The Resort, film z niskim budżetem o duchach, jest przynajmniej na początku interesujący, mimo typowego schematy nawiedzonego hotelu, to jednak w tym wypadku duch znajduje się w Honolulu w zamkniętym hotelu, wiec tutaj trochę jest ciekawiej niż w wielu filmach tego typu.
Jeśli chodzi o stronę realizacyjna to jest w miarę dobrze zrobiona jak na tani film, scenariusz ku mojemu zaskoczeniu trzyma się konsekwentnie tego jaki chce być. Grupka przyjaciół organizuje koleżance urodziny a jako prezent wymyslalaja ze spędza weekend w nawiedzonym hotelu, po drodze oczywiście dostając się tam helikopterem.
Film jest lekki, buduje napięcie na zasadzie legendy i to jak głowni bohaterowie spędza tam czas. Poki nie widać ducha to czuć tutaj lekki niepokój.
Jeśli chodzi o aktorstwo to mimo, ze aktorzy grają jak deski do prasowania to pasuja tutaj i nawet da się oglądać bez zażenowania. Jeśli chodzi o aspekt efektów specjalnych to przez duża cześć filmu dostajemy piękne krajobrazy, a mniej komputerowych efektów cgi przez co można pomyśleć ze to film przygodowy.
Co do najważniejszego punktu czyli horroru to jest tutaj problem nowoczesnych horrorów, czyli reżyser nir potrafi określić jak przestawić ducha by przeraził, a kiedy już pokazuje to czar pryska.
Film może lekko kojarzyć się z kinem lat 2000 o grupkach przyjaciół na tajemniczych wyspach i musza przetrwać.
Mimo ze budżet wynosi dwie herbaty i jedna kawę to jest lepiej zrealizowany niż Rings co już w samo w sobie tylko mocniej dobija produkcje Rings.
W filmie zdarzają się momenty kiedy aktorzy patrzą w kamerę, lub gadają tak przerysowanie, ze można wybuchnąć śmiechem.
W tym wypadku można to wybaczyć gdyż żaden z aktorów nie jest znany, a to bardziej film z budżetem kawy, wiec wpadki tutaj się zdarzają. Dialogi sa drętwe jakby pisane w drewnie za pomocą ryby.
Film posiada tez swojego Aquamana ( w sensie postać z broda i długimi wlosami) Jako ze to film o nastolatkach to oczywiście, musza być wspólne tance lub zabawy w wodzie.
Film dzieli się na dwie części, jedna opowiada historie jak bohaterowie trafiają na wyspę i wyruszają do strasznego resortu, druga zaś opowiada mocno spoilerujac nam od pierwszych minut historie bohaterki która jako jedyna jest w szpitalu i opowiada dlaczego udało jej się uciec.
Kiedy bohaterowie docierają do nawiedzonego hotelu pierwsze co mi przyszło na myśl to jakby było wspaniałe gdyby zamiast duchów zrobili filmowa wersje gry Dead Island gdyż moment są wręcz żywcem wyrwane z gry, jednak to film o duchach.

Bohaterowie w czasie filmu przechodzą różne przemiany dzieląc się swoimi przeżyciami na temat duchów, są tez również schematy na temat bohaterow mamy osiłka, wyluzowanego gostka który lubi pic alkohol i gada od rzeczy, dziewczynę która nie wie go tam robi oraz solenizantke, która jest jak na horror przystało najbardziej normalna.
W drugiej połowie film powoli nabiera tempa, niestety idzie po najmniejszej lini oporu nie dając widzowi nawet koszty przerażenia.
Bohaterowie w drugiej części filmu zachowują się niezwykle głupio, reakcja och jest wręcz śmieszna a powód powrotu do hotelu była komiczna. Noc w hotelu dla bohaterow jest przerażająca, jednak my jako widzowie nie spodziewajmy się tutaj szaleństwa na miarę Grave Encouters czy The Tunnel, tutaj mamy spokojna opowieść okraszona duchem.
Bohaterowie giną niczym w Blair Witch Project, a wręcz parodiują scenę. Film zbliżając się do końca pozostawia widza z niesmakiem, o ile początek jeszcze jest w miarę zachęcający do obejrzenia tak finał jest wręcz parodia najsłynniejszch horror przy czym tworzy ich nieudolne kopie.
Finał i zmaganie z mordercza dziewczynka duchem powoduje, ze koniec jest śmieszny, przez to ze nie potrafi byś film sobą a tworzy jakaś dziwna hybrydę postaci.
Ocena 2/10, ze względu na to ze nie oczekiwałem dużo po tym filmie, a początek lekko nawet wzbudzał zainteresowanie, szkoda finału i szkoda przedwszystkim zmarnowanego potencjału na dobry horror.
Film kilku krotnie dawał znaki ze mógłby być interesujący lecz reżyser za każdym razem nagle ogłupiał bardziej bohaterow i przerzucał ich w jeszcze głupsze miejsca. Szkoda. Dzięki za przeczytanie mojej recenzji

As for the production side, it is reasonably well done for a cheap film, the script, to my surprise, sticks to what it wants to be. A group of friends is organizing a birthday for a friend and as a gift they think that she is spending the weekend in a haunted hotel, of course getting there by helicopter. The film is light, it builds suspense like a legend and how the main characters spend their time there.
If you can't see the spirit, you can feel a little uneasy here. When it comes to acting, although the actors play like ironing boards, they fit here and can even be watched without embarrassment.
When it comes to the special effects aspect, for a large part of the film we get beautiful landscapes, and less computer cgi effects, so you can think that it is an adventure movie. As for the most important point, i.e. horror, there is a problem of modern horror films here, i.e. the director can determine how to shift the spirit to scare it, and when it shows, the spell breaks.
The film may be slightly associated with the cinema of the 2000s about groups of friends on mysterious islands and must survive. Although the budget is two teas and one coffee, it is better realized than Rings, which in itself only finishes the production of Rings more.
There are moments in the film when the actors look at the camera or talk so exaggerated that you can burst out laughing. In this case, it can be forgiven because none of the actors are known, and this is more a movie with a coffee budget, so mishaps happen here. Dialogues are numb, as if written in wood with a fish. The film also has its own Aquaman (in the sense of a character with a beard and long hair) As this is a film about teenagers, of course, there must be joint dances or games in the water.
The film is divided into two parts, one tells the stories of how the heroes end up on an island and go to a terrible resort, while the other tells the story of the heroine who is the only one in the hospital, and tells us why she managed to escape.
Hotel, the first thing that came to my mind would be if it would be great if instead of ghosts they made a movie version of Dead Island because the moment is almost taken out of the game, but it's a ghost movie.
The heroes during the film undergo various transformations sharing their experiences about ghosts, there are also patterns about the heroes of a bum, a relaxed guy who likes to drink alcohol and talks about things, a girl who does not know it, and a birthday girl who is like on horror is the most normal.
In the second half, the film slowly gains momentum, unfortunately it follows the slightest line of resistance without giving the viewer even the cost of terror.
The characters in the second part of the movie act extremely stupid, the reaction oh is downright funny and the reason for returning to the hotel was comic.
The night in the heroes' hotel is terrifying, but we as viewers do not expect Grave Encouters or The Tunnel madness here, here we have a quiet story sprinkled with spirit. The heroes die like in the Blair Witch Project, or even https://youtu.be/UUF5h8mkSCA parody the scene.
As the film approaches the end, the viewer leaves the viewer with disgust, as long as the beginning is still quite encouraging to watch, the finale is a parody of the most famous horror films and creates inept copies of them.
The finale and the struggle with the murderous ghost of the girl make the end funny, so that you can't be the film yourself, but it creates a strange hybrid of characters.
Score 2/10, due to the fact that I did not expect much from this film, and the beginning even slightly aroused interest, it is a pity for the finale and it is a pity, above all, the wasted potential for a good horror movie.
The film showed several times that it could be interesting, but the director suddenly stupefied the characters more and threw them into even more stupid places. Detriment.
