the next post.

Hola a toda la comunidad de The Anime Realm, espero que hoy se encuentren genial, hoy quiero hacerles un post un poco retro, sobre uno de los mejores animes que he visto y es que a pesar de ser bastante viejo es uno de los mejores animes de su género además de los más reconocidos, hoy quiero hablarles de Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Este anime de mechas no es el típico de su género ya que no solo nos presenta un universo post apocalíptico en el que la mitad de la población humana ha sido reducida por dos incidentes conocidos como Impactos, los cuales fueron realizados por unos extraños seres conocidos como Angeles, para poder enfrentar a estos seres la humanidad creo unos robots gigantes conocidos como Evas, los cuales solo pueden ser piloteados por adolescentes, nuestro protagonista a Shinji Ikari fue elegido para pilotear el Eva 01, ya que su padre es el presidente de NERV (organización encargada de construir y manejas los EVAS de Japón), Shinji será elegido para evitar el ataque del Tercer Angel y a pesar de primero negarse a pilotear este robot, decide hacerlo, el anime nos llevará por la trayectoria de Shinji y el secreto que esconden los EVAS, la organización NERV y su relación con las otras 2 pilotos de los EVAS, y que uno de los puntos más fuertes de este anime no es solo sus geniales batallas sino el factor psicológico de nuestro protagonista, de sus elecciones y de sus traumas.
El punto fuerte de Evangelion como dije anteriormente no es solo el genial diseño de los EVAS y de las batallas de estos contra los Angeles (que realmente son genial no se puede negar eso) sino más que todo ver los traumas que han generado en un joven la ausencia de su padre y la misteriosa muerte de su madre, además de que deberá convivir con las otras dos pilotos de los EVAS, enfrentar que sus decisiones pueden costar vidas y lo frío que puede llegar a ser las elecciones tomadas por la organización que dirige su padre, además que iremos descubriendo una bastante oscura realidad sobre NERV que hará que este anime se vuelva adictivo y que sea fácil ver sus 26 episodios más sus dos primeras ovas en muy poco tiempo.
Este anime fue hecho por el estudio Gainax en el año 1995 (tiene ya 25 años jajaja) y contó con 26 episodios además de dos ovas las cuales se encargaron de marcar el final canon del anime, además lleva ya 3 rebuild (los cuales son un remake con cambios de la historia original) los cuales son realmente geniales y llevamos esperando más de 6 años por la cuarta ova ya que ha sido pospuesta desde el 2013 (se dice que podría salir a finales de este año o principios del 2021).
Este anime también tiene uno de los openings más épicos que conozco y es que A Cruel Angel Tesis de Yōko Takahashi representa en esta canción lo que este anime tiene para ofrecernos (momentos épicos pero también bastante triste) y un soundtrack también propio de una obra de arte como lo es este anime pero hay que dejar en claro que no es un anime para todo público, ya que además de tener un poco de gore su argumento es bastante profundo.
Este anime para mí es uno de mis favoritos y creo que ha sido el que más veces he re visto jaja (como 4 veces) además de que el EVA 01 es mi mecha favorito (y me gustaría comprar alguna de las geniales figuras que tiene) y es que el tono maduro, la banda sonora y su estilo tan particular ha definido a Neon Genesis Evangelion como un anime de culto, espero que esté post les guste y me dejen saber que les ha parecido, nos vemos en el próximo post.
