As you know that I'm watching The last kingdom now a day and i already give my thoughts on season 1 and season 2 but believe me it takes almost two weeks to complete the season 3 because of my busy routine as series' are just for entertainment but we've other things to do which are prioritize.
The story of Uhtred Bebbenburg continue in season 3 too as he was warrior who wanted to get back his own homeland and want to rule there but everytime he gave oath to King Alfred of Wessex and his sword protect the England. But season three will make the story more intense and deep a bit emotional too.

Uhtred still searching for his place!!!
As in the last of season 2 he came back to his brother and called him Dane for a life and fight for his brother among the Dane. Although he's sexon by birth Dane by family who raise him but as a warrior he spent a lot of time within Saxon and fight with Danes. He was making his mind to fight with Danes this time.
But on the other side Lady Aethelflead has some threat from her husband and Haestan and she knows that Uhtred find his path and take his oath back from her father but still she sent a letter to Uhtred that he needs help of Uhtred one last time as her life is in danger so Uhtred decided to help Lady Aethelflead.
Obviously Danes and his brother Ragnar think that he abandoned them so Uhtred find a tag of Dane slayer.

Alfred and Uhtred!!!
In the start of season 3 Alfred seems so sick that his death is near, Alfred want that his son will be king after his Death but je needs Uhtred help but on the other side when Uhtred go back to Danes Alfred announced the uhtred as an outcast. Who have to remain outside of Wessex.
But somehow Uhtred have to come back to Wessex because he needs the blood of Tyra because Aethalworld killed his brother Ragnar which Uhtred doesn't know but to send his brother to Valhalla he needs his sister blood. When he's in Wessex Father beaoca arrange a private meeting of Alfred and Uhtred.
Uhtred saw the chronicles on the table where Alfred life was mentioned as a king and warrior and the name of Uhtred Bebbenburg didn't mentioned somewhere. Alfred said to him that world will forget you , Uhtred although said that people know him as an warrior but he said that people will die but books remain Alive.
Talking between and Uhtred and Alfred was so emotional as at the end Alfred asked his help to stay in Wessex till his son become king but if he wants to stay. And Uhtred said that we're bounded to each other and we need help of each other.
Alfred's death!!!
Alfred death scene was the scene which was very strong like he died when in his thoughts Uhtred came to him and said him I'll help Edward in future. After Alfred death thing's become change for uhtred because Alfred wife doesn't like the uhtred because she thinks he's the heathen and he's a sexon.
She become his a prisoner and send him to outside the Wessex in front of public but in public Uhtred show the letter of king Alfred and make a valuable speech.
It started from the first season when Uhtred said Alfred is not my king and end at season three like when Uhtred said Alred was my king.

Emotional side of Uhtred!!!
Uhtred lost too much in this season as first he lost his brother which was always his hope to go back to his brother Ragnar and fight with him. Later he lost the king Alfred which doubted on Uhtred but Alfred always give place and peace to Uhtred to settled down.

At the end Uhtred lost his sister tyra too, thyra death scene was emotional as she died exactly how her family died in fire but her death make me sad too. Season three was more emotional for uhtred from his personal belongings.
The Rise of enemy!!!
This was fun that only a seer name skade enter into Uhtred life as he win her from bloodhair in war but she makes the curse of him. And there's a war among Haestan, bloodhair and Uhtred because of her but skade want to live with Uhtred as her queen lol. But Uhtred have to clean this curse too.
Aethalworld spread the word fight with Uhtred and he gathered a large Danes army to defeat Uhtred and in order to become the king of Wessex while Aethalworld think he's cool but in actual he's a fool lol.
Overall opinion!!!
Season three just not about war's and politics but it's about loyality, friendship, love, emotions, revenge and fear of losing. War between Saxon and Dane was so good like it's interesting to watched brutality on screen but who'll win the next war and will Uhtred really get his Bebbenburg back which is his main aim.
As Destiny is All.
