Welcome my dear pink internet travelers and thank you very much for making a temporary stop in my post, there are movies that cause a lot of commotion during their premiere and that is why I decide to wait a bit for the waters to calm down before doing my review, the time It's over now and it's time for me to write about the "Barbie" film. Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros rosados del internet y muchas gracias por hacer una parada temporal en mi post, hay películas que causan mucho revuelo durante su estreno y es por eso que decido esperar un poco que las aguas se calmasen antes de hacer mi reseña, el tiempo ya ha pasado y ya es momento de que escriba sobre el filme de "Barbie". Sin más que agregar vamos a sentirnos perfectos pues estamos por comenzar.

Barbie was released in July of this year, directed by Greta Gerwig, produced by LuckyChap Entertainment and Mattel Films, with a duration of 1 hour and 54 minutes. It is a comedy story, it focuses on the stereotypical Barbie doll who lives her life in Barbieland with all the other Barbies, the problem arises when she gradually stops being so perfect and begins to have an existential crisis due to multiple thoughts about death, it is because of this that she embarks on a journey to the real world to help the girl who played with her and restore her perfection.
Barbie fue estrenada en julio del presente año, dirigida por Greta Gerwig, producida por LuckyChap Entertainment y Mattel Films, cuenta con una duración de 1 hora y 54 minutos. Es una historia de comedia, se centra en la muñeca Barbie estereotípica la cual vive su vida en Barbieland con todas las demás Barbies, el problema surge cuando está poco a poco deja de ser tan perfecta y comienza a tener una crisis existencial debido a múltiples pensamientos sobre la muerte, es debido a ello que se embarca en un viaje al mundo real para poder ayudar a la niña que jugaba con ella y restaurar su perfección.

The soundtrack is nice, on several occasions the film includes musical choreographies that are loaded with humorous phrases that are simply excellent, the rest of the musical section is well used.
La banda sonora es agradable, en varias ocasiones la película incluye coreografías musicales que se encuentran cargadas de frases jocosas que son simplemente excelentes, el resto del apartado musical se encuentra bien utilizado.

The world building is absolutely amazing, starting with Barbieland which is a complete satire from top to bottom, denoting a world in which women are the ones holding all the important jobs for some general reason that no one understands, they just accept the give prizes to each other just because; later she also makes fun of patriarchy, denoting how this concept can only be applied in a fictional world because it is completely meaningless, making its comic factor excellent; All of the above is reinforced with a view of the real world in which there is no favoring of any kind, although there is a preference for making men stupid, dependent and inconsequential, but it is something that must be taken with humor.
La construcción de mundo es absolutamente maravillosa, empezando por Barbieland el cual es una completa sátira de arriba abajo, denotando un mundo en el cual las mujeres son las que ocupan todos los puestos laborales importantes por algún motivo en general que nadie entiende, solo aceptan el darse premios las unas a las otras solo porque sí; posteriormente se burla también del patriarcado denotando como este concepto solo puede ser aplicado en un mundo ficticio debido a que es completamente carente de sentido haciendo que su factor cómico sea excelente; Todo lo anterior se refuerza con la vista al mundo real en el cual no existe ningún favorecimiento de ningún género, aunque si existe una decantación por el hecho de hacer a los hombres estúpidos, dependientes e intrascendentes pero es algo que hay que tomarse con humor.

The plot houses very remarkable moments of humor that make it entertaining, although the comedy is entertaining, there are still moments in which the tape feels quite boring and tedious, this makes the narrative feel quite simple without any really remarkable aspiration and with quite basic, predictable and even somewhat bland conclusions.
La trama alberga momentos muy destacables de humor que la hacen entretenida, si bien la comedia es entretenida siguen habiendo momento en los cuales la cinta se siente bastante aburrida y tediosa, esto hace que la narrativa se sienta bastante simple sin alguna aspiración realmente destacable y con conclusiones bastante básicas, previsibles e incluso algo sosas.

There are two characters that I am going to highlight since they are the ones that stand out above the rest, obviously Barbie stands out for her existential crisis, the problem with said crisis is the fact that her conflict feels completely artificial, this is because she claims the responsibility to men since at all times the causes of this are the women themselves; On the other hand, there is Ken, who completely represents simp men who do not have self-respect who only seek feminine approval and lack masculinity, for a brief moment this character becomes interesting because he decides to do something with his problems by subtracting importance to the thought of others and focus on him and his tastes, this does not last long so there is not so much merit but it is still more endearing. The rest of the characters are there to reinforce the jokes and so on, there is nothing else that makes them stand out.
Existen dos personajes que voy a destacar puesto que son los que resaltan por encima del resto, evidentemente Barbie sobresale por su crisis existencial, el problema con dicha crisis es el hecho de que su conflicto se siente totalmente artificial, esto debido a que se adjudica la responsabilidad a los hombres siendo que en todo momento las causales de esto son las propias mujeres; Por otro lado está Ken, el cual representa completamente a los hombres simp que no tienen amor propio que solo buscan la aprobación femenina y carentes de masculinidad, por un breve momento este personaje se vuelve interesante debido a que decide hacer algo con sus problemas al restarle importancia al pensamiento ajeno y enfocarse en él y en sus gustos, esto dura poco así que no hay tanto mérito pero igual sigue siendo más entrañable. El resto de personajes están ahí para reforzar los chistes y demás, no hay nada más que los destaque.
Barbie is a casual film that is entertaining due to the way it makes fun of both feminism and patriarchy, however it is necessary to highlight the fact that it does not transcend beyond mockery, so it is not any kind of social criticism or anything more complex of the jokes That is why it deserves 3 stars out of 7, it is a nice movie with funny moments that I recommend if you want to see something to kill time.
Barbie es una cinta casual que resulta entretenida por la forma de burlarse tanto del feminismo como del patriarcado, sin embargo es necesario destacar el hecho de que no trasciende más allá de la burla por lo que no es ninguna clase de crítica social ni nada más complejo de los chistes. Es por ello que merece 3 estrellas de 7, es una película agradable con momentos divertidos que recomiendo si se desea ver algo para matar el rato.
