I've already started season 14 of Supernatural, I'm almost out of that prison, and as a reward I let myself watch Belle, I didn't expect this movie to surprise me so much, or to make me cry, or to make me listen to the soundtrack on loop while I do anything else. Belle is many many things, a movie about secrets, trauma, about love, it has science fiction, it has fantasy, and even a bit of comedy in it, and while that makes everything overwhelming or makes us not get used to what we are watching, it doesn't stop it from being amazing and getting to move us and move us with intensity.
Suzu is a high school student from a rural area far from the city, ignored or isolated from the world by choice, until one day she discovers U, a virtual world where she becomes the most famous person thanks to her songs, Belle, is called her avatar, who allows her to be everything she would like to be, But she discovers that it is not like that, because with the appearance of a beast, another avatar of U, she discovers that there is a lot she has to work on and develop as a person, and we will be there with her, watching her grow and become the best version of her.
Ya comencé la temporada 14 de Supernatural, ya casi salgo de esa prisión, y como recompensa me dejé ver Belle, no esperaba que esta película me sorprendiera tanto, o que me hiciera llorar, o que me pusiera a escuchar el soundtrack en loop mientras hago cualquier otra cosa. Belle es muchas muchas cosas, una película sobre secretros, sobre traumas, de amor, tiene ciencia ficción, tiene fantasía, hasta un poco de comedia tiene, y si bien eso hace que todo sea abrumador o que no nos acostumbremos a lo que estamos viendo, no impide que sea increíble y llegue a emocionarnos y movernos con intensidad.
Suzu es una estudiante de secundaria de una zona rural lejos de la ciudad, ignorada o aislada del mundo por decisión propia, hasta que un día descubre U, un mundo virtual donde se convierte en la persona más famosa gracias a sus canciones, Belle, se llama su avatar, quien le permite ser todo lo que ella quisiera ser, pero descubre que no es así, pues con la aparición de una bestia, otro avatar de U, descubre que hay mucho en lo que tiene que trabajar y desarrollarse como persona, y ahí estaremos nosotres acompañándola, viéndola crecer y convertirse en la mejor versión de ella.

From the beginning the immersion in science fiction and fantasy is gigantic, that is, we are introduced to U, this virtual world where you can be who you are not in the real world, where you can do whatever you want, as long as it is legal and does not hurt anyone, and the best thing is that you can create your avatar and customize it as you want, from animals to mythological creatures, and that's up to you, and that amazed me, then comes the second part, the real world, and while this can be discouraging because not everything that happens in the movie will take place in U, we will not always see Belle, we will not always hear her sing and we will not be in the state of digital immersion that many people would like, and while many people did not like this second part, I loved it, they knew how to balance the incredible with something normal, which in the end ends up being incredible too, you just have to give it time to develop.
Lloré, horrible, cuando creía que no iba a seguir llorando, me volvían a lanzar a la cara una escena fuerte y tenía que comenzar a limpiarme los mocos de nuevo porque no aguantaba. Eso fue al final, pero igual quería decírselos desde este momento, es una advertencia, si son personas excesivamente emocionales como yo, van a llorar, o no, no sé, nunca se sabe, pero se los advierto, hay traumas que incluyen a madres, y es horrible, no se sale sin ningún rasguño de aquí.
Desde el inicio la inmersión en la ciencia ficción y la fantasia es gigante, es decir, nos presentan a U, este mundo virtual donde puedes ser quien no eres en el mundo real, donde puedes hacer lo que quieras, siempre y cuando sea legal y no le haga daño a nadie, y lo mejor es que puedes crear tu propio avatar y personalizarlo como te de la gana, desde animales a criaturas mitológicas, ya eso queda en ti, y eso me maravilló, luego viene la segunda parte, el mundo real, y si bien esto puede llegar a ser desalentador porque no todo lo que sucede en la película tendrá lugar en U, no siempre veremos a Belle, no siempre la escucharemos cantar y no estaremos en el estado de inmersión digital que muchas personas quisieran, y si bien esta segunda parte no les gustó a mucha gente, a mí me encantó, supieron cómo balancear lo increíble con algo normal, que al final termina siendo increíble también, solo hay que darle tiempo para que se desarrlle.

Suzu went through a very traumatic time when she was 6 years old, and after that she could never sing again, not even alone, at least things were like that until she joined U and created Belle, well from the first minute she managed to sing achieving fame and being one of the most known people on the platform, that gave her a confidence that Suzu didn't have, but that's just the beginning of all the new things she would dare to do, because as I told you, the appearance of that other beast-like avatar with whom Belle starts to relate will change everything, for better or worse, but it will change it, and the Suzu we know will grow up.
With so many stories or points of view of everything that is happening, it may feel that we do not connect with the events, that they lack authenticity or certainty, and no, it is not like that, each of the different things we are going to see is necessary, they show us that just as you can create a new life in a virtual world, there is still a life that is worth living outside of it, and that both are worth living, that neither denies the other, that both are valid, they relate, they teach and can improve each other.
No quiero decirles mucho porque quiero que conozcan a Suzu/Belle por su cuenta, pero sí les diré que en sus dos versiones, Suzu es increíble, la del mundo real o la virtual. Suzu pasó por un momento muy traumático cuando tenía 6 años, y después de eso ella no pudo volver a cantar nunca, ni siquiera sola, al menos las cosas eran así hasta que se unió a U y creó a Belle, pues desde el primer minuto logró cantar logrando la fama y siendo una de las personas más conocidas de la plataforma, eso le dio una confianza que no tenía a Suzu, pero eso es tan solo el principio de todas las cosas nuenvas que ella se atrevería a hacer, pues como les dije, la aparición de ese otro avatar tipo bestia con quien Belle comienza a relacionarse va a cambiar todo, para bien o para mal, pero lo cambiará, y la Suzu que conocemos crecerá.
Con tantas historias o puntos de vista de todo lo que está sucediendo puede llegar a sentirse que no conectamos con los eventos, que carecen de verosimilitud o certeza, y no, no es así, cada una de las cosas diferentes que vamos a ver son necesarias, nos demuestran que hay así como se puede crear una nueva vida en un mundo virtual, sigue existiendo una vida que vale la pena vivir fuera de ahí, y que ambos valen la pena, que ninguna niega a la otra, que ambas son válidas, se relacionan, enseñan y pueden mejorarse mutuamente.

Ya lloré con el final, les dije, y se los vuelvo a decir, lloré con el final. TODAS LAS CANCIONES SON EXCELENTES. Sí, lo grito sin signos de exclamación porque me provoca. Las letras, la voz, la música, todo, aunque busqué el soundtrack y me salieron versiones en inglés de las cacniones, cosa que no me gustó, pero ya me estoy acostumbrando a ellas, igual prefiero las origanales. Vayan a disfrutarlas.
El trailer está bien, dice mucho, pero a la vez confunde, es digno de la película, porque la película también confunde, nos dice algo y termine en otra cosa muy diferente, igual que el trailer, así que está bien. Vayan a disfrutar esta película, es refrescante, juvenil, con muy buenas canciones, con una mejor animación, una historia hermosa, y más enseñansas de las que nos podemos darnos cuenta.
