The Act
Esta es una serie que en cada temporada nos contará una historia de crímenes verdaderos por lo que la primera temporada (por los momentos la única que hay) Nos cuenta de historia de Gypsy Blanchard una niña bastante enferma que lidia con su mamá sobreprotectora, la cual le impide a toda costa vivir o intentar vivir su vida normal.
Gypsy es una niña que desde bebé aparentemente fue diagnosticada con múltiples enfermedades que no le permiten vivir su vida normal, por lo que su madre Dee Dee dedicó su vida para cuidarla, su caso se hizo bastante famoso y resolvieron múltiples ayudas y viajes para que ambas vivieran bien, tenían su casa rosa con todo de princesas como a Gypsy le gusta, todo aparenta ser Perfecto hasta qué pasa el asesinato de su madre.
Dee Dee sometía asu hija a múltiples abusos, producto del Síndrome de Münchhausen por poder, Tenía el Trastorno facticio infligido a otro, de la pasaba dándole tratamientos que imposibilitaban su movilidad, la alimentaba a través de sondas, mentía sobre su historial clínico y nunca decía su verdadera edad.
Por esta razón cuando Gypsy empezó a volverse mayor, buscaba su independencia, pero su inexperiencia en la vida y sus traumas producto del abuso constante de su madre. Luego de conocer y enamorarse de Nicholas Godejohn de 23 años y con antecedentes penales, este se volvió su confidente, Gypsy le contaba todos los abusos que sufría en manos de su madre, esta obviamente no la dejaba tener novio, por lo que ambos planearon matarla y escapar, su plan fracaso gracias a una publicación que hicieron a través de Facebook que ambas tenían en donde avisaron que estaba Muerta.
Finalmente los terminan atrapando en donde Gypsy quedó con una condena de 10 años por asesinato en segundo grado y su novio condenado a cadena perpetua. La última escena nos muestran a Gypsy en la cárcel pero aun con la presencia de su madre demostrándonos que jamás se librará de ella.
Me causo pesadillas, es increíble la angustia que nos trasmite esta serie, el miedo que nos causa el novio de Gypsy, lo poco que vimos del crudo infierno qué pasó desde meses de nacida, las actuaciones son increíbles, Joey King hace un increíble papel, y ni hablar de Calum Worthy, que lo conocía por sus papeles de tonto, es fenomenal.
The Act
This is a series that in each season will tell us a story of true crimes, so the first season (at the moment the only one there is) tells us the story of Gypsy Blanchard a very sick girl who deals with her overprotective mother, which prevents him at all costs from living or trying to live his normal life.

Dee Dee subjected her daughter to multiple abuses, a product of Münchhausen Syndrome by proxy, She had Factitious disorder inflicted on another, she spent time giving her treatments that made her mobility impossible, she fed her through tubes, lied about his medical history and never told his real age.
For this reason, when Gypsy began to get older, she sought independence from her, but her inexperience in her life and her trauma as a result of her mother's constant abuse. After meeting and falling in love with Nicholas Godejohn, 23 years old and with a criminal record, who became her confidant, Gypsy told her about all the abuse she suffered at the hands of her mother, who obviously did not let her have a boyfriend, so that they both planned to kill her and escape, their plan failed thanks to a publication they made through Facebook that they both had where they warned that she was Dead.
They finally end up getting caught where Gypsy got a 10-year sentence for second-degree murder and her boyfriend got life in prison. The last scene shows us Gypsy in jail but even with the presence of her mother showing us that he will never get rid of her.
It caused me nightmares, the anguish that this series transmits to us is incredible, the fear that Gypsy's boyfriend causes us, the little we saw of the crude hell that happened since she was born months ago, the performances are incredible, Joey King plays an incredible role, Not to mention Calum Worthy, who knew him from his goofball roles, is phenomenal.
