Should you watch this? I say hell yeah. I ignored it when I saw it last year and feel asleep to it, but giving it a second viewing, I think this will be a gem cherished by Superman fans for a long time. It takes place in an alternate universe where Superman is raised in the Soviet Union. The best part of this movie are his many enemies.
JFK
Not only does Superman make enemies with JFK, but many other world leaders throughout history who I won't spoil for you. The voices sounded really spot on.
Army
Superman is a Soviet alien with incredible power. Of course some in the different armies try to take him out
Air Force
No jet could take on the man of steel, but I loved the animations of the air battles.
Braniac
Superman makes Braniac his bitch in no time. You'll be surprised how dark this movie gets.
Batman
Batman is straight up evil in this universe and had some great ideas on how to kill Superman.
There are more enemies I could keep on listing and even some friends who are very emotional destructive to Superman, but I think this is a great movie and I don't want to give too much away. I hope you enjoy Superman: Red Son too.
