City of God (2002) by Fernando Meirelles & Kátia Lund (REVIEW)

Review by @lost108 · 2686d · of City of God

The movie "City of God" is another masterpiece of a movie. It is a Brazillian movie with a very interesting story and it has a lot of positive critics and reviews.

This movie is great because the story is happening in Rio de Janeiro's suburbs and tells a powerful story by a young kid who struggles in that world to become a photographer.

The movie is unique and very different then the rest of the movies, besides that, it is created by a true story, it feels like a documentary with young kids who are struggling to survive and become what they dreamed of in a criminal enviroment.
