La historia de un niño especial con ganas de explorar y conocer el mundo de la mano de sus mejores amigos… “Luca”
Siempre es especial ver las historias en donde un grupo de niños forman una gran amistad, todo como base unas vacaciones en donde exploran aventuras que los hace descubrir cosas nuevas, enfrentar miedos y hasta superarlos, una época que nunca olvidaran porque fue el inicio de su etapa de crecimiento, este tipo de historias "Coming of Age”, siempre serán especiales porque tienen la posibilidad de conectarse con muchas personas al hacer recordar divertidas y hasta peligrosas ocurrencias de cuando fuimos niños, recordar amistades, lugares y es que sin ninguna duda estas historias activan nostalgia y nos hace viajar a esos buenos momentos en donde añoramos vivir primero con miedo de hacer algo peligros y después superarlos aunque siga siendo peligroso, pero creo que ahí está lo que hace que esos momentos sean inolvidables y mejor aún que sean momentos que al recordar puedan darnos una gran felicidad; existen muchas películas y series de tv que tratan este tema desde diferente puntos de vista, unos con comedia, otros con drama y hasta de terror, pero como se muestra en este film puedo decir que es algo especial.

The story of a special boy who wants to explore and know the world by the hand of his best friends... "Luca"
It is always special to see the stories where a group of children form a great friendship, all based on a vacation where they explore adventures that makes them discover new things, face fears and even overcome them, a time they will never forget because it was the beginning of their growth stage, this kind of stories "Coming of Age", will always be special because they have the possibility to connect with many people by remembering funny and even dangerous occurrences when we were children, remembering friendships, places and without any doubt these stories activate nostalgia and make us travel to those good times where we long to live first with fear of doing something dangerous and then overcome them even if it is still dangerous, but I think that's what makes those moments unforgettable and even better that they are moments that when remembering can give us great happiness; there are many movies and tv series that deal with this subject from different points of view, some with comedy, others with drama and even horror, but as shown in this film I can say that it is something special.
"Luca” nos relata la historia de un buen niño que ayuda en los diferentes quehaceres de su hogar, él vive junto a sus padres y su abuela, en donde su madre siempre está preocupada y muy pendiente de que nada malo le suceda a él (como toda madre), todos los días es una monótono para Luca, el cual es despertar, sacar al rebaño pastar, regresar a su casa y dormir, pero eso cambiara cuando conozca a “Alberto”, un chico un poco mayor que le brindara descubrir un nuevo mundo, uno en donde existe muchas cosas diferentes y que le hará ver que la vida no es solo hacer lo mismo todos los días, esto le gusta tanto a Luca que deberá decidir dejar su hogar en el mar e irse a aventurarse en la superficie… Sí, Luca un mostro marino decide conocer el mundo desde su inocencia y su amistad con Alberto (otro mostro marino) aventurándose en un lugar en donde los humanos lo ven solamente como monstruos.
"Luca" tells the story of a good boy who helps in the different chores at home, he lives with his parents and grandmother, where his mother is always worried and very aware that nothing bad happens to him (like every mother), every day is a monotonous for Luca, which is to wake up, take the flock out to pasture, but that will change when he meets "Alberto", a slightly older boy who will offer him to discover a new world, one where there are many different things and that will make him see that life is not just doing the same thing every day, this pleases Luca so much that he must decide to leave his home in the sea and go to venture on the surface... Yes, Luca a sea monster decides to know the world from his innocence and his friendship with Alberto (another sea monster) venturing into a place where humans see him only as monsters.
Film dirigido por Enrico Casarosa director italiano que fue nominado al Oscar en el 2011 por su corto animado llamado “La Luna”; este nuevo film de Pixar significa para este director su primera película completa, en la cual trata de contar su historia cuando era niño en sus vacaciones de verano y las amistades que conoció, sin ninguna duda este es un hermoso film, la animación es especial, aunque los diseños de sus personas no son semejantes a como nos vemos en la realidad, creo que el diseños es justo para la historia y es evidente la influencia de diseños de personajes visto en films de Stop- Motion hecho por el director Wes Anderson; personalmente antes de ver este tipo de diseños, esto personajes en su forma humana me hicieron recordar a diferentes tipo de anime, creo que existe una clara influencia en diseño japonés en especial en personajes como “Giulia” o el de su padre y claramente el del gato, “Machiavelli”; ahora si los personajes son caricaturescos, la ciudad de Portorosso es otra cosa, las casas, la plaza, el puerto, el mar, la arena, todo es algo especial, impresionante todo, es uno de los puntos positivos de esta historia, las tomas y lo detallado de cada cosa que aparece en escena es algo impresionante, me gustó todo lo hecho en este film.
La historia es de su director, pero el guion es desarrollado por Jesse Andrews y Mike Jones, creo que estos dos guionistas hacen un buen complemento de lo pensado por Casarosa, Andrews sabe lo que es escribir este tipo de historias Coming of Age y Jones quien ya tiene experiencia en Pixar al escribir el guion de “Soul”, sin ninguna duda ambos escritores fueron perfectos para terminar de desarrollar esta historia, le dieron el toque de aventura, la inocencia, la dulzura y hasta el drama para hacerla mucho mejor, sin esconder que se tomó influencia de muchos otros films y para mí esto hace que este film sea un excelente acumulo de muchas cosas que seguro como otras historias se pueden desarrollar en una mucho más larga, tal vez hasta sería lo ideal, pero en la hora y media de duración creo que se hicieron todo lo posible por contar todo lo que querían en una gran película sobre descubrimientos y la amistad.
Film directed by Enrico Casarosa Italian director who was nominated for an Oscar in 2011 for his animated short called "La Luna"; this new Pixar film means for this director his first complete film, in which he tries to tell his story as a child on his summer vacation and the friendships he met, without any doubt this is a beautiful film, the animation is special, although the designs of his people are not similar to how we see in reality, I think the designs are just right for the story and it is evident the influence of character designs seen in Stop Motion films made by the director Wes Anderson; personally before seeing this kind of designs, this characters in their human form reminded me of different kind of anime, I think there is a clear influence in Japanese design especially in characters like "Giulia" or her father's and clearly the cat's, "Machiavelli"; now if the characters are cartoonish, the city of Portorosso is something else, the houses, the square, the port, the sea, the sand, everything is something special, everything is impressive, is one of the positive points of this story, the shots and the detail of everything that appears in scene is something impressive, I liked everything done in this film.
The story is from its director, but the script is developed by Jesse Andrews and Mike Jones, I think these two writers make a good complement to what was thought by Casarosa, Andrews knows what it is to write this kind of stories Coming of Age and Jones who already has experience in Pixar by writing the script of "Soul", without any doubt both writers were perfect to finish developing this story, they gave the touch of adventure, the innocence, the sweetness and even the drama to make it much better, without hiding that they took influence from many other films and for me this makes this film an excellent accumulation of many things that for sure like other stories can be developed in a much longer one, maybe it would even be ideal, but in the hour and a half of duration I think they did their best to tell everything they wanted in a great film about discoveries and friendship.
Los personajes, todos son muy especiales, todos muy bien escritos y desarrollados, me enfocare en los importantes, en Luca y Alberto, el primero es lo que todo niño debe ser, no hablo de lo tímido sino de cómo se debe comportar en un hogar donde existe claros valores de respeto para crear personas de bien a esto le sumo lo que más me ha gustado de este personaje y es como al escuchar cualquier cosa que le fascina inmediatamente su mente viaja gracias a su gran imaginación, eso junto a la inocencia es lo que me deja este personaje, me hizo recordar cuando era niño y todo lo imaginaba haciéndome viajar por el mundo y más allá, Luca es un gran personaje; de Alberto puedo decir que es todo lo contrario que el Luca, es cuidadoso para algunas cosas, pero pareciera no tener miedo a nada, es directo, pero solitario esta tal vez pueda ser la única y gran diferencia que tiene con su amigo y es por eso que ambos se complementan tan bien ya que se necesitan para soñar y aventurarse por el mundo, Luca quiere descubrir al mundo, Alberto solo quiere compañía y está dispuesto a todo para no seguir solo en el mundo, ambos personajes se necesitan y cuando están juntos son los mejores amigos del mundo.
The characters are all very special, all very well written and developed, I will focus on the important ones, Luca and Alberto, the first is what every child should be, I'm not talking about the shy but how to behave in a home where there are clear values of respect to create good people to this I add what I liked most about this character and how to listen to anything that fascinates him immediately his mind travels thanks to his great imagination, that together with the innocence is what this character leaves me, he made me remember when I was a child and I imagined everything making me travel around the world and beyond, Luca is a great character; Of Alberto I can say that he is the opposite of Luca, he is careful for some things, but seems not to be afraid of anything, he is direct, but lonely, this may be the only and big difference he has with his friend and that is why both complement each other so well because they need each other to dream and venture into the world, Luca wants to discover the world, Alberto just wants company and is willing to do anything to not be alone in the world, both characters need each other and when they are together they are the best friends in the world.
Luca es magistral, una de las mejores que he visto en este año, me gusta las historias sobre amistad, que se vean a esos amigos vivir aventuras, arriesgarse por ellos, que tengan diferencias y que resuelvan sus problemas, esto es lo mejor porque a pesar de ser un film animado, esta historia tiene mucha de realidad porque todos en algún momento de nuestras vidas hemos tenido este tipo de amistades, en ciertos momentos podemos ser los tímidos que necesitamos del empujón para hacer cualquier cosa o seremos los que demos la motivación para que otros logren lo que piensan que es incansable, esto es algo muy bien hecho de este film y es como la nostalgia hace que podamos regresar a esos buenos momentos que tuvimos de niño y adolecente en donde descubrimos buenas amistades y que con suerte podemos seguir manteniendo; me gustó mucho este film el cual para mi es sobre la amistad, una pura, creada desde la inocencia de un chico que descubrió que existe un mundo muy grande y que en ese mundo existe buenas personas dispuestas a hacer lo que sea para que pueda alcanzar sus sueños, este film es esperanzador y eso la hace mejor y hasta creo que es necesario para este tiempo que vivimos, es por eso que recomiendo este film, véanlo, disfruten esta historia, es rápida, cómica, buena animación, buenos personajes y con la historia más universal que he visto.
Luca is masterful, one of the best I have seen this year, I like stories about friendship, that you see those friends living adventures, taking risks for them, having differences and solving their problems, this is the best because despite being an animated film, this story has a lot of reality because all of us at some point in our lives have had this kind of friendships, at certain moments we can be the shy ones who need the push to do anything or we will be the ones who give the motivation for others to achieve what they think is tireless, this is something very well done in this film and it is how nostalgia makes us go back to those good times we had as a child and teenager where we discovered good friendships and hopefully we can continue to maintain them; I really liked this film which for me is about friendship, a pure one, created from the innocence of a boy who discovered that there is a big world and that in that world there are good people willing to do whatever it takes to achieve their dreams, this film is hopeful and that makes it better and I even think it is necessary for this time we live in, that is why I recommend this film, see it, enjoy this story, it is fast, funny, good animation, good characters and with the most universal story I've seen.
