Wall Street Movie
I just re-watched the move Wall Street this afternoon, the Oliver Stone movie from the late 80's. I like the movie and how it looks at the greater financial system, it's values, and importance of placing the value of the deal above ALL else, including the law.
It also strikes me how some things that were mentioned in the movie have not changed at all. E.g. The US national debt being at an all time high. Some of the questions it asks, such as how much is enough is still a very valid question is not just a reflection of wall street or the financial system but society as a whole.
Who else has seen this movie, when was the last time you watched it? Perhaps it is time to watch it again.
