If you like mystery movies then this movie is definitely for you. And if you are not a mystery guy and you want to catch the train, I will recommend you to start with this one, I know it's from 2000 but trust me, it's worth it!
What does make this movie a masterpiece? Well here is my review:
It's all about a guy named Leonard (Guy Pearce) who's wife got raped and killed, and to catch his murdered he has to reclaim his memory loss.
Imagine you woke up and find out that your loved one is dead, killed and raped by cold blood murdered and you can't remember anything, all you have is Polaroid photo of her, some tattoos to try to remember what happened and a short-term memory loss that gives you no clue what happened that day, it sucks but that's what happened to Leonard.
He lost his memory after the murderer raped and killed his wife, after the shocking scenes he beat Leonard causing him big injuries that will cause memory loss.
Leonard can't retain any information about the accident, all he has is copious notes, photography and some pieces of information to start him going.
He want to get his revenge as soon as possible, he can't live normally knowing that the killer walks freely on the streets.
On his journey, he gets help by barmaid Natalie and Teddy who claims to be his friend.
But Leonard is in a big shock and he can't trust anyone.
That's it, a really nice movie by Christopher Nolan, after this movie you would love to watch more movies from Nolan, and guess what, I will be doing reviews of another Nolan movies (mysteries mostly), so stay tuned and you will have great movies to add to your watch-list.
RATING: 10/10
Enjoy!
