One of Disney's most recent productions of which I didn't really expect much, since Disney in recent years has gone from focusing on quality to focusing on quantity. I would like to clarify that I will treat some topics of the movie in a superficial way to avoid spoilers. Let's start.

TRAMA DE LA PELÍCULA

The plot tells us that mankind has been turned to stone by dark creatures called drums that were a kind of plague and the pesticides in this case would be the Dragons. But the plague turned out to be stronger than the pesticides and turned the dragons into stone. All except one, which ended with the drums and disappeared. The very greedy humanity made a series of actions that gave rise to the drums return and only a few humans on earth live without being statues. Now our protagonist aka Raya must find the last dragon and return humanity to normality.
La trama nos dice que la humanidad ha sido convertida en piedra por unas criaturas oscuras llamadas drums que eran una especie de plaga y los plaguicidas en este caso serían los Dragones. Pero la plaga resulto ser más fuerte que los plaguicidas y convirtieron a los dragones en piedra. A todos menos a uno, el cual acabo con los drums y desapareció. La humanidad bien codiciosa hacen una serie de acciones que da pie a que los drums vuelvan y solo unos pocos humanos sobre la tierra viven sin ser estatuas. Ahora nuestra protagonista aka Raya debe encontrar al último dragón y devolver la humanidad a la normalidad.
EL INICIO
THE BEGINNING
La verdad para mí fue un buen toque que se explicara la historia detrás de la historia de la forma en que lo hicieron, igual que en Moana. Lo que no me gusto del todo es que me pareció algo reciclado. No me malentiendan, está bien, había que ahorrar en el presupuesto y no digo que lo odie, solo me hubiese gustado ver un poco más de originalidad. Eso es todo, del resto me encanto el uso de este recurso. ya que añade otro tipo de animación y es mejor que un aburrido dialogo de la historia del continente o algo así.

Luego la historia va tomando un ritmo constante, no va muy rápido ni muy lento y todo lo que necesita ser entendido es explicado de manera sencilla para que todos puedan entenderlo. Después de todo, es una película para niños.
La resolución del conflicto me gusto. Aunque hubo un pequeño detalle, en cierto momento se vuelve predecible lo que va a pasar. Pero no lo profundizare para no dar spoilers.
La historia tiene muy buenos giros, algunos predecibles como dije anteriormente, pero otros son sorprendentes. Lo cual creo que está muy bien ya que le da cierto balance a la película.
Luego la historia va tomando un ritmo constante, no va muy rápido ni muy lento y todo lo que necesita ser entendido es explicado de manera sencilla para que todos puedan entenderlo. Después de todo, es una película para niños.

MI OPINIÓN SOBRE LA PELÍCULA
MY OPINION ABOUT THE MOVIE
La verdad es que yo soy muy crítico con casi todo. Y las películas no son la excepción, más aun cuando sé que es una película animada y aún más cuando se trata de Disney. Y no me dejo llevar por la opinión popular, ya que casi todo el mundo quedo encantado con Soul, Coco e Intensamente y para mí no fueron la gran cosa.
La verdad es que esta película me gustó mucho a pesar de la poca fe que le tuve, no me gustaba tanto una película de Disney desde Moana y aquí tuve la misma sensación.
Mi profesoras de producción Audiovisual decía muchas cosas, la mayoría de lo que decía no me convencía, pero había dos cosas en las que le doy la razón la primera es “Si una película no me llama la atención en los primeros 5 minutos la dejo de ver.” Y la verdad es que los primeros 5 minutos de un filme son cruciales vara captar espectadores. Raya y el último dragón cumple con este requisito, ya que desde el primer minuto te atrae con la historia detrás de la historia.
La otra cosa que decía mi profesora y en la que tenía razón era “Una película no es una buena película sin un mensaje.” Y Raya cumple con esto y más, ya que tiene muchos mensajes en su trama, ayuda a respaldar los valores y no es una aburrida película sobre el poder del amor y la amistad, si toca esos temas, pero de manera entretenida y para nada pesada. Además de los muchos mensajes que nos deja uno de mis favoritos es que todos somos habitantes del mundo, por ello debemos aprender a convivir en paz unos con otros.
