Las películas que combinan la danza y el romance son una de mis favoritas, hoy les comparto la reseña sobre Step Up: Camino a la fama publicada en el año 2006, una película que te entretiene al ritmo del baile, también nos muestra un ejemplo de superación por parte de los protagonistas Tyler y Nora, el crecer en un barrio pobre te puede truncar los sueños pero dependerá de ti lo que quieras lograr, así hizo Tyler.

Movies that combine dance and romance are among my favorites. Today I'm sharing my review of Step Up: Road to Fame, published in 2006. This film entertains you with its dance rhythms and also shows us an example of overcoming adversity through the protagonists Tyler and Nora. Growing up in a poor neighborhood can thwart your dreams, but what you want to achieve depends on you, and that's exactly what Tyler did.

Tyler un jóven que vive en el barrio, tiene un mal comportamiento junto a sus amigos en ocasiones, pero hay algo más allá y es el talento indiscutible al bailar, sus malas decisiones lo llevan a pagar un servicio comunitario en la escuela de arte, en dónde se encuentran músicos, pintores, bailarines. Quizás este castigo fué lo mejor que pudo sucederle ya que luego comienza a descubrir su propósito en la escuela.

Tyler, a young man who lives in the neighborhood, sometimes misbehaves with his friends, but there's something more to him: his undeniable talent for dancing. His bad decisions lead him to perform community service at the art school, where musicians, painters, and dancers gather. Perhaps this punishment was the best thing that could have happened to him, as it then begins to discover his purpose at the school.

Por otra parte tenemos a Nora, una joven bailarina que pertenece a la escuela de artes donde Tyler realizaría su servicio comunitario, aquí es donde cambian las cosas ya que ambos viven dos realidades diferentes y esto genera algunos conflictos por las clases sociales, recordando que ella es más centrada y disciplinada, mientras que Tyler aún no definía su futuro, lo que me gustó es que ambos pueden relacionarse y mezclar ambos géneros musicales, el estilo callejero con la música clásica.

On the other hand, we have Nora, a young dancer who belongs to the arts school where Tyler would do his community service. This is where things change, since they both live two different realities, and this generates some conflicts due to social classes. Remember that she is more focused and disciplined, while Tyler had not yet defined his future. What I liked is that they can relate to each other and mix both musical genres, the street style with classical music.

La parte que no me gustó es la otra realidad que muestran con los jóvenes que no cambian su rumbo de salir de las calles y del peligro, en este punto intentan demostrar que dejar atrás los errores y cambiar para el futuro es lo ideal, también me fuese gustado ver más la relación de Nora y Tyler siento que pasó muy rápido, como si se enamoraron al instante, creo que Tyler debió demostrar más el afecto.

The part I didn't like is the other reality they show with the young people who don't change their course of leaving the streets and danger. At this point, they try to demonstrate that leaving behind mistakes and changing for the future is ideal. I also would have liked to see more of Nora and Tyler's relationship; I feel it happened too fast, as if they fell in love instantly. I think Tyler should have shown more affection.

Sin embargo ambos aprendieron a confiar uno del otro, aprendieron de ambos, y esto los llevó a combinar pasos para la rutina final, Tyler tuvo una oportunidad de madurar y cambiar, y lo hizo su principal desafío fue demostrar cuanto le importaba el baile y de eso dependería un cupo en la escuela de artes para formarse y graduarse, nos demuestra que no importa la clase social o de donde venimos solo se trata de superarte y de aprovechar cada oportunidad, en términos generales es una película que se disfruta por el baile.

However, they both learned to trust each other, they learned from each other, and this led them to combine steps for the final routine. Tyler had an opportunity to mature and change, and he did. His main challenge was to demonstrate how much he cared about dance, and on that, a place at the arts school to train and graduate depended. It shows us that social class or where we come from doesn't matter; it's just about improving yourself and taking advantage of every opportunity. In general terms, it's a movie that is enjoyed for the dance.
