Esta película se estrenó en el 2004, está protagonizada por Jennifer Garner, esta es una historia en la que nos muestran una niña a punto de cumplir sus 13 años, pero como la gran mayoría a esa edad solo piensa en ser una mujer adulta, ella quiere ser guapa y popular, quiere ser aceptada por todos, pero tenemos que tener mucho cuidado con lo que se desea, ya que no sabemos que consecuencia nos trae. Debido a una gran humillación qué pasó deseo tanto ser una mujer de 30 que milagrosamente sucedió, pasando así 17 años, en un parpadear de ojos, esta quedo con su misma mentalidad de 13, por lo que se da cuenta la gran cantidad de cambios que pasaron en su vida.

Jenna, una niña que busca ser aceptada por las tontas populares y planea hacer una gran fiesta de cumpleaños (sus 13 años) para que estas vayan y así volverse parte del Club, estas aceptan ir junto con el chico que a Jenna le gustaba solo si ella les hacía un trabajo que estas tenían pendiente.
Jenna lo único que quería de cumpleaños era una casa de Barbie, su mejor amigo Matt le hace una casera y le pone una especie de polvo mágico, en eso llegan sus invitados y Jenna corre a guardar esta casa en el closet para que sus invitados no la vean. Jenna por querer ser aceptada trata mal a su mejor amigo, este se va a buscar unos CD’s de música, en eso le dicen que para jugar 7 minutos en el cielo, le tapan los ojos y la encierran en el closet, Max entra pensando que Jenna lo está esperando a él y esta se molesta y lo empuja.
Cuando Jenna entra al cuarto todos se van, ella se da cuenta de todo esto, se encierra de nuevo, empieza a golpear todo y ahí le empieza a caer este polvito mágico, ella pide tener 30 años, ser una mujer exitosa y próspera, ya que ese era su mayor sueño, sentía que su vida ya estaría resuelta.
Despierta algo desorientada, teniendo un cuerpo adulto, en eso escucha alguien en la casa y sale deprisa asustada sin entender nada, en eso se encuentra con Lucy, al parecer ahora son grandes amigas y trabajan juntas, ella se da cuenta que trabaja en su revista favorita, todo parece haber pasado normal pero ella se queda en sus 13 años, así que no sabe como llego hasta ahí, ni mucho menos que hacer. Ella se entera que su revista favorita está en guerra con otra nueva revista, ya que se le filtra el contenido y suben todo antes que ellos.
Para intentar entender lo qué pasa, ella se acuerda de su mejor amigo Matt por lo que le pide a su secretaria que lo ayude a contactar, consigue su ubicación por lo que decide ir a verlo y este le dice que hace años ellos no tienen contacto, desde el día del cumpleaños n13 de ella, estos se distanciaron totalmente y ella se hizo parte del grupito popular y logró ir al baile con el chico que le gustaba, Matt se tiene que ir y Jenna lo invita a una fiesta que se acaba de enterar que tiene. Esta fiesta se ve bastante aburrida, hasta que Jenna se le ocurre ponerlos a bailar Thriller, todos se saben esta coreografía y empiezan a unirse al baile.
Saliendo de la fiesta Jenna se entera que Matt tiene novia y se van a casar y esta se pone celosa. Luego vemos una escena un poco rara como cuando le coquetea a un niño, pero es que claro, ella tiene 13 años internamente, vemos una escena en donde el novio intenta seducirla haciendo unos bailes algo ratos y obviamente ella se siente incómoda y luego invita a todas las niñas de su edificio a hacer una pijamada.
Esta se da cuenta que se convirtió en una mala persona, no tiene relación con sus padres, se da cuenta que tenía una relación con un esposo de una de sus compañeras de trabajo y su mejor amiga la odia. Su único lugar seguro era Matt por lo que lo buscan y salen a caminar un rato, hablan un poco de lo qué pasó antes y al día siguiente hace un viaje para ir a donde sus padres. Ellos no están en ese momento, ella entra en el armario y hace Justo lo mismo para ver si se devuelve al pasado, pero no lo logra, sus padres llegan hablan y comparten un rato, esta le dice que no se retracte de los errores, que eso la hacen la persona que es hoy en día.
Jenna vuelve a su vida, a vivirla a su manera, por lo que comienza a trabajar en la nueva edición de la revista, esté dándole un enfoque diferente y más divertido, Lucy le comenta que mientras no estuvo adelantó algo y Jenna le dice que ella igual.
Jenna busca a Matt para que le ayude a plasmar su idea, y arman una gran sesión de fotos, luego de la sesión de foto salen de nuevo a caminar y a comer gomitas recordando cuando eran pequeños, van a un parque y empiezan a jugar en los columpios, se caen, cayendo acostados juntos, se dan un beso.
En el trabajo vemos que a todos le encantaron la idea de Jenna y fue la que ganó, Lucy se va molesta y de da cuenta que la que le filtraba la información a la otra revista era Jenna, ya que obtendría un puesto más alto, esta al darse cuenta busca a Matt para pedirle que le seda el derecho de sus fotos y le robó el puesto en la otra revista.
Jenna se encuentra feliz Gracias a que todo le ha salido bien, en eso va a buscar a Matt use da cuenta que en su apartamento se encuentra la prometida de este y se entera que la boda es mañana. Jenna se va triste, llega al trabajo y se dan cuenta que su idea ya no la pueden usar, ya que Matt le cedió el derecho de las fotos Lucy y está presento esa idea como suya. Toma un taxi para ir hasta la boda de Matt y se da cuenta que el taxista era el chico que tanto le gustaba, que termino siendo un fracasado que aún vive con sus padres.
Llega a la casa de Matt e intenta hablar con el, pero este le dice que el tiempo no se puede devolver y que cada quien tiene que vivir su vida, este le devuelve la casita de Barbie que aún tenía guardada, esta se la lleva y gracias al viento el polvito mágico hace su magia de nuevo devolviendo a Jenna al mismo momento en donde la dejo a sus 13 años.
Ella aquí si toma sus mejores decisiones, recupera a Matt y se deshace de Lucy, luego nos muestran unas escenas ya adultos de nuevo, casándose y luego su casa soñada color rosa como la de Barbie y aquí termina esta película.
Una comedia con una trama sencilla, tiene muy buenas actuaciones por Gardner y Ruffalo. La película se desarrolla de la mejor manera posible, tanto la trama como la historia de romance que va surgiendo entre estos actores, esta película transmite una vibra alegre y nos deja un mensaje importante en vivir y disfrutar cada día, no afanarnos por nuestro futuro y mucho menos perder nuestra esencia.
Hace poco se filmó la película de Proyecto Adam en el que Jennifer y Mark hacen pareja de nuevo y recrearon la icónica escena del final.

Jenna, a girl who seeks to be accepted by the popular fools and plans to throw a big birthday party (her 13 years) for them to go and thus become part of the Club, they agree to go together with the boy that Jenna liked only if she did a job for them that they had pending.
The only thing Jenna wanted for her birthday was a Barbie house, her best friend Matt makes her a homemade one and puts some kind of magic powder on it, then her guests arrive and Jenna runs to put this house in the closet so that her guests don't see her Jenna for wanting to be accepted treats her best friend badly, he goes to look for some music CD's, in that they tell him that to play 7 minutes in heaven, they cover his eyes and lock her in the closet, Max enters thinking that Jenna is waiting for him and she gets upset and pushes him away.
When Jenna enters the room, everyone leaves, she realizes all this, she locks herself up again, starts hitting everything and that's where this magic dust begins to fall, she asks to be 30 years old, to be a successful and prosperous woman, now that this was his biggest dream, he felt that his life would already be resolved.
She wakes up somewhat disoriented, having an adult body, in that she hears someone in the house and rushes out scared without understanding anything, in that she meets Lucy, apparently now they are great friends and work together, she realizes that she works in her magazine favorite, everything seems to have happened normally but she remains in her 13 years, so she doesn't know how she got there, much less what to do. She finds out that her favorite magazine is at war with another new magazine, as she leaks their content and they upload everything before they do.
To try to understand what is happening, she remembers her best friend Matt so she asks her secretary to help him contact him, she gets his location so she decides to go see him and he tells her that they have not had contact for years , from the day of her 13th birthday, they totally distanced themselves and she became part of the popular group and managed to go to the dance with the boy she liked, Matt has to go and Jenna invites him to a party that has just ended find out what you have. This party looks pretty boring, until Jenna decides to make them dance Thriller, they all know this choreography and start to join the dance.
Leaving the party Jenna finds out that Matt has a girlfriend and they are getting married and she gets jealous. Then we see a slightly strange scene like when she flirts with a boy, but of course, she is 13 years old internally, we see a scene where the boyfriend tries to seduce her by doing some dances for a while and obviously she feels uncomfortable and then invites all the girls in her building to have a sleepover.
This she realizes that she became a bad person, she has no relationship with her parents, she realizes that she had a relationship with a husband of one of her co-workers and her best friend she hates her. The only safe place for her was Matt, so they look for him and go for a walk, they talk a little about what happened before and the next day she makes a trip to go to her parents. They are not at that moment, she goes into the closet and does exactly the same thing to see if she goes back to the past, but she does not succeed, her parents arrive, talk and share a while, she tells her not to retract mistakes, That makes her the person she is today.
Jenna returns to her life, to live it in her own way, so she begins to work on the new edition of the magazine, giving it a different and more fun approach, Lucy tells her that while she wasn't there she advanced something and Jenna tells her that she Same.
Jenna looks for Matt to help her capture her idea, and they put together a great photo session, after the photo session they go out again to walk and eat gummies remembering when they were little, they go to a park and start playing in the swings, they fall, falling lying down together, they kiss.
At work we see that everyone loved Jenna's idea and she was the one who won, Lucy leaves upset and realizes that the one who leaked the information to the other magazine was Jenna, since she would get a higher position, this realizing it, he looks for Matt to ask him to give him the rights to his photos and stole his job at the other magazine.
Jenna is happy Thanks to the fact that everything has gone well for her, in that she goes to look for Matt when she realizes that his fiancée is in her apartment and she finds out that the wedding is tomorrow. Jenna leaves sad, arrives at work and they realize that her idea can no longer be used, since Matt gave her the rights to her Lucy photos and is presenting that idea as his own. She takes a taxi to go to Matt's wedding and she realizes that the taxi driver was the boy she liked so much, that he ended up being a loser who still lives with her parents.
He arrives at Matt's house and tries to talk to him, but he tells him that time cannot be returned and that everyone has to live their life, he returns the Barbie house that he still had saved, she takes it and Thanks to the wind, the magic dust works its magic again, returning Jenna to the same moment where she left her at 13 years old.
She here if she makes the best decisions for her, she gets Matt back and gets rid of Lucy, then they show us some adult scenes again, getting married and then her pink dream house like Barbie's and this movie ends here.
A comedy with a simple plot, it has very good performances by Gardner and Ruffalo. The film is developed in the best possible way, both the plot and the romance story that is emerging between these actors, this film transmits a happy vibe and leaves us with an important message to live and enjoy each day, not worry about our future and much less lose our essence.
The Project Adam movie was recently filmed in which Jennifer and Mark are a couple again and recreate the iconic scene at the end.
