Everything everywhere at once
At first glance, the title seems like a bunch of random words, but the film shows the viewer in a rather interesting way what it really is. If you like satisfying cinema, this is the film for you, where everything comes together to create uncharacteristic chaos. I've piqued your interest then I invite you to come along. Expect the unexpected is the main message while watching, and that's how I felt the whole time being surprised while watching the more than 2-hour film. It is also one of the few films that are comedies that caused me streams of tears so the film is specific, or it is with me as always something is wrong.
The film focuses on a woman who runs a laundromat with her husband and awaits the arrival of her father. She prepares a lot of things for this moment, when her daughter shows up with her girlfriend, she can't accept her daughter's choice, while her husband thinks to end their long-standing relationship through divorce, excessively bad she has to talk to a representative of the Office. All in one day, to be exact, the chaos takes a turn for the worse. However, at first everything goes normally, when she suddenly discovers that her husband is an alternate version and asks her to save the universe. The woman agrees and so begins a journey between worlds to save the world from an oncoming bagel. If you think what I've described is silly, the evil is in the details, this is a moving film that touches on issues of mental breakdown, depression, wanting to commit suicide and running away from family.
It's a drama covered with a large layer of comedy and action to finally show the problem and give perhaps the best solution the film could have served to the viewer. Many scenes we won't understand, many will try to make us laugh, many allude to Kill Bill, but that's the point of making the viewer like the protagonist feel this omnipresent confusion so that the confrontation with the main bad guy is so well handled. The film is divided into 3 segments Segment everything shows the heroine's path to chaos, the omnipresent evil that makes it difficult for her to function. It shows everywhere that she fights to make a difference, and confronts the enemy and tries to understand why exactly the enemy wants to fight. At once it is the finale of the story, where the right path can be found despite all the chaos. As a whole, as a film, it's extremely cinematic where Asian actors in extraordinary style and great humor create a performance full of trying to understand another not always ideal person.
This is a film worth watching not because there are spectacular action scenes, but because the plot is driven in such a way as to show the other dark bottom of the whole story and give the viewer a bittersweet story. 8/10
Wszystko wszędzie naraz
Tytuł na pierwszy rzut wydaje się zlepkiem losowych słów, jednak film w dość ciekawy sposób pokazuje widzowi czym tak na prawdę jest. Jeśli lubicie kino, które daje satysfakcję to jest to film dla was, gdzie wszystko łączy się w całość tworząc nietuzinkowy chaos. Zaciekawiłem was to zapraszam. Spodziewaj się niespodziewanego to główne przesłanie w czasie oglądania i tak tez czułem cały czas będąc zaskakiwanym w czasie oglądania ponad 2 godzinnego filmu. To tez jeden z nielicznych filmów będących komedia, które wywołały u mnie potoki łez wiec film jest specyficzny, bądź to ze mną jest jak zawsze coś nie tak.
Film skupia się na kobiecie, która prowadzi pralnie wraz z mężem i oczekuje przyjazdu ojca. Na ta chwile przygotowuje wiele rzeczy, kiedy zjawia się jej córka z dziewczyna, nie potrafi zaakceptować wyboru swojej córki, mąż natomiast myśli by zakończyć ich wieloletni związek poprzez rozwód, nadmiar złego musi porozmawiać z przedstawicielka Urzędu. Wszystko w jeden dzień, a dokładnie w ciągu kilkunastu minut chaos nabiera tempa. Jednak początkowo wszystko idzie normalnie, kiedy nagle odkrywa, ze jej mąż jest alternatywna wersja i prosi ja o uratowanie wszechświata. Kobieta zgadza się i tak zaczyna się podróż między światami by uratować świat przed nadciągającym bajglem. Jeśli wydaje wam się, ze to co opisałem jest głupie to zło siedzi w szczegółach to poruszający film, który dotyka spraw załamania psychicznego, depresji, chęci samobójstwa i ucieczki od rodziny.
To dramat przykryty duża warstwa komedii i akcji by ostatecznie ukazać problem i dać chyba najlepsze rozwiązanie jakie film mógł zaserwować widzowi. Wiele scen nie będzie nam dane zrozumieć, wiele tez będą starać się rozbawić, wiele nawiązuje do Kill Bill, ale to właśnie o to chodzi by widz niczym bohaterka czuli to wszechobecne zagubienie by konfrontacja z głównym złym była tak dobrze poprowadzona. Film dzieli się na 3 segmenty Segment wszystko pokazuje drogę bohaterki do chaosu, wszechobecne zło, które utrudnia jej funkcjonowanie. Wszędzie pokazuje, ze walczy by coś zmienić, oraz konfrontuje się z przeciwnikiem i stara się zrozumieć czemu akurat tak przeciwnik chce walczyć. Naraz to finał historii, gdzie mimo całego chaosu można odnaleźć odpowiednia ścieżkę. Całość jako film to niezwykle kino gdzie azjatyccy aktorzy w niezwykłym stylu i w świetnym humorze tworzą spektakl pełen próby zrozumienia drugiej nie zawsze idealnej osoby.
To film, który warto obejrzeć nie ze względu na to, ze są widowiskowe sceny akcji, ale dlatego, ze fabuła jest tak prowadzona by ukazać drugie mroczne dno całej historii i dać widzowi słodko gorzka historie. 8/10
