Esta película es muy interesante, ya que me intriga mucho el cambio de piel que poseen estos seres marinos, sin mencionar lo extraño que son sus ojos y pieles, aunque también poseen una gran cola que los ayuda a moverse bajo el mar de manera mucho más rápida.

El hogar de los humanos se encuentra el otro lado de una vieja torre o bien un faro en ruinas, que es el lugar donde vive Alberto, desde la parte de atrás del faro se puede observar un pequeño poblado donde habitan los humanos.
Los padres de Luca se enteran de que está saliendo a la superficie, y como la única regla de los seres acuáticos es no salir a la superficie, la madre de Luca decide castigarlo y mandarlo con su tío en las profundidades del océano.
Luca no aprueba esa decisión que tomo su madre y su padre y decide escaparse con Alberto.
En esta parte de la película nos muestra la rebeldía en los hijos, de no querer obedecer las reglas de los padres por el simple hecho de querer conocer el mundo y que su sed de adquirir conocimiento es muy grande, hay algunos padres que no prestan atención a eso y no motivan a los hijos a superarse en lo que ellos desean, ha veces hay que saber escuchar a los hijos para que no se rebelen contra nosotros y no crean que no les prestamos atención.

Conoceremos a un personaje muy presumido, donde presume la moto que tanto Alberto desea la cual es la misma Vespa, una hermosa moto de color rojo, su dueño es Ercole Visconti, quien le da una supuesta “Bienvenida” al poblado a Luca y a Alberto, estará molesto, ya que casi tumba su preciada moto debido a una pelota que Luca pateo.

Esta parte de la película nos muestra el deseo de los niños, no importa lo caro que este, siempre se esforzaran y trabajaran duro para poder obtener lo que desean, y no me refiero nada más a los niños, sino en la vida diaria, muchos de nosotros siempre deseamos muchas cosas día tras día, y siempre trabajamos duro día y noche para poder obtener eso que deseamos.
Esta película deja mucha enseñanza y también nos ayuda a comprender lo que es el trabajo en equipo y el valor de la amistad, Luca es perfecta para los niños, ya que les dejara una buena enseñanza.

Conoceremos al padre de Giulia, un pescador experto y cazador de criaturas marinas llamado Massimo, este hombre no posee un brazo, pero no es porque lo perdiera, sino que vino al mundo con un solo brazo.
Este personaje me recuerda al padre de Flint loco de la película lluvia de Aburguesas, salvo que esta vez posee pelo dos cejas normales y un solo brazo, aunque ambos son corpulentos y fuertes, también tiene una mirada un poco graciosa, ya que no se le puede ver los ojos y al hacerlo muestra escenas un poco graciosas.
Luca y Alberto luchan en todo el poblado para no mostrar sus verdaderos rostros, puesto que a la más mínima gota de agua su piel cambia de apariencia mostrando las escamas en el lugar donde toca el agua en el cuerpo.
En Muchas ocasiones casi muestran su verdadera identidad ante los humanos, puesto que algunos sospechan de ellos, entre ellos un gato que tiene el padre de Giulia, ellos necesitaran dinero para poder participar en el concurso, puesto que le piden al padre de Giulia les dé dinero para participar, puesto que pondrá a trabajar a Luca y a Alberto para ir a pescar muchos peses para así venderlos y obtener el dinero.
Luca y Alberto como son seres acuáticos conocen todo sobre los peces y los lugares en la que ellos habitan, puesto que le mostraran el camino al padre de Giulia para poder atrapar a muchos peses.

Comienza la competencia y todos participan para conseguir la victoria, recordemos que Luca y Alberto solo participan para comprar la moto Vespa con el dinero del ganador, mientras que Giulia solo participa para acabar con el reino del terror de Ercole, la carrera consiste en natación, comer pasta y manejar bicicleta en una subida y luego bajada.
Al final de la película todos los humanos conocen la verdadera identidad de Luca y Alberto, puesto que intentaran casarlos y así adquirir la recompensa por cazar a las criaturas marinas, pero gracias al padre de Giulia, Massimo impide que los atrapen haciendo que las criaturas marinas y humanos vivan en armonía y en sana paz.
Los chicos compran la moto, puesto que Alberto decide venderla para que Luca baya a la escuela y acompañe a Giulia en los estudios, por supuesto los padres de Luca se lo permitirán y los dejaran estudiar en la escuela.
Fue muy emocionante ver una película como esta, como siempre las películas de Disney Pixar no dejan de sorprenderme, también tiene personajes muy interesantes muy similares a otros que hemos visto en otras películas, si aún no lo has visto te animo a verla.
