Definitely our Netflix algorithm assumes that Jhoxiris and I are capable of watching anything 🤣 and wow, these eyes have gone through various genres, extravagances and even vulgarities that always leave us with our mouths open, because we think: How is it possible that someone thought of a script like that?... But don't worry, Tuca & Bertie is not a bad show, it's just a very psychedelic story that surprised me for being very bizarre, just like most animated series for adults.
Definitivamente nuestro algoritmo de Netflix asume que Jhoxiris y yo somos capaces de ver lo que sea 🤣 y vaya que estos ojos se han pasado por diversos géneros, extravagancias y hasta vulgaridades que siempre nos dejan con la boca abierta, porque pensamos: ¿Cómo es posible que alguien haya pensado en un guion así?... Pero no se preocupen, Tuca & Bertie no es un programa malo, solo es una historia muy psicodélica que me sorprendió por ser muy bizarra, igual que la mayoría de series animadas para adultos.
The story focuses on two female birds, a toucan named Tuca and another bird that I read is a thrush. I never imagined to see any tv series where the main character was a toucan with human bubbies 😅 but yes, it exists, and apparently since before quarantine, only we just discovered it on Netflix. These birds have as many or more problems than us and are trying to cope with life, I think they must be our age, osea early 30's and worry about the future and job stability and in love. In fact I worry that I look a bit like Bertie 😭
La historia se centra en dos mujeres pájaros, una tucán llamada Tuca y otra ave que según leí es un zorzal. Jamás imaginé ver alguna serie de tv donde la protagonista fuera un tucán con bubbies humanas 😅 pero sí, existe, y al parecer desde antes de la cuarentena, solo que nosotros lo acabamos de descubrir en Netflix. Estos pájaros tienen tantos o más problemas que nosotros y están tratando de sobrellevar la vida, creo que que deben tener nuestra edad, osea inicio de los 30 y se preocupan por el futuro y la estabilidad laboral y en el amor. De hecho me preocupa parecerme un poco a Bertie 😭
If you don't mind seeing nudes of plants and animals, then this is the place for you 🤣 At the beginning it seemed to me a very scandalous program because of the music used and fast and crazy scenes, very colorful and psychedelic, but as time goes by, even the chapters you discover that there is a whole drama behind them and that highlights the abuse towards women and the empowerment of women; In the end, the theme I liked the most in this series was that of friendship, because despite the differences between the protagonists, they manage to remain faithful to each other until the end.
Si no te molesta ver desnudos de plantas y animales, entonces este es el lugar para ti 🤣 Al inicio me pareció un programa muy escandaloso por la música que usa y escenas rápidas y alocadas, muy coloridas y psicodélicas, pero con el paso del rato, incluso de los capítulos vas descubriendo que hay todo un drama detrás de ellas y que resalta el abuso hacia las mujeres y el empoderamiento de las mismas; al final el tema que más me gustó en esta serie fue el de la amistad, ya que a pesar de las diferencias entre los protagonistas, logran mantenerse fiel entre ambas hasta el final.
Here any inanimate object can become a character with bizarre but very comical human behaviors. You can get to laugh out loud like the episode where one of Bertie's breasts gets upset and abandons her, it's even a character with its own voice 🤣 but it also managed to get a couple of tears out of me in the final episodes when they make reference to friendship and sexual abuse, which in the end we understood was the origin of Bertie's anxiety problems.
Aquí cualquier objeto inanimado puede llegar a ser un personaje con conductas humanas bizarras pero muy cómicas. Puedes llegar a reír a carcajadas como el episodio donde uno de los senos de Bertie se molesta y la abandona, incluso es un personaje con su propia voz 🤣 pero también logró sacarme un par de lágrimas en los episodios finales cuando hacen referencia a la amistad y al abuso sexual, que al final entendimos que era el origen de los problemas de ansiedad de Bertie.
Both protagonists are a sweetheart, each in their own reality and personality. It's nice to lead a more organized and planned life like Bertie and her bird boy. They are trying to create a home and start a successful business, but boy, after my 30's I have found that living a little more like Tuca can be a little healthy. She's a party girl and carefree, but to extreme levels, so much so that she doesn't do herself any good, but the combination of the two personalities is a perfect match. Whether as a couple or as friends, it's always important to enjoy and respect that person with you who has those strengths that you lack. These bird girls help each other to deal with life, just as Jhoxiris and I have done, and I hope that you who read me allow yourself to find and value that person who complements you, enjoys your madness and accompanies you in your day to day life...
Ambas protagonistas son un amor, cada quien en su realidad y personalidad. Es bueno llevar una vida más organizada y planificada como Bertie y su chico pájaro. Intentan crear un hogar y emprender un negocio exitoso, pero vaya que luego de mis 30 he descubierto que vivir un poco más como Tuca puede llegar a ser un poco saludable. Ella es fiestera y despreocupada, pero a niveles extremos, tanto que no se hace bien a ella misma, pero la combinación de ambas personalidades es un complemento perfecto. Ya sea como pareja o como amigos, siempre es importante disfrutar y respetar a esa persona que te acompaña y que tiene esas fortalezas que a ti te faltan. Estas chicas pájaro se ayudan mutuamente a lidiar con la vida, así como hemos hecho Jhoxiris y yo, y espero que tú que me lees te permitas encontrar y valorar a esa persona que te complemente, disfrute tu locura y te acompañe en tu día a día...
