One of the things I like most about this era of streaming is that platforms are taking risks and betting on the launch and production of other types of series and movies, especially giving an opportunity to outgoing ideas from Europe and Asia.

I think that this is magnificent because in the variety is the taste as my father said, hence today I want to share my opinion of what I consider a total hidden gem that like other productions usually go under the table.

To give you an idea of what this series is all about, it is basically a police thriller that, as I mentioned happen in Oslo-Norway, has the particularity of incorporating an inexplicable global phenomenon that seems to have come out of a sci-fi superproduction, which makes us find ourselves in a current time where people from different times live, that is, thousands of people from four different times live together: the stone age, the Viking era, the 19th century and, clearly, the current one.

Let me tell you that this is not a thing, just imagine having to live daily with people from other times, basically is to meet daily with Vikings and other people from the past.

But well following the story, the series begins to make us understand a little through flashes how were the first appearances of these people of other times, so that we get used to them a little (I did not do it), to immediately jump a few years to our beloved epicenter of mysteries, Oslo, where it is more than usual to find the streets full of time visitors.

And from there everything gets a little out of control and interesting because the series begins to delve into social and political issues that directly affect the new residents of Oslo.

All those issues come from the investigations and discoveries of our group of protagonists that let me tell you are simply awesome, above all because of the diversity it has, that is to say, there is a female Viking in the police investigation group, something that, besides giving us something different, gives us a social point of view represented from the acts of a time migrant.

What is curious, but at the same time surprising is the natural way in which the series mixes the police drama with the themes they deal with giving them a balance that was missed in series like this.

For a moment the apparent murders and what is behind them is not, as we are used to lately, something that remains in the background because what interests us is talking about the social drama and the "chronophobia" that can exist in such a society.

Evidently, there is a commentary on the treatment given to refugees and immigrants in Europe but wrapped in a history of time travel and mystery quite entertaining and that, with each episode, becomes a little more complicated.

The framework of the investigation of the death of the drowned woman is so perfect that it keeps us in anguish and at the same time gives the series a chance to show how the world has changed with these visitors, how they are the protagonists and how the emigrants of the past drag with them other mysteries that will end up being important.

In conclusion for me, this series has been a pleasant surprise because it takes something like police dramas and transforms it into a constant social criticism that at the same time shows us the different nuances of a society full of different cultures all forced to coexist in a chaotic world.
