¡Feliz jueves! Espero que tengan un grandioso día, hoy después de tanto pensarlo quisiera compartir con ustedes un tema que me emociona muchísimo, pues, luego de 12 años la famosa serie de zombies The Walking Dead ha finalizado, pero, la mejor parte es que yo también terminé de verla y eso es algo que en lo personal me llena de mucho orgullo porque no muchas personas logran terminar con una serie tan extensa y tratándose de esta mucho más ya que en cierto momento parte de la audiencia perdió el interés en ella y aunque yo fui una de esas personas hace unos meses decidí continuar con esta serie para terminar con ella y cerrar ese “capítulo” de mi vida, hoy les hablo como ha sido mi experiencia y lo que me ha parecido luego de finalizar, espero que sea de su agrado.

I hope you have a great day, today after thinking about it so much I would like to share with you a topic that excites me a lot, well, after 12 years the famous zombie series The Walking Dead has ended, but the best part is that I also finished watching it and that is something that personally fills me with great pride because not many people manage to finish with such an extensive series and in the case of this much more since at a certain moment part of the audience lost interest in it and although I was one of those people a few months ago I decided to continue with this series to end it and close that "chapter" of my life, today I will tell you about my experience and what I thought after finishing it, I hope you be to your liking.

Aun cuando no hayas visto esta serie de seguro tuviste que haber escuchado de ella y sin duda debiste haber visto también muchos de sus memes y referencias en internet, ya que fue una serie muy popular sobre todo durante sus primeras temporadas, las cuales considero que fueron las mejores y más emocionantes, donde pasaron gran serie de eventos de importancia para la serie así como la muerte de gran parte de los personajes principales, lo que me dejó como lección no encariñarme mucho con ningún personaje porque en algún momento puede morir, algo que luego confirmé con la serie Game Of Thrones, la cual creo que es un mejor ejemplo de ello.
Even if you haven't seen this series, surely you must have heard of it and without a doubt you must have also seen many of its memes and references on the internet, since it was a very popular series, especially during its first seasons, which I consider to be the best and most exciting, where a great series of important events for the series took place, as well as the death of a large part of the main characters, which taught me not to get too attached to any character because at some point they could die, something that then I confirmed with the series Game Of Thrones, which I think is a better example of this.
The Walking Dead es del año 2010 y a pesar de que desde un inicio escuché de ella y me llamaba la atención no fue sino hasta el 2015 cuando comencé a verla junto con mi novio, quien ya la estaba viendo desde sus inicios pero la vio nuevamente para poder ponerme al día y al llegar hasta la parte actual, quedé completamente maravillada con esa serie, a partir de allí esperamos la siguiente parte para continuar, no recuerdo muy bien pero creo que fue la primera serie que comenzamos a ver juntos y a partir de allí nos volvimos locos viendo series y películas, tomando esto como uno de nuestros pasatiempos favoritos y lo que más hemos hecho juntos. Al principio la trama era increíble, todos los hechos traían consigo un sinfín de emociones, o al menos así lo percibí yo, me parecía tan emocionante que nunca podía ver solo un capitulo, así que todas esas temporadas acumuladas que no había visto las vi considerablemente rápido, por lo que podría decir que pasé por la fiebre de TWD.
The Walking Dead is from the year 2010 and although I heard about it from the beginning and it caught my attention, it wasn't until 2015 when I started watching it together with my boyfriend, who had already been watching it since its inception but he saw it again to be able to catch up and when I got to the current part, I was completely amazed with that series, from there we waited for the next part to continue, I don't remember very well but I think it was the first series that we started to see together and from there we went crazy watching series and movies, taking this as one of our favorite hobbies and what we have done the most together. At first the plot was incredible, all the events brought endless emotions, or at least that's how I perceived it, it seemed so exciting to me that I could never see just one chapter, so all those accumulated seasons that I hadn't seen I saw considerably fast so you could tell i went through TWD fever.
Entiendo que la serie está basada en una historieta con la cual no estoy ni un poco familiarizada, la verdad es que nunca me llamó la atención porque preferí ver la serie directamente, para estos casos soy más de ver que de leer, sin embargo, mi pareja me hacía saber cuándo había una diferencia entre el comic y la serie pero siempre vi más interesante como sucedía en la serie aunque puede que muchos tengan opiniones diferentes al respecto.
The Walking Dead marcó un antes y un después en cuanto al género de apocalipsis zombi se refiere, esta serie expuso una nueva forma de ver tanto a los zombies como al fin del mundo que conocemos, mostrándonos un sinfín de escenarios en su mayoría dominados por el caos, la muerte y la destrucción, que en lo personal me parece bastante acertado, no imagino vivir una apocalipsis zombi de una manera diferente a la que ya conozco, y aunque inevitablemente es bastante escalofriante siento que justo así sería todo si llegara a pasar.
I understand that the series is based on a comic with which I am not even a bit familiar, the truth is that it never caught my attention because I preferred to see the series directly, for these cases I am more of a watcher than a reader, however, my couple let me know when there was a difference between the comic and the series but I always saw more interesting how it happened in the series although many may have different opinions about it.
The Walking Dead marked a before and after as far as the zombie apocalypse genre is concerned, this series exposed a new way of seeing both zombies and the end of the world we know, showing us endless scenarios mostly dominated by the chaos, death and destruction, which personally seems quite accurate to me, I cannot imagine living a zombie apocalypse in a different way than the one I already know, and although it is inevitably quite chilling, I feel that this is exactly how everything would be if it happened.
De cualquier forma considero a The Walking Dead como una gran serie y la mejor de su género, admito que su final no fue el mejor de todos y que las ultimas 3 temporadas venían algo flojas y lentas (a mi parecer) pero no puedo evitar sentir nostalgia al recordar esos buenos tiempos de la serie y que después de tantos años haya llegado a su fin, ya se había convertido en costumbre para mí ver TWD y hasta era parte de mi vida, un tema de conversación constante, algo interesante que discutir y miles de referencias que entender al ver alguna imagen, meme o parodia al respecto, pero, pese a todo eso me parece bien que ya haya acabado, siento que ya se había alargado mucho y cuando eso pasa es inevitable perder la calidad así como la atención del público, ya era hora de acabar esa historia y aunque su final no fue el que muchos esperábamos ya por fin ha sucedido y ha sido lo mejor.
In any case, I consider The Walking Dead as a great series and the best of its genre, I admit that its ending was not the best of all and that the last 3 seasons were a little weak and slow (in my opinion) but I can't help but feel nostalgic when I remember those good times of the series and that after so many years it has come to an end, it had already become a habit for me to watch TWD and it was even part of my life, a topic of constant conversation, something interesting to discuss and thousands of references to understand when seeing an image, meme or parody about it, but, despite all that, I think it's good that it's over, I feel like it had gone on for a long time and when that happens it's Inevitably losing quality as well as public attention, it was time to end that story and although its ending was not what many of us expected, it has finally happened and it has been for the best.
Es imposible olvidar una serie que nos ha marcado tanto y que dio tanto en su momento, por eso, a pesar de su finalización The Walking Dead será siempre recordada y perdurará en el tiempo cada vez que pensemos en zombis o en un mundo apocalíptico porque como ya mencioné al principio, esta serie cambió por completo la forma de ver este género y en lo personal siento que marcó una gran diferencia y algo de esa magnitud no es fácil de olvidar.
It is impossible to forget a series that has marked us so much and gave us so much at the time, therefore, despite its completion, The Walking Dead will always be remembered and will endure over time every time we think of zombies or a apocalyptic world because as I mentioned at the beginning, this series completely changed the way of seeing this genre and personally I feel that it made a big difference and something of that magnitude is not easy to forget.
