Debo confesar que me enteré de esta película gracias a un amigo, lo llamare ahora en adelante mi; "Compañero de cine" el me había etiquetado en un video donde salían varias escenas de esa película y de inmediato supimos que queríamos verla .
Algo que me llamó también la atención fue el hecho de que es ambientada en los 90's ustedes saben mi fascinación por esa época, así que no dude ni un segundo en verla.

This cinematic film was directed by actor Jonah Hill, the truth was not having so many expectations because I had never seen a production of him, I did not even know he was a director, but when I found out it generated me much more curiosity to see the film.
It is about a 13 year old boy who seeks to establish a friendship and support in boys older than him, because in a way he seeks to be accepted, in addition to avoid the problems that are generated in his home.
I must confess that I found out about this movie thanks to a friend of mine, I will call him from now on my "movie buddy", he had tagged me in a video where several scenes of this movie were shown and we immediately knew that we wanted to see it.
Something that also caught my attention was the fact that it is set in the 90's, you know my fascination for that era, so I didn't hesitate for a second to watch it.

Trama .
La historia se desenvuelve de una forma muy organica, me gusta como se desarrollan los personajes, de alguna forma empatizamos con todos los involucrados y más allá de eso con Stevie que es el personaje principal, todos alguna vez tuvimos 13 años y entendemos la manera en que piensa y sus acciones.
Yo de cierta forma entendí sus acciones, cuando tenía 13 años buscaba juntarme con personas más grande que yo por distintas razones, una es que de alguna forma sentía que las personas de mi edad no me querían como amiga y segundo siempre tenia ese pensamiento de crecer rápido...de cierta forma me arrepiento de haber tenido ese pensamiento, porque no difrute al máximo mi infancia.
No llegue hacer cosas indebidas, pero si probé el alcohol desde esa edad y también el cigarro solo para probar, pero solo lo hice una vez en esa corta edad, después me refugie en series que no eran aptas para mi edad y todo eso influyó en querer crecer rápido, las personas que se juntaban conmigo no me incentivaban a nada, de cierta forma agradezco eso.
Stevie no tenía apoyo de nadie en su Hogar y por eso buscaba refugiarse en personas que si lo escucharan o lo aceptarán, vemos como su desarrollo cambia de inocente a alguien perdido y que pretende tener control de todo .
Al final nos dan a entender como todos de alguna forma buscaban lo mismo y a raíz de ahí construyen una amistad que posiblemente puede perdurar, sin embargo cada uno tenía un objetivo que alcanzar excepto por Stevie que a penas está en pleno crecimiento .

The story unfolds in a very organic way, I like how the characters develop, somehow we empathize with everyone involved and beyond that with Stevie who is the main character, we all once had 13 years and we understand the way he thinks and his actions.
I somehow understood his actions, when I was 13 years old I was looking to get together with people older than me for different reasons, one is that somehow I felt that people my age didn't want me as a friend and secondly I always had that thought of growing up fast...in a way I regret having had that thought, because I didn't enjoy my childhood to the fullest.
I did not get to do improper things, but I did try alcohol from that age and also cigarettes just to try, but I only did it once at that young age, then I took refuge in series that were not suitable for my age and all that influenced me to want to grow up fast, the people who joined me did not encourage me to anything, in a way I am grateful for that.
Stevie had no support from anyone at home and so he sought refuge in people who would listen to him or accept him, we see how his development changes from innocent to someone lost and who pretends to have control of everything.
In the end we are given to understand how all of them were somehow looking for the same thing and from there they build a friendship that can possibly last, however each one had a goal to achieve except for Stevie who is just growing up.
Visualmente.
Ame que hayan usado una cámara especial para filmar toda la película y tuviera ese efecto noventero, realmente eso fue fundamental para yo amar esta producción, porque al verla me hizo viajar al pasado, el formato en que estaba lo hizo más real, si yo no hubiera investigado sobre esta película hubiese pensado todavía que era una película de ese año .
Estéticamente también lo hicieron 10/10 los escenarios, los vestuarios y accesorios fueron tan de los 90's, al igual que la paleta de colores es muy de colores tierras.
Me gusto que la fascinación de todos los chicos en ese momento es la patineta, en ese tiempo de los 90's lo era y me gusta que los personajes tengan ese Hobbie en común.
Soundtrack.
El soundtrack lo ame, me gusta todas las canciones que pusieron, sobre todo "The start of thing" ahora me la paso escuchando todo el tiempo esa canción. El soundtrack resalta mucho en este film, queda perfectamente en cada escena.
Le doy un 10/10
¿Vale la pena?
Si lo vale, es una película que recomiendo mucho, puede llegar a ser perturbadora en ciertas partes, pero la verdad es que muchos de ustedes se sentirán identificados y aquellos que nacieron en los 90's tendrán mucha nostalgia. Considero que este actor hizo un trabajo excepcional, no siento que sea la mejor película, pero si es una película que se disfruta mucho y es bastante interesante como se desarrolla.

I loved that they used a special camera to film the whole movie and it had that 90's effect, that was really fundamental for me to love this production, because watching it made me travel to the past, the format it was in made it more real, if I hadn't researched about this movie I would have still thought it was a movie from that year.
Aesthetically it also made it 10/10 the sets, costumes and props were so 90's, just like the color palette is very earthy colors.
I liked that the fascination of all the kids at that time is skateboarding, in that time of the 90's it was and I like that the characters have that Hobbie in common.
Soundtrack.
I loved the soundtrack, I like all the songs they put, especially "The start of thing" now I spend all the time listening to that song. The soundtrack stands out a lot in this film, it fits perfectly in every scene.

Is it worth it?
Yes it is, it is a movie that I highly recommend, it can be disturbing in certain parts, but the truth is that many of you will feel identified and those who were born in the 90's will have a lot of nostalgia. I think this actor did an exceptional job, I don't feel it's the best movie, but it's a very enjoyable movie and it's quite interesting how it develops.
