La película nos muestra a Luca, un monstruo marino, su familia no lo deja salir a la superficie debido a los "grandes peligros" que hay afuera, para la sorpresa de luca es que cuando decida salir a la superficie con su amigo Alberto ve todo tranquilo, es más, cuando el se seca del agua se convierte en una persona normal y corriente, viviendo así una aventura fuera del agua con su amigo Alberto, todo esto mientras sus padres preocupados lo buscan.

No se si yo fui el único pero la base principal de la película me hizo acordar mucho a la película de Hotel Transilvania, "monstruos que no pueden salir de su zona de comfort por miedo", y en este caso Luca hace un poco el papel de Mavis. No digo que la película sea mala ni nada por el estilo, solo que quise destacar el parecido que yo le encontré.

La pelicula es bastante entretenida, tiene una buena premisa, y se va desarrollando a un buen ritmo, no es para nada pesada de ver, la película tiene momentos cómicos, momentos tristes y momentos felices, esta bastante equilibrada en ese sentido.

Uno de los puntos más destacables de esta película es su hermosa animación, de verdad es impresionante como Pixar se supera cada vez más en cuanto a la animación, todo es muy bonito visualmente, los colores, la fluidez de las imágenes, todo!, solo por la animación ya me parece suficiente para verla.

La verdad es que si, es muy entretenida, tiene una buena historia, tampoco es la más innovadora del mundo, pero la desarrolla de una buena forma, tiene una Bonita animación y un bonito mensaje, además que es una película con una duración de una hora y media, así que si la recomiendo.
