Hay una serie que me había llamado mucho la atención cuando buscaba algunos tráilers por YouTube, esta serie la había mencionado antes en la comunidad llamada The Act, consta de una temporada con un total de 8 capítulos y una duración de 58 minutos aproximadamente y entra en los géneros de Drama y suspenso.

La serie fue basada en hechor real, conoceremos a Dee Dee interpretado por Patricia Arquette y a Gypsy Blanchard interpretado por Joey King.
La historia se centra en Gypsy, una niña de 19 años a la que intenta independizarse y alejarse de su madre Dee Dee.
Su madre es extremadamente tóxica y muy sobre protectora, Gypsy vive en un mundo de mentiras manipulado por su madre, por lo que padece de muchas enfermedades, no puede caminar, ingerir dulces, asustarse ni bañarse sola, todo lo tiene que hacer su madre.

Son muchas de las cosas por las que podemos pensar en esta serie, la historia es muy interesante y habla de un hecho real, en la que su madre sufre de un trastorno facticio infligido a otro, en la que es una mujer que puede hacer que otra persona quien ella esté cuidando pueda hacerla creer no solo mentalmente sino físicamente todas las enfermedades que ella desea.
Los problemas entre Dee Dee y Gypsy comienzan a ser de más gravedad cuando los deseos de Gypsy hacia los hombres son más intensos, a tal punto de hacer cosas mientras su madre duerme por los analgésicos, porque su madre también padece de una extraña enfermedad que desconocemos, la impide que tome el sueño y tiene que tomar somníferos para poder dormir.

La interpretación de las actrices en esta serie ha sido demasiado buena y para mí, como en todas las series y películas, hay personajes que podamos odiar, en mi caso es la de Dee Dee, todas las cosas malas que ha hecho para su hija son muy desagradables para mí, a fin tenerle un amor y un cariño a tal punto de “sacrificarse por ella”, aunque quien se sacrifica más en esta serie es Gypsy.
Pero con forma mayamos viendo la serie tendremos cierto desprecio por parte de Gypsy también, lo comprenderán cuando vean la serie, de verdad que se las recomiendo mucho.

The interpretation of the actresses in this series has been too good and for me, as in all series and movies, there are characters that we can hate, in my case is that of Dee Dee, all the bad things she has done for her daughter are very unpleasant for me, in order to have a love and affection for her to the point of "sacrificing for her", although who sacrifices more in this series is Gypsy.
But with the way we watch the series we will have some contempt for Gypsy too, you will understand when you watch the series, I really recommend it to you.
