Sin lugar a dudas esta última serie de Marvel, She-hulk es la que más me ha gustado hasta ahora, ya estoy formando mi top 3 jajaja, el argumento que presenta me parece bastante sólido y además muy interesante, de hecho en este episodio el nuevo rol que la abogada Jenifer Walters va a asumir se va a definir, no obstante, este camino llevará sus etapas.
Conflicto de identidad
New York, Hamlet, los Ángeles, son ciudades estadounidenses que en el UCM ya se están acostumbrando a la presencia de superhéroes, pero se nota el especial gusto y temor a la vez que despierta la nueva superheroína puesto que se trata de la prima de Hulk, quien cuando se enoja simplemente "aplasta", no obstante, en este caso estamos ante una nueva presencia, no sólo por ser mujer sino también por el ambiente legal y laboral que le rodea, además de que muestra un mayor dominio - al menos en principio - de su nueva identidad.
Precisamente sobre su gusto personal respecto a lo que se ha transformado es donde nuestra protagonista mostrará su conflicto, pues, al mismo tiempo que las personas en general le aclaman como She-hulk es despedida de su empleo por lo mismo, de la misma manera es contratada no por ser Jenifer Walters sino por ser una superheroína. ¿Cómo no entrar en conflicto con una situación así?
Al final creo que ella aprenderá a conciliar estas dos facetas de su ser de manera exitosa, de hecho en este episodio una evolución al respecto se puede notar: empieza con no querer transformarse, luego a hacerlo por obligación para finalmente sentir gusto en esto, ya que también son muchas cosas en las que puede ayudar, incluso en el hogar como nos muestra una escena. Respecto a esta parte más íntima nos referiremos en enseguida.
Undoubtedly this last series of Marvel, She-hulk is the one I liked the most so far, I'm already forming my top 3 hahaha, the argument that presents seems to me quite solid and also very interesting, in fact in this episode the new role that the lawyer Jenifer Walters is going to assume will be defined, however, this path will take its stages.
Identity conflict
New York, Hamlet, Los Angeles, are American cities that in the UCM are already getting used to the presence of superheroes, but it is noted the special taste and fear at the same time that awakens the new superheroine since it is the Hulk's cousin, who when angry simply "crushes", however, in this case we are facing a new presence, not only for being a woman but also for the legal and work environment that surrounds her, besides showing a greater mastery - at least in principle - of her new identity.
Precisely about her personal taste regarding what she has transformed is where our protagonist will show her conflict, because, at the same time that people in general acclaim her as She-hulk she is fired from her job for the same, in the same way she is hired not for being Jenifer Walters but for being a superheroine. How not to get into conflict with such a situation?
In the end I think she will learn to reconcile these two facets of her being successfully, in fact in this episode an evolution in this regard can be noticed: it starts with not wanting to transform, then to do it by obligation to finally feel at ease in this, since there are also many things in which she can help, even at home as a scene shows us. Regarding this more intimate part we will refer in the following.
Entorno familiar
La serie nos muestra no sólo la cercana relación que existe entre She-hulk con Hulk en cuanto son primos sino también cómo su propia familia toma todo el asunto de tener otro superhéroe en medio de ellos. Como en toda familia hay de todo, unos se burlan de manera indirecta, otros están totalmente llenos de admiración y otros dan buenos consejos.
En este último grupo sin lugar a dudas está Bruce Banner que en todo momento busca no sólo comprender a su prima sino animarla, lo cual viene de maravilla porque él le habla desde su propia experiencia. Ahora bien, también hay que referirse a su padre que con un gesto muy particular le hace sentir que cuenta con su apoyo, lo cual le cae muy bien pues se sentía totalmente abrumada.
No quiero dejar de mencionar aquí a la amiga de She-hulk, Nikki, puesto que siempre está a su lado mostrando lo positivo de lo que le ha pasado y acompañandole para que desempeñe su nuevo rol de la mejor manera. De hecho, es gracias a ella que en el primer episodio se transforma para ayudar al tribunal que se encontraba en peligro, y aquí la seguiremos viendo a su lado.
Family environment
The series shows us not only the close relationship that exists between She-hulk and Hulk as they are cousins but also how his own family takes the whole issue of having another superhero in their midst. As in every family there is a little bit of everything, some tease in a roundabout way, others are totally full of admiration and others give good advice.
In the latter group is undoubtedly Bruce Banner who at all times seeks not only to understand his cousin but to encourage her, which comes in handy because he speaks from his own experience. Now, we must also refer to her father who with a very particular gesture makes her feel that she has his support, which suits her very well because she felt totally overwhelmed.
I don't want to forget to mention here She-hulk's friend Nikki, since she is always by his side showing the positive side of what has happened to him and accompanying him so that he can play his new role in the best way. In fact, it is thanks to her that in the first episode he transforms to help the court that was in danger, and here we will continue to see her by his side.
Una heroína al servicio de superhéroes
¿Qué será ahora de su vida? Es la pregunta que atormenta a Jennifer Walters luego de su transformación. ¿De qué le valió haber estudiado leyes sino tendrá la oportunidad de ejercer? Pues bien, he aquí donde me gusta el argumento que introducen, ella será abogada defensora de superhéroes, lo cual guarda relación con la situación actual de aparición constante de éstos.
De hecho, la firma que le contrata podrá jactarse siempre de haber creado la primera división de leyes para personas dotadas de superpoderes. Pero no todo podía ser tan sencillo, ya que el primer caso que tendrá entre sus manos será nada más y nada menos que "Abominación", el monstruo que una vez se enfrentó a Hulk, creado a base del suero de súper soldado, que ahora se encontraba en prisión pero ya estaba por salir.
Al principio, Jenifer tiene un debate interno sobre si tomar el caso, sobretodo por el conflicto que pudiese generar con su primo, pero ya aclarado este asunto, lo asume y así comienza una nueva etapa para su vida y para nosotros que seguimos estas producciones de Marvel pues siendo defensora de héroes seguramente podrá tener participación en otras tramas.
A heroine in the service of superheroes
What will become of her life now? This is the question that haunts Jennifer Walters after her transformation: what good is it to have studied law if she won't have the opportunity to practice? Well, this is where I like the argument that they introduce, she will be a lawyer defending superheroes, which is related to the current situation of their constant appearance.
In fact, the firm that hires her will always be able to boast of having created the first law division for people endowed with superpowers. But not everything could be so simple, since the first case she will have in her hands will be none other than "Abomination", the monster that once confronted the Hulk, created on the basis of the super soldier serum, who was now in prison but was about to be released.
At first, Jenifer has an internal debate about whether to take the case, especially because of the conflict that could generate with her cousin, but once this issue is clarified, she assumes it and thus begins a new stage for her life and for us who follow these Marvel productions because being a defender of heroes, she will surely be able to participate in other plots.
