Tomb Raider con Angelina Jolie del 2001 es un film que me llena de nostalgia porque la vi a la edad de 14 años y llegue a jugar toda la franquicia de videojuegos hasta esa fecha, por eso la recuerdo con mucho cariño porque una buena parte de mi juventud la pase viendo el personaje de Lara Croft que sería llevada al cine.
Con base en lo anterior, vaya que tenía expectativas muy altas sobre lo que iba a ver, no conocía nada de actores, directores, etc, solo sabía que mi personaje iba a tener una historia en carne viva y Angelina cumple 100% del casting, tiene los rasgos de mi personaje favorito como son los labios, pechos, piernas al descubierto, cabello donde esto ultimo es una pasada y característica muy individual del personaje, su coleta.
Mas allá de los atributos físicos que SÍ que los tiene, el personaje tiene una personalidad bastante liberal, una actitud dominante plus grandes conocimientos en arqueología donde en esto último falla la película a mi parecer.
Angelina tiene el carácter de Lara Croft pero la trama no la logra explotar al máximo porque pienso se le pudo sacar mucho mas a la personalidad de Lara Croft.
Tiene un pasado que sinceramente me genera cero simpatía, no comprendo por que la necesidad en las películas de desarrollar este aspecto el cual es el menos interesante del personaje ya que tiene muchísimo mas que eso, se que los guionistas, escritores ven importante estos aspectos por los lazos que se generan etc pero Tomb Raider es Aventura, no es sentimentalismos, ella no es una mujer de sentimientos, es una guerrera, es una diosa de la aventura.
Puede haber momentos donde exprese estos sentimientos pero hay que saber dosificarlos porque no es el núcleo del personaje.

Afortunadamente esa época no es como la actual donde prácticamente se esta restringiendo el hecho de que se resalte los atributos femeninos cosa que me afecta enormemente porque esto no tiene que ver con los debates en la vida real, tiene que ver es con las esencias del personaje y este exige el ser voluptuosa, atractiva y en el film veo esas características lo cual me alegra enormemente.
Una película entretenida de ver donde la aventura y lo milenario están presentes, esto pienso es bueno para los niños y despierte en ellos esa curiosidad sobre que existía en el pasado, tal vez esto ultimo sea mucho porque generalmente están en el celular viendo tik toks pero en mi caso, en aquella época de los 2000, eso fue lo que mas me gusto ver, tiene una puntuación de 6 chiquitos de 10 ya que en mi caso cumple con el entretenimiento y veo físicamente a mi gran Lara Croft.

Fuera preferido enormemente que la aventura fuera sido ella sola en ese templo, sin embargo esta mezclada con las acciones que hacen los que se pudieran llamar antagonistas que están en ese momento para adornar el film con un espectáculo de balas, esto lo veo bien porque a fin de cuentas añade acción al film y aunque no soy fan de la acción en este caso, disfruto como hacen pedazos a las estatuas.
Ahora bien de lo que si soy fanático es de la estatua gigante que tiene mucha personalidad porque tal cual así son en Camboya, quiero rescatar esto porque ese es el problema de ahogar el film en acción, pueden perderse estos detalles. Estas estatuas están para infligir una emoción a quien les vea en el lugar, unas tienen caras con una estructura muy enojada y otras de paz, en el film noto que tiene tres caras y es una maravilla porque las cambia acorde a la batalla con Lara.
Usando sus clásicas pistolas a ambas manos, esto es sensualidad pura muchachones verla defenderse, como deforma uno de los rostros de la estatua con balas, eso si que fue divertido, lo recuerdo como si fuera sido ayer, comento que en mi adolescencia esta escena la repetía muchas veces.

El concepto planetario me agrado, de hecho es lo que quisiera se desarrollara completamente porque eso da mucho, enriquece el film y pasa casi desapercibido, hubo una civilización antigua, cual es esa? son preguntas que quedan como si nada Pero si es Tomb Raider, ella estudia esos lugares y nosotros aprendemos junto con ella esos secretos.
Estos conocimientos son lo mejor del personaje y se queda en darnos eso, los paisajes están, la figura femenina esta pero falta el conocimiento, no todo es hay un artefacto, se busca y fin, lo bonito es dar la historia tras de ese artefacto, no en la vida moderna si no en sus tiempos de mayor brillo. De verdad como pienso que el film fuera mejor con eso, claro es mi visión, admito este tipo de cosas pueden aburrir y la mayoría prefiera acción.
Como lo nombre en la sección sin spoilers, es un film entretenido, quienes jugaron al juego verán en Angelina el personaje, como disfrute esto, una trama entretenida que para mi cumple, la pase bien al ver la película y una escena que repetí muchas veces, 6 chiquitos de 10 con mucho cariño a Lara Croft y esa batalla contra La estatua gigante de cara alegre con seis brazos.
