Tomb Raider Short Movie Review

Tomb Raider is a reboot of the game based on the action series Lara Croft, which also inspired two previous films.

The violence is largely bloodless but very intense, with many guns and gunshots, arrows, fights, blows, blows, stabbings and explosions. Lara Croft (Alicia Vikander) takes a lot of physical punishment, often crying in pain or terror; She also kills people without repercussion or remorse.

Lara wears a tight shirt throughout the game (in parallel to the games), but otherwise sex is not a problem. The language includes some uses of "shit" and a couple of "fuck" uses. It is said that a secondary character is drunk and then becomes ill with a hangover.

The film is very noisy and unfortunately it is not very funny, although it highlights the value of sacrifice and perseverance. But Croft's hardcore fans and / or viewers eager to watch action movies directed by women will probably give him a chance.

The film is directed by Roar Uthaug, Norwegian film director who after a broad career in the world of television and advertising, begins his career as a film director incurring the horror genre with the successful slasher Fritt Vilt (2008). The aforementioned movie was followed by two sequels that Uthaug did not direct. SYNOPSIS
