Apart from the fact that I am a big marvel and DC fan (I don’t criticize) I am also a lover of super hero movies and one of my best superhero hero movies or should I even say one of my very first super hero movies is this movie right here. I am not sure I can remember the very first super hero movie I ever watched, but I am sure skyhigh was one of the first because I was about 9 years old when I first watched it. As an adult I have had to watch this movie a good number of times and if I must rate it don’t be surprised if I am biased as I really love the movie. It’s one I will never forget for exposing me into the fantasy world of super heroes. I can’t count how many times I have watched this movie as a kid and as an adult, and this is coming from someone who does not repeat movies. It just shows how great this movie is I guess.

The movie is about the stronghold boy who came from a very prominent family but was never able to awaken his superpower or should I say was a late bloomer. His father was the strongest superhero of his generation alongside his mum who had the flight ability. Together they were an unstoppable force who fought side by side to protect their city. Life however takes a drastic turn when one of the old enemies of the stronghold duo decided to target their son who later awakens his ability that turned out to be even more awesome than that of his parents. Although The boy William was looked down on for not awakening his powers when he was supposed to, the trials and bullies he endured became a stepping stone to his awakening making him something more than the superhero his parents were.

William was able to conquer the challenges he faced through the help of his friends, but was also tested in ways that he almost failed. If Williams had failed the test that was presented before him he would have lost the great friends he had and would have probably lost his parents too. These are those kinds of movies that I wished were in a series so they could act everything without holding anything back. Characters like the main villains were supposed to be explained, or at least if the project had continued, this movie deserved a part two and even part three because it was a really great movie. Another person that would have had a great story in this movie was his best friend with her nature ability who many people thought weak. I felt the movie did not do justice to how powerful her ability really was. But the most interesting twist in the story was that at the end of the day William’s worst enemy became his best friend, his best friend became his girl friend and his girl friend became his worst enemy.
