Bienvenidos sean todos queridos amigas y amigos Cinéfilos, Geeks, Gamers y amantes de la cultura pop en general, como podrán ver en el titulo hoy hablare de una película que básicamente fue hecha para cada uno de nosotros ya que describe el paraíso en el que muchos quisiéramos llegar a vivir en algún momento de nuestras vidas, ¿O acaso nunca han soñado en vivir dentro de aquella película o videojuego que tanto les gustó? Y que además puedas realizar los crossover más locos y geniales que tu mente pueda crear… ¡Quiero vivir en la salsa, quiero vivir en la salsa!, Perdón me desasocie por un segundo, pero en fin, antes de que esto vuelva a suceder comencemos con la review.
Welcome to all dear friends and friends Cinephiles, Geeks, Gamers and pop culture lovers in general, as you can see in the title today I will talk about a movie that basically was made for each of us as it describes the paradise in which many of us would like to live at some point in our lives, or have you never dreamed of living in that movie or video game that you liked so much? And you can also make the crossover craziest and coolest that your mind can create ... I want to live in the sauce, I want to live in the sauce, sorry I disassociated myself for a second, but anyway, before this happens again let's start with the review.
Ready Player One es una película dirigida por Steven Spielberg (¿Hay algo que este hombre no haga bien?) Producido principalmente por Warner Bros y Amblin Entretaiment, basada en un libro del mismo nombre la cual salió a los cines en marzo del 2018 y tiene una duración de 2 horas con 20 minutos, un poco larga en comparación a la mayoría de las producciones pero en mi opinión lo vale y tampoco es como que sea la edición del director de el señor de los anillos.
Ready Player One is a movie directed by Steven Spielberg (Is there anything this man doesn't do well?) Produced mainly by Warner Bros and Amblin Entretaiment, based on a book of the same name which came out in theaters in March 2018 and has a duration of 2 hours with 20 minutes, a little long compared to most productions but in my opinion it's worth it and it's not like it's the director's cut of Lord of the Rings either.
PLOT AND STORY
TRAMA E HISTORIA
La historia se sitúa en el año 2045, donde luego de muchas guerras, entre ella la guerra de consolas, muchas ciudades quedaron en estado deplorable, pero no evitaría que en estas ciudades cada persona tenga un “OASIS” (Ontologically Anthropocentric Sensory Immersive Simulation en inglés) equipo que resulto victorioso en la tan tediosa guerra de las consolas, así es, ni Nintendo ni Play Station o Xbox, todos valieron chicharrón ante OASIS.
En Oasis las personas pueden ser quienes quieran, desde personajes originales o tomar el papel de sus personajes favoritos de videojuegos o películas mediante el uso de Skins y equipo, aquí al perder lo pierdes todo, no mueres, pero muchos lo preferirían ya que el dinero del juego es dinero real y muchos lo invierten todo en equipo para tratar de ganar aún más cumpliendo misiones o encontrando objetos de valor para la venta, todo esto nos lo hace saber Wade Watts, uno de los mayores frikis de este mundo el cual solo tiene 3 amigos a los cuales no conoce fuera de OASIS, lo interesante de la historia es que hay una búsqueda que lleva efectuándose desde la muerte del creador de Oasis, quien en su funeral declaro que había dejado una serie de Easter Eggs los cuales guiarían a quien lo mereciera al premio mayor, el título de propietario de Oasis y es así como todos comienzan una búsqueda frenética a los Easter eggs que los guiaran a las llaves para reclamar el tan ansiado premio, pero la codicia atrae a personas que están dispuestas a hacer lo que sea por conseguir este premio, incluso a un propietario de la segunda mayor empresa de internet del mundo, el cual tiene un ejército a su mando en búsqueda del dichoso premio y hará lo que sea necesario para llegar incluso ¿Arremeter contra la vida de inocentes? Vaya…
En Oasis las personas pueden ser quienes quieran, desde personajes originales o tomar el papel de sus personajes favoritos de videojuegos o películas mediante el uso de Skins y equipo, aquí al perder lo pierdes todo, no mueres, pero muchos lo preferirían ya que el dinero del juego es dinero real y muchos lo invierten todo en equipo para tratar de ganar aún más cumpliendo misiones o encontrando objetos de valor para la venta, todo esto nos lo hace saber Wade Watts, uno de los mayores frikis de este mundo el cual solo tiene 3 amigos a los cuales no conoce fuera de OASIS, lo interesante de la historia es que hay una búsqueda que lleva efectuándose desde la muerte del creador de Oasis, quien en su funeral declaro que había dejado una serie de Easter Eggs los cuales guiarían a quien lo mereciera al premio mayor, el título de propietario de Oasis y es así como todos comienzan una búsqueda frenética a los Easter eggs que los guiaran a las llaves para reclamar el tan ansiado premio, pero la codicia atrae a personas que están dispuestas a hacer lo que sea por conseguir este premio, incluso a un propietario de la segunda mayor empresa de internet del mundo, el cual tiene un ejército a su mando en búsqueda del dichoso premio y hará lo que sea necesario para llegar incluso ¿Arremeter contra la vida de inocentes? CHARACTERS
PERSONAJES
Here the cast of characters is very varied and inclusive because being a game in which everyone is immersed there are all kinds of people, even among the main protagonists we find an African American and a couple of young Asians and each character brings value to the story, they are not there just to adorn the protagonist, I must admit that I loved Art3mis, both inside and outside the OASIS and I loved the Ship between her and Parzival.
Aquí el reparto de personajes es muy variado e inclusivo ya que al ser un juego en el que está inmerso todo el mundo hay todo tipo de personas, incluso entre los protagonistas principales encontramos una afroamericana y un par de jóvenes asiáticos y cada personaje aporta valor a la historia, no están ahí solo para adornar al protagonista, debo admitir que ame a Art3mis, tanto dentro como fuera de OASIS y me encantó el Ship entre ella y Parzival.
SOUNDTRACK
BANDA SONORA
Well, being a film dedicated to pop culture, mostly to the geek side of it, they could not put anything else that was not according to the plot. And what more according to the plot than the music of the 70's 80's and 90's? It is not something that stands out very much since there is not much OST (Original Soundtrack) but when it is required the soundtrack reaches the level of epicness necessary for each scene, so in summary, as the good Homer would say: "It's not bad, but... It's not fabulous".
Pues al ser una película dedicada a la cultura pop, más que todo al lado geek de esta, no podían colocar otra cosa que no fuera acorde a la trama ¿Y que más acorde a la trama que la música de los 70´s 80´s y 90´s? No es algo que destaque mucho ya que no hay mucho OST (Original Soundtrack) Pero cuando lo requiere el soundtrack alcanza el nivel de épiquismo necesario para cada escena, así que en resumen, como lo diría el buen Homero: “No está mal, pero… No es fabuloso”.

OPINIÓN DE LA PELÍCULA
The truth is that it is very good and entertaining, perfect to have a good time, although I do not recommend watching it with children because there is a moment in the plot where they get into the movie "The Shining" and if Aech is scared, I do not think it is good for children to see it.
It has very good comedy and a very good level of romance that doesn't get too sappy and balances nicely with the comedy moments, a touch that is appreciated.
I really liked how the romance between Parzival and Art3mis was handled and the concept of long distance friends, as someone who has them I appreciate the portrayal.
The story is very well executed although there are a few things that don't make sense, but hey, putting so much Fanservice and hype into a work and having it look as good as it does here is not easy at all.

La verdad es que es muy buena y entretenida, perfecta para pasar un buen rato, aunque no recomiendo mucho verla con niños porque hay un momento de la trama en la que se meten a la película de “El resplandor” y si Hache se asusta, no creo que sea bueno que lo vean los niños.
Tiene muy buena comedia y un nivel de romance muy bueno que no se vuelve muy meloso y se balancea muy bien con los momentos de comedia, un toque que se agradece.
Me gustó mucho como se manejó el romance entre Parzival y Art3mis y el concepto de los amigos a distancia, como alguien que los tiene agradezco la representación.
La historia está muy bien ejecutada aunque quedan algunas cosas sin sentido, pero hey, meter tanto Fanservice y hype en una obra y que quede tan bien como aquí no es nada fácil.
La verdad es que a mí la película me encantó y es debido a que es muy fácil identificarse con el protagonista o imaginar estar dentro de la película, como mencione anteriormente tiene muy buen humor, buen romance, hay suspenso, momentos de tensión e incluso un poco de terror, creo que en este sentido es muy completa, sin dudas se la recomiendo a todos aquellos Geeks que aún no la hayan visto.
