El ejercito de los muertos/Army of the dead (Reseña/Review)

Un convoy militar estadounidense lleva una carga secreta del área 51, los militares juegan a contar teorías de lo que realmente puede ser la carga, pudiendo ser lo que sea, una pareja de recién casados choca con el convoy haciendo que la carga caiga a la carretera, liberando lo que hay en su interior, un zombie. El zombie se encarga de los militares y empieza su misión de apoderarse del lugar más cerca que encuentra, Las Vegas. Han pasado varios años desde ese incidente, algunos quedaron como héroes por su trabajo, por ello, han sido llamados para una misión especial en el lugar que ellos mejor conocen.

An American military convoy carries a secret cargo from area 51, the military play to tell theories of what the cargo can really be, it can be anything, a newly married couple collides with the convoy causing the cargo to fall to the road, releasing what is inside, a zombie. The zombie takes charge of the military and begins his mission to seize the closest place he can find, Las Vegas. Several years have passed since that incident, some were left as heroes for their work, therefore, they have been called for a special mission in the place they know best.

El director Zack Snyder trajo esta película luego de su levantamiento con Snyder Cut: Justice League, siendo ahora un target para las personas que le gusto su trabajo anterior y para las que conocen su afición por los zombies. Esta película pude haberla ignorado por el simple hecho de ser de zombies, pero vi algunas imágenes dando vueltas por mis redes sociales así que decidí verla a ver que tan buena es.

Pero el resultado fue en una desilusión masiva, la película tiene muchos clichés y termina de una manera aburrida y sin sentido, no dándole importancia a todo lo que paso, es uno de esos finales que termina cerrando una película completamente pero de una forma errónea y monótona. Primero que nada, la introducción de los personajes, pasó lo mismo con Suicide Squad, toma mucha parte de la película mostrar a los personajes, llegando a cansar, luego de eso se tiene que ver si los personajes al menos son carismáticos pero terminan siendo olvidables.

La película empieza unos años después de lo que sucede en Las Vegas, dando a entender de que hay una historia antes de lo ocurrido, llegue a leer que harán una serie animada o algo por el estilo. Al menos para mí no sirve de nada contar una historia pasada donde ya vi el final para todos, al menos la mayoría y al ver un personaje nuevo en dicha serie, se que morirá porque no salió en la película. Lo único rescatable de la película es la nueva imagen de los Zombies, más inteligentes y agiles, una verdadera amenaza, lamentablemente muy mal utilizada.

Llegue a leer en otras partes que los chistes de la película les parecían absurdos y tontos, me alegro de haber leído esas reseñas porque nunca habría imaginado que habían chistes en la película, son comentarios tan tontos y simples que pensé que era parte de la esencia de los personajes. La hija de Scott, Kate, fue la que más me hizo molestar, con sus ideales y su creencia de que es la afectada, no logro comprender porque es necesario un personaje como ella y porque la mayoría del tiempo tiene que ser una mujer que me haga irritar. Hace un tiempo comenté en un post que no entendía porque las mujeres son mostradas de esa manera, tiende a ser demasiado repetitivo e innecesario.

Aunque es una película larga, de dos horas y un poco más, les ahorro diciendo que todos mueren, todos menos Kate, y ese es un final asqueroso para todo lo que sucedió, así que quiéranse y no vean una película que tiene casi una hora de introducción de personajes, chistes tontos, trama incompleta que pretende ser interesante pero termina siendo olvidable y un final que te hace pensar "¿Todo para eso?" así que mi recomendación es, no la vean.

The Director Zack Snyder brought this movie after his uprising with Snyder Cut: Justice League, now being a target for people who liked his previous work and for those who know his fondness for zombies. This movie could have been ignored for the simple fact of being zombies, but I saw some images circling my social networks so I decided to see it to see how good it is.

But the result was a massive disappointment, the film has many clichés and ends in a boring and pointless way, not giving importance to everything that happened, it is one of those endings that ends up closing a film completely but in a wrong way and monotonous. First of all, the introduction of the characters, the same happened with Suicide Squad, it takes a lot of the film to show the characters, getting tired, after that you have to see if the characters are at least charismatic but end up being forgettable.

The film begins a few years after what happens in Las Vegas, implying that there is a story before what happened, I read that they will make an animated series or something like that. At least for me it is useless to tell a past story where I already saw the end for everyone, at least most of them and when I see a new character in that series, I know that he or she will die because he or she did not appear in the film. The only redeemable thing in the film is the new image of the Zombies, more intelligent and agile, a real threat, unfortunately very badly used.

I came to read elsewhere that the jokes in the movie seemed absurd and silly, I am glad I read those reviews because I would never have imagined that there were jokes in the film, they are such silly and simple comments that I thought it was part of the essence Of the characters. Scott's daughter, Kate, was the one that bothered me the most, with her ideals and her belief that she is the one affected, I can't understand why a character like her is necessary and why most of the time she has to be a woman who irritate. Some time ago I commented in a post that I did not understand why women are shown that way, it tends to be too repetitive and unnecessary.

Although it is a long movie, two hours and a little longer, I save you by saying that everyone dies, everyone but Kate, and that is a disgusting ending to everything that happened, so love each other and do not watch a movie that is almost an hour of character introductions, silly jokes, incomplete plot that pretends to be interesting but ends up being forgettable, and an ending that makes you think "Everything for that?" so my recommendation is, don't look at it.

Normalmente cuando no me gusta una película no comento sobre ella, pero esta tiene tantas cosas malas que no lo deseo ese mal a nadie de verla, si tienen la curiosidad de que si lo que digo es cierto, pueden verla, es nueva en Netflix, pero no se pierden de mucho, tal vez la serie animada pueda ser mejor.
