Hola Hivers amantes de las películas y series, en esta ocasión quiero entrar en el gran debate que se ha generado alrededor de la película Army of the Dead, dirigida por el famoso director Zack Snyder, una película que es estrenada de este año 2021 y que ha abierto infinidad de debates entre la crítica especializada y los espectadores comunes que solo nos gusta disfrutar de las producciones cinematográficas.

Esta película ha gustado a muchos pero también a decepcionado a un gran número de personas, es evidente que no todos compartimos los mismos gustos por lo tanto las opiniones de nuestras reseñas y cometarios se basan meramente en nuestra percepción y punto de vista como individuo. En muchas ocasiones compartiremos la misma opinión sobre una película y en otras simplemente diferimos sobre la calidad u otros aspectos relevantes de la producción.
Lo maravilloso de que las personas no tengan los mismos gustos es que se puede observar una misma película desde una gran cantidad de puntos de vistas únicos e individuales que se van complementando y debatiendo por parte de la misma comunidad. En Hive tenemos ese espacio en el cual podemos expresarnos y compartir nuestros puntos de vista, algo genial para todos nosotros por lo que representa una total libertad de expresión sin prejuicios. Cualquiera puede decir que una película es una basura o una maravilla del arte moderno y no se le juzgará porque esa es su percepción. Por eso me encanta crear contenido y consumir contenido aquí.
Sinopsis:
Un grupo de mercenarios intentaran realizar un robo sin precedentes en las Vegas, un espacio en cuarentena debido a la proliferación de los muertos vivientes que asesinan a toda persona que se encuentre a su alcance, deberán entrar en la ciudad y realizar el atraco de sus vidas, situación que los pondrá en un peligro como nunca antes y se jugaran todo para cumplir con esta increíble hazaña.
Sobre la Película
Ahora comentaré sobre la película desde mi punto de vista, en esta ocasión no realizaré un resumen o análisis exhaustivo como de costumbre para alentar a otras personas a que vean la película y puedan mostrar sus opiniones (si lo desea). Por mi parte les quiero comentar aspectos que influyen en la opinión del espectador agregando además lo que me gusto y lo que no en esta película de Snyder.
El Director:
Para algunos espectadores el nombre del que se sienta en la silla de director influye en su opinión sobre las películas. Snyder, director o productor ha trabajado en películas memorables que muchos de nosotros conocemos, algunas de ellas son épicas con una crítica muy positiva y otras películas comparten opiniones, sin embargo, el gusto del espectador influye en todo esto. Puede ser que a muchos no les guste la película 300 pero a mi realmente me encanta esa película y fue dirigida por este cineasta. Tal vez su apego por la franquicia de DC hace que muchos espectadores ya tengan una percepción positiva o negativa del director.
Zombis:
Algo que influye indudablemente es que es una película de zombis, es lo más resaltante y solo hay que ver el tráiler para saber que toda la trama gira entorno a los muertos vivientes. Este es un género que se ha vuelto muy popular en el cine y en la cultura general desde hace algunas décadas atrás, Snyder ya ha tenido experiencia en este género con el amanecer de los muertos en 2004, en lo particular a mí me agrada ver películas de zombis un gusto impulsado por videojuegos que he jugado desde niño, así que siempre le prestó atención a las películas de este género.
Por otro lado no a todos les gustan los zombis, creo que en mi familia soy de los pocos que le gusta este género, mi esposa odia las películas de zombis así que ya sabrán su opinión de Army of the Dead tan solo viendo el tráiler de la película. En general si a las personas no les apetece ver películas de zombis simplemente les parecerá malas.
Mezclas de Genero
En el cine ahora notamos una tendencia en la mezcla de géneros así como nunca antes los productores se había atrevido. Ahora podemos ver películas que están dentro del género de terror pero que también se pueden catalogar en un género de comedia. La mezcla de géneros se ha convertido en una tendencia muy visible en el mundo del cine en este tiempo.
Incluso podemos ver películas de zombis con un toque de humor negro aunque tradicionalmente las películas de zombis son acompañadas de mucha acción sangre y disparos en varias producciones podemos notar humor negro en combinación del género en una mezcla que ha funcionado en otras producciones como Zombielad que mezcla de una manera que en lo particular no había visto la comedia con los zombis.
En Army of the Dead vemos cómo se van apilando los subgéneros en una misma trama, este punto puede ser una de las consecuencias principales que pueden estar dividiendo a la crítica, muchos tal vez no estamos acostumbrados a ver este tipo de mezclas que posee la película.

Básicamente puedes hacer una película completa con solo uno de estos subgéneros, sin embargo, Army of the Dead realiza una trama única donde mezcla cada uno de ellos en una versión propia de Snyder. Este tipo de producción es algo que posiblemente veremos en el cine más recurrente con tantos géneros mezclados creando una historia totalmente loca para el espectador, un aspecto que puede emocionar a algunos y desalentar a otros dependiendo de eso tan importante que he mencionado tanto en este post, el gusto de cada quien.
Mi Opinión
Habiendo dicho todo esto quiero dar mi opinión según mi punto de vista. Me parece una película que cuyo comienzo es un poco aburrido, a pesar de tener alguna escena de acción creo que va mejorando poco a poco en la segunda mitad, se puede decir que soy tradicional en el género de zombis así que debe haber muchos disparos en este tipo de películas y en la segunda mitad creo que hay muy buena acción y muchos disparos en la cabeza.
En cuanto los zombis, observamos una nueva clase de muertos vivientes, creaturas más inteligentes organizadas jerárquicamente, incluso que pueden mostrar sentimientos, algo definitivamente fuera del molde del género de zombi tradicional, en lo particular no me molestó estas nuevas características para los zombis, además debemos tener en cuenta el origen de estos muertos vivientes, en las primeras escenas tendremos las pistas fundamentales de porqué estos zombis son tan especiales. Aunque la historia es muy alocada y reúne varias características mezcladas me resultó interesante.
Las Actuaciones
Creo que la producción cuenta con un reparto bastante interesante y las actuaciones me parecen muy buenas, sobre todo mirando el trabajo de Dave Bautista el cual muchos recordaremos por su papel en el universo Marvel como Drax el Destructor, me parece que este actor puede seguir ganando protagonismo en películas de acción, me parece un actor a tener en cuenta en los próximos años. En general el reparto realizo bien su trabajo en actuaciones, se adaptaron a los personajes y a la trama de la película, es un aspecto le da un punto a esta producción.
Conclusión:
En líneas generales puedo decir que no es la mejor película que he visto, tampoco en a mi percepción es la mejor película de zombis que he visto, en ese sentido tal vez soy algo más tradicional en la cultura zombi, sin embargo, tampoco es una producción tan mala y grotesca como pinta en algunos sitios de la web, por supuesto es desde mi precepción única.
Creo que lo que no me gustó fue la primera parte de la película, me gustó más la segunda mitad cuando hay más acción y vamos conociendo mejor a los personajes y sus intenciones. Algunos la califican a esta película como basura, por otro lado otros espectadores la califican como la mejor película de zombis, en ese sentido ambos bandos me parecen caer en la exageración.
Me pareció una película entretenida desde mi punto de vista, mi esposa se durmió a la mitad de la película, evidentemente hay películas para todos los gustos y una sola producción no puede abarcar todos los gustos individuales de cada persona. En lo particular me agradó una buena parte de la producción y su historia.

Synopsis:

About the Movie
Now I will comment about the movie from my point of view, this time I will not make an exhaustive summary or analysis as usual to encourage other people to watch the movie and they can show their opinions (if you want). For my part I want to comment on aspects that influence the viewer's opinion adding also what I liked and what I didn't like in this Snyder's movie.
The Director:
For some viewers the name of the person who sits in the director's chair influences their opinion of the films. Snyder, director or producer has worked on memorable films that many of us are familiar with, some of them are epic with very positive reviews and other films share opinions, however, the viewer's taste influences all of this. Many may not like the movie 300 but I really love that movie and it was directed by this filmmaker. Perhaps his attachment to the DC franchise makes many viewers already have a positive or negative perception of the director.
Zombies:
Something that undoubtedly influences is that it's a zombie movie, it's the highlight and you only have to see the trailer to know that the whole plot revolves around the undead. This is a genre that has become very popular in cinema and in general culture since a few decades ago, Snyder has already had experience in this genre with Dawn of the Dead in 2004, in particular I like to see zombie movies a taste driven by video games that I have played since I was a child, so I always paid attention to the films of this genre.

This type of production is something we are likely to see in more recurring cinema with so many genres mixed together creating a totally crazy story for the viewer, an aspect that may excite some and discourage others depending on that all important thing I have mentioned so much in this post, everyone's taste.
My Opinion
Having said all this I want to give my opinion according to my point of view. It seems to me a movie whose beginning is a little boring, despite having some action scene I think it gets better little by little in the second half, you can say that I am traditional in the zombie genre so there must be a lot of shooting in this kind of movies and in the second half I think there is very good action and a lot of headshots.
As for the zombies, we observe a new kind of undead, more intelligent creatures hierarchically organized, even that can show feelings, something definitely out of the mold of the traditional zombie genre, in particular I did not mind these new features for the zombies, also we must take into account the origin of these undead, in the first scenes we will have the fundamental clues why these zombies are so special. Although the story is very crazy and has several characteristics mixed together, I found it interesting.
The Performances
I think the production has a pretty interesting cast and the performances seem very good, especially looking at the work of Dave Bautista which many will remember for his role in the Marvel universe as Drax the Destroyer, it seems to me that this actor can continue to gain prominence in action movies, I think an actor to watch out for in the coming years. Overall the cast did their job well in performances, they adapted to the characters and the plot of the film, it is an aspect gives a point to this production.
Conclusion:
In general terms I can say that it is not the best movie I have seen, neither in to my perception is it the best zombie movie I have seen, in that sense maybe I am something more traditional in zombie culture, however, it is not such a bad and grotesque production as it paints in some sites on the web, of course it is from my unique preception.
I think what I didn't like was the first part of the movie, I liked more the second half when there is more action and we get to know better the characters and their intentions. Some people qualify this movie as trash, on the other hand other viewers qualify it as the best zombie movie, in that sense both sides seem to me to fall into exaggeration.
I found it an entertaining movie from my point of view, my wife fell asleep halfway through the movie, obviously there are movies for all tastes and a single production can not cover all the individual tastes of each person. I particularly liked a good part of the production and its story.
