Lo mejor de esta película es que está basada en hechos reales, es una historia que te hace ver un rayo de esperanza en una sociedad corrompida y con una pérdida de valores terrible, donde las minorías se ven amenazadas y tratan de ganar el control para poder hacer valer sus derechos.

🎬 Trama de Escritores de la Libertad
Esta película narra la lucha que tuvo la profesora Erin Gruwell, con estudiantes no avanzados del programa de integración escolar. Estos estudiantes eran considerados como casos perdidos, incluso por los directivos de la escuela, quienes pensaban que no valía la pena exigirles mucho ni destinar muchos recursos para su educación, porque la realidad era que poco a poco ellos mismos terminaban desertando. Además, reconoce la dura vida que les tocaba llevar a estos adolescentes, pensaban que era una buena medida no exigirles mucho, pues no tendrían cómo rendir.

En primer lugar, ella tuvo que luchar contra el sistema escolar y hacer grandes sacrificios personales para poder llevar a cabo las diferentes herramientas que ella pensaba podían funcionar.
A lo largo de la película, vemos como grupos minoritarios en Estados Unidos, representados por estudiantes, se aferran a sus comunidades y ven al resto como enemigos, también como consecuencia del mismo sistema. En la misma escuela y mas a fondo en el salón de clases, vemos clanes claramente diferenciados de diferentes grupos raciales, latinos, asiaticos, personas de color y aunque parezca un poco gracioso, solo hay un estudiante blanco dentro de todo ese mestizaje.
Por supuesto, este estudiante se sentía atemorizado en el grupo. Pero las estrategias de la profesora surtieron su efecto y juntos lograron cosas increíbles, ¿como cuáles? Pues tienes que ver la película. Esta profesora les hizo ver que delante de su propia realidad, hay realidades mayores y aunque se sienten como una minoría en un mundo enemigo, muchos otros han vivido situaciones similares e incluso a mayor escala.
El trabajo de esta profesora logró grandes cosas. El libro en el que está basado esta película, recoge las historias de los estudiantes de esa aula 203 donde pudo dedicarse en cuerpo y alma y obtener resultados grandiosos. Estas estrategias de ensayo y error, que surtieron tanto efecto, fueron piloto para la implementación de programas similares en otras escuelas, promovidos por la misma profesora y un grupo de sus estudiantes en la vida real.

This film chronicles the struggle that teacher Erin Gruwell had, with non-advanced students in the school integration program. These students were considered lost cases, even by the school administrators, who thought that it was not worthwhile to demand much from them or allocate many resources for their education, because the reality was that little by little they themselves ended up dropping out. In the school itself and more deeply in the classroom, we see clearly differentiated clans of different racial groups, Latinos, Asians, people of color and although it seems a little funny, there is only one white student within all that miscegenation.
Of course, this student felt frightened in the group. But the teacher's strategies worked and together they accomplished amazing things, like what? Well, you have to see the movie. This teacher made them see that in front of their own reality, there are greater realities and although they feel like a minority in an enemy world, many others have lived similar situations and even on a larger scale.
