As a fan of dark humor, it's only natural that dark comedies are one of my favorite genres, but I have to be honest: it's hard to find a good dark comedy, so much so that I often prefer to avoid them because they tend to end up being just plain awful.
For those who share this opinion, I think this film might pleasantly surprise you, or at least not leave you disappointed, which is something these days.
The beginning seemed like your typical sitcom, where the plot revolves around a group of friends. But it's not, so it's best not to skip the beginning too soon.
Spoiler
The plot revolves around a mediocre writer who is approached by a rather unusual fan who makes him a proposition, which starts to turn the protagonist's placid life upside down.
The good thing about this comedy is that the situations didn't feel forced and the updates were consistent, which made this film a pleasant surprise, especially for me since I only recognized one face.
