Welcome my dear idiot travelers of the internet and thank you very much for making a temporary stop in my post, something extremely cliché in horror films are the young idiots who seek to get into the most dangerous situations possible, all that was what I thought would happen when I started watching "The Resort" despite this I wanted to see it to see what it had to offer. Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros idiotas del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, algo sumamente cliché en los filmes de terror son los jóvenes idiotas que buscan meterse en las situaciones más peligrosas posibles, todo eso fue lo que pensé que pasaría cuando comencé a ver "The Resort" pese a ello tenía ganas de verla para ver que tenía para ofrecer. Sin más que agregar, prepárense para entrar en un sitio maldito pues estamos por comenzar.

The Resort was released in 2021, directed by Taylor Chien and produced by Double Down Pictures, it has a duration of 1 hour and 15 minutes. It is a horror and suspense film, the story focuses on four friends who travel to Hawaii with the intention of visiting a resort that was closed because it is speculated that it is cursed, legends say that the spirit of a girl wanders through that place and they want to see them, however, sooner rather than later they will regret having entered that place.

Es un filme de terror y suspenso, la historia se centra en cuatro amigos que viajan a Hawái con la intención de visitar un resort que fue clausurado debido a que se especula que esta maldito, las leyendas cuentan que el espíritu de una chica deambula por ese lugar y ellos quieren verlas, sin embargo, más temprano que tarde se arrepentirán de haber entrado en dicho lugar.

The soundtrack is quite meh, it doesn't really contribute much and it feels like a fairly generic section that didn't put any effort into it.
La banda sonora es bastante meh, no aporta realmente mucho y se siente como un apartado bastante genérico al que no se le puso nada de esfuerzo.

The same happens with this section, it feels completely lacking any kind of element that makes it highlight in any way, ergo, its atmosphere is completely unfortunate and boring, in addition, its context does not contribute absolutely anything to the premise of the film, it is reduced to being an empty and bland element.
Lo mismo sucede con este apartado, se siente completamente carente de cualquier clase de elemento que lo haga destacar de cualquier forma, ergo, su ambientación es completamente lamentable y aburrida, además, su contexto no aporta absolutamente nada a la premisa del filme, se reduce a ser un elemento vacío y soso.

The plot is completely boring and unsmokable, as a whole, it is absolutely generic and lacking any iota of originality. Narratively it has nothing to offer, the premise is brief and lacking a goal, the film only runs aimlessly, in addition, it takes too long to develop its main event, more than half of the film is pure worthless filler, the film is a very powerful sleeping pill.
La trama es completamente aburrida e infumable, como un todo, es absolutamente genérica y carente de cualquier ápice de originalidad. Narrativamente no tiene nada que ofrecer, la premisa es escueta y carente de un objetivo, la cinta solo transcurre sin rumbo, además, tarda demasiado en desarrollar su evento principal, más de la mitad de la cinta es puro relleno sin valor, el filme es un somnífero potentísimo.

Nothing to highlight, they are just cannon fodder without any kind of personality or characterization, in less than 20 minutes they all die suddenly, this film is so pathetic that it does not even make an effort to show creative and/or disturbing deaths.
Nada que destacar, son solo carne de cañón sin ninguna clase de personalidad ni caracterización, en menos de 20 minutos todos mueren súbitamente, está cinta es tan patética que ni siquiera se esfuerza en mostrar muertes creativas y/o perturbadoras.
The Resort is undoubtedly the worst fear movie he has seen this year, he does not have a single positive point that makes him stand out from some, the perfect way to describe it is like something generic and cliché. It is for all the above that deserves 0.5 stars of 7, if I could give it a negative rating, a complete bodrium without value.
The Resort es sin lugar a dudas la peor película de miedo que haya visto este año, no tiene ni un solo punto positivo que le haga destacar de alguna, la forma perfecta de describirla es como algo genérico y cliché. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 0.5 estrellas de 7, si pudiera darle una calificación negativa lo haría, un completo bodrio sin valor.
