Hello to all the community of The Anime Realm today I came to talk about what for me is one of my favorite manga and which I was very enthusiastic about his adaptation to the anime (due to the modifications that made) but this disappointed me a lot because it does not do enough justice to a manga so great with Tokyo Ghoul.
Tokyo Ghoul is a horror manga Seinen made by Sui Ishida and it was first published in 2011 in Young Jump magazine, this manga had two seasons, Tokyo Ghoul being the first one with 14 volumes and finishing its publication in 2014 and Tokyo Ghoul: Re being the continuation of this one, started in 2014 and finished in 2018 and had 16 volumes, besides that it had several spin offs to tell the story of some important characters, it was taken to the anime by Pierrot studio (which really didn't do a very good job neither with the animation nor with the changes of the story) in 2014 and had 3 seasons and two eggs.
The story of this manga does not put the role of Ken Kaneki, a shy and withdrawn young university student who enjoys Takatsuki Sen's books and Anteiku's coffee, in the coffee shop he meets Rize Kamishiro, who enjoys the same books as him and when she invites Kaneki out he does not hesitate to accept, but nothing could be further from a date than what Rize plans to do with Kaneki, Since she is not a human but a Ghoul (beings with human appearance but who eat human flesh) and is determined to make Kaneki her dinner, but due to a suspicious accident Ken Kaneki is saved and will be converted into a half Ghoul, the manga will show us the path of this character adapting to his new life and the confrontations he will have against other Ghouls and humans of the ICC (Commission of Countermeasures Ghoul).
This manga is for those who prefer terror, suspense and above all a lot of gore, because this one has an industrial amount of blood and moments that are for all public, but don't think that it is only a gore manga, it has a character development and presentation that is at a great level and that is to see how each secondary character in some point becomes important for the story and how our protagonist will be passing and surpassing (or not haha) in addition that the drawing of Sui Ishida is really good.
His adaptation to the anime was losing my enthusiasm little by little because despite having an incredible opening (Unravel by TK From Ling Tosite Sigure) his animation was not of the best quality and had very drastic modifications in the story (even though the manga had already completed that arc), the biggest problem of this anime was that for the second season of the anime was made a restructuring almost completely the history of the manga and this left the vast majority of fans (including myself) very disappointed, his third season adapted more faithfully the manga but did not have a good animation and despite this after the disappointment of the second season its reception was not very good.
If you are manga fans and want to read something very interesting and that will keep you on the edge of each chapter (at least it's over because waiting for each chapter was a way to trigger my anxiety haha), I recommend you if you really want something more mature and with a lot of gore haha, I will not comment more on the manga as I hope to motivate you to give it a try, and if you already read it please leave me your opinion in the comments, I hope you feel great and see you in the next post.

Hola a toda la comunidad de The Anime Realm hoy he venido a hablarles de lo que para mí es uno de mis mangas favoritos y del cual tuve mucho entusiasmo por su adaptación al anime (debido a las modificaciones que le hicieron) pero está me decepcionó bastante ya que no le hace suficiente justicia a un manga tan genial con Tokyo Ghoul.
Tokyo Ghoul es un manga Seinen de horror hecho por Sui Ishida siendo este publicado por primera vez en 2011 en la revista Young Jump, este manga tuvo dos temporadas, siendo Tokyo Ghoul la primera contando con 14 tomos y finalizando su publicación en 2014 y Tokyo Ghoul: Re siendo la continuación de esta, empezado en el 2014 y termino en el 2018 y conto con 16 tomos, además de que conto con varios spin off para contar la historia de algunos personajes importantes, fue llevada al anime por el estudio Pierrot (el cual realmente no hizo un muy bien trabajo ni con la animación ni con los cambios de la historia) en el 2014 y conto con 3 temporadas y dos ovas.
La historia de este manga no pone el papel de Ken Kaneki, un joven universitario retraído y tímido el cual disfruta de los libros de Takatsuki Sen y el café de Anteiku, en el café conoce a Rize Kamishiro, la cual disfruta de los mismos libros que él y cuando ella invita a salir a Kaneki este no duda en aceptar, pero nada podría estar más lejos de parecer una cita que lo que Rize planea hacer con Kaneki, ya que está no es una humana sino un Ghoul (seres con apariencia humana pero que comen carne humana) y está decidida a hacer de Kaneki su cena, pero debido a un sospechoso accidente Ken Kaneki se salva y se verá convertido en un medio Ghoul, el manga nos mostrará el camino de este personaje adaptándose a su nueva vida y a los enfrentamientos que tendrá contra otros Ghouls y humanos de la CCI (comisión de contra medidas Ghoul).
Este manga es para aquellos que prefieran el terror, suspenso y sobre todo mucho gore, ya que este cuenta con una cantidad industrial de sangre y de momentos que son para todo público, pero no crean que es solo un manga gore, tiene un desarrollo de personajes y presentación de los mismos que está a un nivel genial y es que ver cómo cada personaje secundario en algún punto llega a ser importante para la historia y como nuestro protagonista irá pasando y superando (o no jaja) además que el dibujo de Sui Ishida es realmente bueno.
Su adaptación al anime fue perdiendo de a poco mi entusiasmo ya que a pesar de tener un opening increíble (Unravel de TK From Ling Tosite Sigure) su animación no fue de la mejor calidad y tuvo modificaciones muy drásticas en la historia (a pesar que el manga ya había completado ese arco), el mayor problema de este anime fue que para la segunda temporada del anime se hizo una reestructuración casi completa de la historia del manga y esto dejo a la gran mayoría de fans (incluyendome) muy decepcionados, su tercera temporada adapto de manera más fiel el manga pero no contó con una buena animación y a pesar de esto luego de decepción de la segunda temporada su recepción no fue muy buena.
Si son fanáticos del manga y desean leer algo muy interesante y que los mantendrá al filo de cada capítulo (al menos ya finalizó porque esperar cada capítulo era una forma de disparar mi ansiedad jaja), se los recomiendo si en serio quieren algo más maduro y con mucho gore jaja, no les comentaré más del manga ya que espero poder motivarlos a que le den una oportunidad, y si ya lo leyeron por favor déjenme su opinión en los comentarios, espero que se encuentren genial y nos vemos en el próximo post.
