The Seven Deadly Sins as it is known in America or in its official name Nanatsu no Taizai is a fantasy style anime with a medieval theme which was developed in collaboration with Netfix based on the history of the manga with the same name, currently has 3 seasons and is scheduled for release in the fourth and perhaps final season early next year. Because of that and because this was one of the first Animes that I enjoyed through the Netflix platform I will make a post about it and commenting the basics for those who don't know it yet, don't worry there won't be any serious Spoiler or anything that will ruin the surprises that this Anime brings.
As I already mentioned the history of this anime is based on a medieval time of castles, magic, gods and demons. Everything takes place in the nation of Britannia in which the biggest kingdom of all is the kingdom of Lyon a large and developed city which has as protectors the Holy Knights which have great strength and skills being able to use magic offensively as a defense and becoming very devastating. The whole story begins when one day a great massacre happens to the Sacred Knights and they are accused of the crime the Seven Capital Sins who are the 7 strongest knights that the Nation has and that were in charge of protecting all the kingdoms, after being accused and some of them were captured like others escaped without knowing their whereabouts the kingdom of Lyon submerges in the oppression of the Sacred Knights that control everything and even plan to overthrow the King of Lyon, The third Princess of Lyon, Princess Elizabeth, who will be a major character in the story, decides to venture alone across the nation in search of the Seven Deadly Sins because only they have the power to defeat the Holy Knights and restore peace to the kingdom.
After a long search, Princess Elizabeth meets one of the Seven Deadly Sins who turns out to be the captain of the same Melodies, the Dragon of Wrath, who decides to help the princess with her objective of recovering the peace of the kingdom. In this anime, besides the typical magic of humans, there are also races of fairies, giants, demons and goddesses, the latter ended up giving up and losing practically all their power in the war of the four races against the demons 3000 years ago to defeat them and keep them away from the earth, that is why demons and goddesses are myths and stories of the past for humans today, but that will soon change. In the Seven Deadly Sins there is a fairy, a giant and a powerful spell whose name pays tribute to the greatest and most famous wizard of ancient legends, Merlin. For all these reasons we are presented with several chapters where magic is the center of attention.
Something really interesting and at the same time regrettable is that the animation of this anime was in decline as the seasons progressed, the first and second seasons have a very good and quite careful animation although the anime does not focus on extreme realism or incredible detail, their designs were very good. But in the third season everything went overboard delivering a lousy animation to say the least, it was really a very bad animation work for what the series was delivering and more if you consider that it was their third season and it is produced in collaboration with a great company like Netflix. All this was the cause of thousands of jokes in social networks where when pausing the chapters at certain times you could see a bad design and detail as if it were a child's coloring book or something like that, hundreds of fans uploaded designs, drawings and even scenes animated by themselves this season where they were much higher than the official one, something that was also talked about was the game that came out recently and which has a great animation being the same as everything that was expected to be the third season. I really hope that the fourth season fixes this and gives us a great quality in its animation because this anime is really good and fun to watch.

Como ya lo mencione la historia de este anime se basa en una época Medieval de castillos, magia, dioses y demonios. Todo se desarrolla en la nación de Britania en la cual el mayor reino de todos es el reino de Liones una gran y desarrollada ciudad la cual tiene como protectores a los caballeros Sacros los cuales cuentan con gran fuerza y habilidades siendo capaces de usar la magia de manera ofensiva como defensiva y llegando a ser muy devastadora. Toda la historia comienza cuando un día una gran masacre le ocurre a los caballeros Sacros y son inculpados del crimen los Siete Pecados Capitales quienes son los 7 caballeros más fuertes que tiene la Nación y que se encargaban de proteger todos los reinos, luego de ser inculpados y algunos de ellos ser capturados como otros escapar sin conocer su paradero el reino de Liones se sumerge en la opresión de los caballeros Sacros que controlan todo y hasta planean derrocar al Rey de Liones, La tercera Princesa del Liones la Princesa Elizabeth quien será un personaje principal con mucha importancia en la historia decide aventurarse sola por toda la nación en busca de los Siete Pecados Capitales debido a que solo ellos cuentan con el poder necesario para derrotar a los caballeros Sacros y devolver la paz al reino.
Luego de una larga búsqueda la Princesa Elizabeth se encuentra con uno de los Siete Pecados Capitales quien resulta ser justamente el capitán de los mismos Melodías el Dragón de la Ira quien decide ayudar a la princesa con su objetivo de recuperar la paz del reino y se embarcan juntos en la misión de buscar y encontrar a los demás Pecados para volver a reunir el grupo y cumplir su objetivo. En este anime además de la típica magia de los humanos también existen las razas de las hadas, gigantes, demonios y diosas, esta última termino entregando y perdiendo prácticamente todo su poder en la guerra de las cuatro razas contra los demonios de hace 3000 años para logar derrotarlos y alejarlos de la tierra, es por ello que en la actualidad los demonios y diosas son mitos e historias del pasado para los humanos pero eso pronto cambiara. En los Siete Pecados Capitales hay un hada, una gigante y una poderosa hechizara cuyo nombre hace tributo al mayor y más conocido mago de las leyendas antiguas, Merlín. Por todo ello se nos presentan varios capítulos donde la magia es el centro de atención.
Algo realmente interesante a la vez que lamentable es que la animación de este anime fue en decadencia según avanzaban las temporadas, la primera y segunda temporada tienen una animación muy buena y bastante cuidada si bien el anime no se enfoca en el realismo extremo o un detalle increíble, sus diseños eran muy buenos. Pero en la tercera temporada todo se fue por la borda entregando una animación pésima por decir poco, en verdad fue un trabajo de animación muy malo para lo que venía entregando la serie y más si se considera que era su tercera temporada y es producida en colaboración con una gran empresa como lo es Netflix. Todo esto fue causa de miles de burlas en las redes sociales en donde al pausar los capítulos en ciertos momentos se podía observar un pésimo diseño y detalle como si se tratase de un dibujo para colorear infantil o algo por el estilo, cientos de fan subieron diseños, dibujos y hasta escenas animadas por ellos mismo de esta temporada en donde eran muy superiores a la oficial, algo de lo que también se hablo fue sobre el juego que salió recientemente y el cual cuenta con una gran animación siendo el mismo todo lo que se esperaba que hubiera sido la tercera temporada. Realmente espero que la cuarta temporada arregle esto y nos entregue una gran calidad en su animación pues este anime en verdad es muy bueno y divertido de ver.
