Hola amigos, después del intento fallido de ir a ver en el cine la película decidí esperar y ver en casa cuando estuviera en alguna plataforma, así que por fin pude ver Insidous 6: están entre nosotros, publicada en el mes de agosto de este mismo año, para quienes seguimos la saga tenía muchas expectativas aunque ví muchos comentarios de personas que no les gustó decidí dar mi propia opinión.

Hello friends. After my failed attempt to see the film in theaters, I decided to wait and watch it at home once it became available on a streaming platform. So, I was finally able to watch Insidious 6: They Are Among Us, which was released this past August. As someone who has followed the series, I had high expectations; and even though I saw many comments from people who didn't like it, I decided to form my own opinion.

Para comenzar tenemos como protagonista a Gemma una joven dentista con un pasado lleno de miedos y vacíos por el suicidio de su madre, cuando ya es una adulta decide hacer su propia vida y continuar su rumbo con la crianza de su hija, pero poco a poco nota sueños extraños y vivencias de la realidad que parecen aterradoras, aunque busca evadir esta parte llega a un punto que afecta su vida personal, laboral y la relación con su pequeña hija por lo que decide ir en busca de ayuda.

The story centers on Gemma, a young dentist whose past is marked by fear and a profound sense of emptiness following her mother’s suicide. Now an adult, she strives to build her own life and move forward while raising her young daughter. However, she begins to experience unsettling dreams and terrifying real-life occurrences. Although she initially tries to avoid confronting these events, they eventually reach a point where they disrupt her personal life, her career, and her relationship with her daughter—compelling her to seek help.

Lo que me gustó es que volvemos a ver a Elise uno de los personajes principales de la saga, por su capacidad de ir al más allá e interactuar con todo ser que viva en ese mundo, sin embargo noté que la mayoría de las escenas que se supone que debían ser aterradoras, para mí no fué tanto como en las primeras películas de la saga.

What I liked is that we get to see Elise again—one of the main characters in the saga—given her ability to enter the afterlife and interact with the beings that inhabit that realm; however, I felt that most of the scenes intended to be terrifying weren't quite as scary as those in the earlier films of the series.

La saga de insidous siempre se ha caracterizado por mostrar ese terror que nos deja hasta pensando cuando nos vamos a dormir, esto es algo que no me gustó mucho siento que pudo haberse desarrollado mejor en esta parte, ya que el público siempre espera esa escena que te impacte como de costumbre. Con esto no quiero decir que deje ser interesante.

The Insidious saga has always been known for delivering the kind of horror that stays on your mind even when you’re trying to go to sleep; in this installment, however, I feel that aspect could have been better developed—after all, audiences always look forward to that one scene that truly packs a punch. That’s not to say, though, that it isn’t still interesting.

Por último quiero decir que ya por fin he completado la saga y entre mis favoritas está la 1, la 2 y la puerta roja, aún recuerdo cuando la vi por primera vez de pequeña y ese día me dejó con mucho miedo, y siento que la primera también tiene ese terror que es difícil superar, toda la saga es espectacular así que recomiendo que la vean.

Finally, I want to say that I’ve now completed the entire saga. Among my favorites are the first one, the second one, and The Red Door; I still remember watching it for the first time when I was little—it left me absolutely terrified. I also feel that the first film captures a level of horror that’s hard to top. The whole saga is spectacular, so I highly recommend watching it.
