Hola Hivers amantes de las películas y series es un verdadero placer saludarles nuevamente, tenía mucho tiempo sin publicar en esta comunidad, trabajo y estudio me han quitado bastante de mi tiempo por lo cual me he limitado un poco en mis publicaciones, incluso mi tiempo de ver películas se ha visto reducido drásticamente, sin embargo, siempre trato de ver películas y jugar videojuego que son cosas que realmente me relaja y me divierten acá les traigo una pelicula que si bien es 2018 la verdad no la sabia de su existencia hasta hace poco.
Hace poco quería ver una película de acción o de terror aprovechando unos momentos de soledad así que hice una búsqueda en Netflix, encontré la película llamada Overlord producida en el año 2018, quería encontrar una película de acción o de terror, sin embargo, al leer la sinopsis de esta película estadounidense me percato que se puede clasificar en ambas categorías por lo cual pensé muy poco para verla debido a que da bastante curiosidad de cómo se desarrollaría la película.
Sinopsis:
Un grupo de soldados paracaidistas realizan una de las misiones más importantes en plena guerra mundial contra los nazis, deberán destruir una torre de comunicaciones antes del día D en la invasión a la Europa, sin embargo, este escuadrón notaran que hay cosas más escalofriantes que los horrores de la guerra, un oscuro secreto que se guarda en un pequeño pueblo y que puede acabar con la historia y con la vida como la conocemos.
Realizare una pequeña reseña sin spoliers para invitarlos a ver esta película si aún no la han visto. Creo que la historia crea cierto grado de curiosidad en el espectador ya que combina varias cosas en dentro de la publicidad que hacen que nos preguntemos como es que se pueden combinar todas esas cosas dentro de una sola película o bien solamente porque reúne características de películas que son de gusto del espectador, eso me pasó a mí y esa es la razón de verla por la plataforma de Netflix.
A mí me gustan las películas de acción en combinación con la guerra, me agrada ver el tema de la segunda guerra mundial en las películas, además, me gustan las historias de zombis. Acción, guerra mundial y zombis parece ser una combinación bastante atrayente.
¿Qué es peor que un Nazi?
Un zombi Nazi, definitivamente peor. Para lograr esto el guion debe ser bastante trabajado en su secuencia y en la lógica que presenta la película, pienso que el guion es bueno teniendo en cuenta la trama y para publicidad que presenta la película.
En el guion nos presenta una historia que puede ser algo conocida para los amantes de las películas de guerra, un grupo de soldados bastante diferentes, el soldado de buen corazón, el gruñón, el introvertido, el que no para de hablar y por supuesto la linda chica que está en contra de los Nazis.
Lo interesante del guion es como unir las piezas para lograr zombis en esa trama, no lo voy a decir debido a que no quiero dar spoilers, sin embargo, es una formula bastante conocida para los amantes del cine en general.
Juego de Cámaras
Uno de los puntos a favor que le otorgo a esta película es sobre todo al principio de la producción, escena que tal vez podemos decir que son algo conocidas en las películas de la segunda guerra mundial pero están muy bien hechas, la verdad tienen un aspecto bastante bueno y se siente la emoción cuando se está viendo la pantalla.
La mejor escena sin duda es cuando el protagonista salta en paracaídas, woow la verdad es una excelente escena con bastante emoción y realizando un juego de cámaras en combinación a buenos efectos especiales logran la mejor escena de la película y que es lo que personalmente más recuerdo.
Es definitivamente una escena importante ya que sumerge al espectador a la trama basada primeramente en la acción, por lo menos en las primeras secuencias del rodaje. Además, es aplaudible las características de los personajes y como las duras condiciones bélicas hacen que de vez en cuando uno de ellos simplemente desaparezca. Es decir se ve claramente lo que significa un conflicto armado y los horrores de la guerra en diferentes perspectivas.

Opinión:
Me parece una película bastante entretenida, creo que el guion está bien estructurado, en definitiva es una película que nos presenta características que hemos visto en un montón de películas sobre todo de guerra y nazis pero con un propio toque y personalidad por lo cual la hace una buena producción debido a que basan esa historia básica de guerra sobre una nueva perspectiva de “zombis” unido por un buen trabajo del guion.
Los efectos son buenos, como ya expliqué anteriormente la escena del salto es la mejor escena de la película, sin embargo, hay varios efectos especiales que no pasan desapercibidos sobre todo en esos zombis en los cuales poco a poco sabremos de donde aparecieron, en las escenas donde el suspenso toma el control no es algo de otro mundo al igual que la sensación de terror, en lo particular no hay mucho terror solo la típica emoción de que está a punto de asesinar o comerse a alguien.
En conclusión creo que la película sin ser una obra maestra ni mucho menos puede captar la atención del espectador de principio a fin, dando una experiencia con bastante personalidad y que probablemente hará recordar esta película principalmente por combinar una historia de la segunda guerra mundial con uno de los nichos más famosos de los últimos años los zombis, en ese sentido si recomiendo ver la película y probablemente ya tengas la curiosidad de verla

Synopsis:
A group of paratroopers perform one of the most important missions in the midst of world war against the Nazis, they must destroy a communications tower before D-Day in the invasion of Europe, however, this squad will notice that there are things more chilling than the horrors of war, a dark secret that is kept in a small town and that can end history and life as we know it.
I will make a small review without spoliers to invite you to see this movie if you haven't seen it yet. I think the story creates a certain degree of curiosity in the viewer as it combines several things in within advertising that make us wonder how is it that you can combine all those things within a single film or just because it brings together features of films that are to the taste of the viewer, that happened to me and that is the reason to see it through the Netflix platform.
I like action movies in combination with war, I like to see the theme of the second world war in movies, besides, I like zombie stories. Action, world war and zombies seems to be a pretty appealing combination.
What's worse than a Nazi?
A Nazi zombie, definitely worse. To achieve this the script must be quite worked out in its sequence and in the logic that the movie presents, I think the script is good considering the plot and for publicity that the movie presents.
In the script we are presented with a story that may be somewhat familiar to lovers of war movies, a group of soldiers quite different, the soldier with a good heart, the grumpy, the introvert, the one who does not stop talking and of course the pretty girl who is against the Nazis.

One of the points in favor that I give to this movie is especially at the beginning of the production, scene that maybe we can say that they are somewhat known in the movies of the second world war but they are very well done, the truth have a pretty good look and you feel the excitement when you are watching the screen.
The best scene is undoubtedly when the protagonist jumps by parachute, woow the truth is an excellent scene with a lot of emotion and performing a game of cameras in combination with good special effects achieve the best scene of the film and that is what I personally remember most.
It is definitely an important scene as it immerses the viewer to the plot based primarily on action, at least in the first sequences of the shooting. In addition, it is applaudable the characteristics of the characters and how the harsh war conditions make that from time to time one of them simply disappears. In other words, it is clearly seen what an armed conflict means and the horrors of war in different perspectives.

I find it a quite entertaining movie, I think the script is well structured, in short it is a movie that presents us with features that we have seen in a lot of movies mostly about war and Nazis but with its own touch and personality which makes it a good production because they base that basic war story on a new perspective of "zombies" joined by a good work of the script.
The effects are good, as I explained before the jump scene is the best scene of the movie, however, there are several special effects that do not go unnoticed especially in those zombies in which little by little we will know where they appeared, in the scenes where the suspense takes over is not something out of this world as well as the feeling of terror, in particular there is not much terror only the typical emotion that is about to kill or eat someone.
In conclusion I think the film without being a masterpiece or much less can capture the viewer's attention from beginning to end, giving an experience with enough personality and probably will remember this film mainly by combining a story of the second world war with one of the most famous niches of recent years the zombies, in that sense if I recommend watching the movie and probably already have the curiosity to see it.
