Esta publicación es de las que más ganas tenía de hacer justo desde el momento en que terminé de ver esta película. En lo particular siempre, toda la vida he sido fanático de Disney creo que desde que tengo memoria y es por eso que cada vez que sale algo nuevo en lo particular me sigue llamando mucho la atención.

This post is one of the ones I wanted to do the most right from the moment I finished watching this movie. In particular always, all my life I have been a fan of Disney I think for as long as I can remember and that is why every time something new comes out in particular it continues to draw my attention.

Raya es de esas películas que desde el momento que la anunciaron generó mucha expectativa creo que por la historia tan bonita e increíble que cuenta. Un filme lleno de aventura de principio a fin lo cual considero es su gran atractivo junto a los personajes tan diversos y cautivadores que tiene. Vamos entonces a hablar un poco acerca de Raya y el último dragón.

Raya is one of those films that, from the moment it was announced, generated a lot of expectation, I think because of the beautiful and incredible story it tells. A film full of adventure from beginning to end, which I consider to be its great appeal along with the diverse and captivating characters it has. So let's talk a bit about Raya and the last dragon.

Kumandra!

Esta historia comienza en Kumandra, un antiguo reino el cual está dividido en cinco territorios por motivo de ciertos hechos que ocurrieron en el pasado. Entonces es Raya, una guerrera en exceso valiente, es la encargada de empezar con la búsqueda de este último dragón con el fin de unir lo que una vez fue su hogar.

This story begins in Kumandra, an ancient kingdom which is divided into five territories due to certain events that occurred in the past. Then it is Raya, an exceedingly brave warrior, who is in charge of starting the search for this last dragon in order to unite what was once her home.

Para hacer el cuento corto, hace cientos de años los dragones y los humanos convivían en sana paz hasta el momento en que aparecieron unos terribles seres llamados "Druun" cuyo poder es convertir absolutamente en piedra. Ante esta amenaza estos dragones deciden sacrificarse y poner todos sus poderes en una piedra la cual serpa motivo de discordia y eventualmente la causa de separación de Kumandra.

To make a short story, hundreds of years ago dragons and humans lived together in healthy peace until the moment when some terrible beings called "Druun" appeared whose power is to turn absolutely to stone. Faced with this threat, these dragons decide to sacrifice themselves and put all their powers in a stone which will be the cause of discord and eventually the cause of separation from Kumandra.

Raya y Sisu!

Y es en ese momento cuando Raya decide emprender una gran búsqueda para encontrar a este ultimo dragón, Sisu, la cual la ayudará a lograr la unión deseada de todo su reino. Un viaje que está lleno de aventuras y muchas emociones que nos enseñará grandes lecciones de amistad, confianza y sobre todo esperanza.

And it is at that moment when Raya decides to undertake a great search to find this last dragon, Sisu, which will help her achieve the desired union of her entire kingdom. A journey that is full of adventures and many emotions that will teach us great lessons in friendship, trust and, above all, hope.

- Opinión.

La verdad es que esta película es una joya porque se sale del típico libreto de Disney en lo que a historias de princesas se refiere. Ciertamente es una película donde muestran a una mujer valiente, empoderada y capaz de hacer todo lo que se propone y eso está bien pero es mejor cuando la trama ayuda, trama que es muy madura y llena de acción.

The truth is that this movie is a gem because it is out of the typical Disney script when it comes to princess stories. Certainly it is a film where they show a brave, empowered woman capable of doing everything she sets out to do and that is fine but it is better when the plot helps, a plot that is very mature and full of action.

Otro plus es que como lo dije anteriormente, es una historia que se aleja un poco de lo romántico que muchas veces puede ser hasta predecible y nos lleva por unos caminos donde lo que predomina es la aventura y eso, en lo personal, es algo que me enganchó mucho. Hay que decir también que todo el trabajo de animación es increíble, tenía tiempo que no veía una película animada tan bien hecha. Junto a Soul, de las mejores últimamente.

Another plus is that as I said before, it is a story that moves away a bit from the romantic that can often be predictable and takes us along paths where what predominates is adventure and that, personally, is something that I was hooked a lot. It must also be said that all the animation work is incredible, I had not seen an animated film so well done for a long time. Along with Soul, one of the best lately.

Namaari!

Los personajes son excepcionales desde la protagonista, Raya, hasta los secundarios, la personalidad del dragón, la profundidad de la antagonista con un carácter bien marcado, etc. Namaari, es de esos personajes que a pesar de eso, de ser la contraparte, le da una fuerza impresionante a la historia de principio a fin. Las películas de Dinsey siempre dejan algún tipo de enseñanza y en esta oportunidad no fue la excepción, enseñanzas que giran en su mayoría alrededor de sus personajes así que especial atención a ello.

The characters are exceptional from the protagonist, Raya, to the secondary ones, the personality of the dragon, the depth of the antagonist with a well-marked character, etc. Namaari, is one of those characters that despite that, being the bad girl, gives an impressive strength to the story from beginning to end. Dinsey's films always leave some kind of teaching and this time it was no exception, teachings that revolve mostly around his characters so pay special attention to it.

Raya!

Si le diera una calificación a este film sería un sólido 9/10, en mi humilde opinión no merece menos. No le doy el 10 porque creo que no existen películas perfectas pero esta está muy cerca de serlo y siendo animada pues con más merito todavía.

If I gave a rating to this film it would be a solid 9/10, in my humble opinion it deserves no less. I do not give it 10 because I think there are no perfect movies but this one is very close to being so and being animated, with even more merit.

Que si recomiendo Raya? indudablemente que si, al 100%. Es una película que estoy seguro que gustará desde los más pequeños hasta lo más adultos y serios, vale la pena cada minuto de ella. Está disponible en el servicio de streaming de Disney Plus a través del Premier Access o en las salas de cines, estas ultimas dependiendo de cada país.

What if I recommend Raya? undoubtedly yes, 100%. It is a movie that I am sure you will like from the smallest to the most adult and serious, it is worth every minute of it. It is available on the Disney Plus streaming service through Premier Access or in theaters, the latter depending on each country.
